It was 6:59 to be exact as I walk into the potions classroom where my detention is being held.

He looks up from his desk as I plopped down into a seat.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked him.

"No talking." He stated.

"Are you really my godfather?" I noticed him tense. He looks at me. "I may or may not over heard something last year."

"Why are you asking me this now?" He asked clearly irritated. I shrug and leaned back into my seat.

"I dunno I never really had the time I guess." I told him. "So it's true then?" He curtly nodded. I grinned.

"Cool." I said. He gave me an odd look. "What?" I ask him.

After that I kept quiet. My mind started drifting to Uncle Remus and dad. I haven't written to them since Christmas. I've been so busy with school and everything I couldn't find the time.

Luckily I brought my bag with me and quietly took out pieces of parchment, a quill and an ink bottle and started writing my first letter to Uncle Remus.

I wish I had Reggie. He knows where to go and Ced's owl isn't always the nicest to me.

Lucius made sure Reggie stayed put in my old room,

I folded up the piece of parchment and started on dad's. I heard the sound of a chair scraping against the floor. I looked up and saw Prof Snape walking into a closet and I heard an owl.

He walks out carry a cage which did contain an owl in it. He set it right next to me.

"I believe this owl belongs to you." He said in his usual monotonous voice. I smiled.

"How did you get him here?" I ask him happily.

"It doesn't matter." He replied. I smiled up at him.

"Thank you." I told him. He looked surprised but then nodded and went back to his desk. I placed the cage in my desk and opened the cage and petted Reggie.

"You may be dismissed." I heard him say. I placed my things into my bag and left with Reggie.

"Thanks again Professor!" I called out to him as I left.

Next stop the owlery.
