My baby shower was coming up and as instructed I was to invite Lucas's side of the family. I really didnt want to be bothered with his dramatic dad. I was in my room looking at some things that I wanted to get the baby when my dad walked in.

"Hey sweetheart." he said with a soft smile.

"Hi daddy. What's up?"

"Well...I just wanted to know what you were doing. I just finished in the studio."

"Im just looking at some things that I want to get the baby." I said as he sat down. I was having a baby girl and I felt happier about having a baby because I couldnt wait to dress her up and do her hair."

"Daddy?"

"Yes sweetpea?"

"When I have the baby....will I still exist or will she take my place?"

"Oh Anna....you'll always be my babygirl. You're my daughter and I love you. Yes the baby will take up attention but that's what she needs. But regardless...I love you and I always will." he said kissing my forehead. I smiled and pointed to a dress.

"Do you like it?"

He laughed. "Its nice....but you'd have to get the real approval from your mom." he said laughing. I laughed and closed my labtop. "So you have been around here a lot lately." I said to him.

"Yea....I need to be close to my daughter. She needs me you know."

I giggled. "Yea I do. So what are you going to bring to the baby shower?"

"Im not telling...its a surprise."

"Awe daddy come on! I wanna know!"

"Nope! You just have to wait." he said giggling. I gave him the puppy dog face and he laughed. "Awe come on you used that same face when you were little but its not gonna work this time."

I laughed and gave him a silly face. He gave one right back and he hugged me. "I'm proud of you babygirl. You are really growing to be a nice young lady and I love you."

"I love you too daddy."
