Anna: 15 years old

"Daddy!!!" I called from my bedroom. I was going to tell him that I was going over Taylin's house to study and I needed a ride bad. He walked in my room drinking a bottle of water.

"Yes my love?" he asked panting hard

"What did you just do run a marathon?"

He giggled. "No...I was dancing. You know I don't like running that much."

"That's correct. Can you take me to Taylin's house please?"

"Did you ask your mom?"

"She's making dinner and umm...since you can't cook you should take me!" I pleaded

He sighed as he knew he was going to give in to daddy's little girl. "Oh alright. I'll be ready in five minutes. And hey now I can cook!" he said

I gave him a "really?" look and started laughing. He laughed and said he was going to get me. He went downstairs and I was packing the rest of my stuff when my phone rang. I grabbed it and plopped on the bed.

"Hello?"

"Hey Anna."

"What's up Lucas?"

"Awe nothing. I was wondering if I could talk to you after school tomorrow. Its important."

"Oh ok. Just meet me at my locker."

"Perfect. Ill see you then."

I got off the phone and headed downstairs. I walked in the kitchen and my mom Mary was making dinner. "Oh hi honey. Your dad is outside and he'll be back to pick you up at 7 in time for dinner."

"Ok mom! See ya!" I said running out the door. My dad was in the car and I hopped in. I put on my glasses and he laughed.

"What?" I said smiling

"You get more and more like me everyday. You are growing into a beautiful young lady and im so proud of you." he said kissing me on my forehead. I smiled and I hugged him. We headed to Taylin's house and we were in her room eating cookies and studying.

"Ok so Lucas called me today before I left...."

"Oh? What did he say?"

"He said that he needed to talk to me after school about something important."

"I think he likes you Ann."

"How do you think?"

"Well, he blushes everytime you come around, he sits by you all the time and he's always just so charming with you." she said giggling.

I laughed. "Tay that is not true!"

"It so is. I bet he's going to ask you out....just wait and watch."

I looked at her and laughed. I think he just needed to tell me a secret or something and he doesn't want anyone to know. We were just best friends and I don't think he likes me like that. We continued to study and that thought weighed in my head.

I got home and I got ready for bed. After a hearty meal I was ready to hit the sack. I plopped on my bed and grabbed my phone. I was so tempted to call Lucas but I guess he was already asleep.

I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to see what he has to say.
