I was in the kitchen looking over some papers and Anna walked in. "Anna sweetheart....youve been quiet for days. Are you ok?"

"I uhhh..Im good dad. Just been busy."

"Oh ok. Well just rest yourself love. You look stressed."

"Dad ive been having sex."

I dropped my pen and removed my glasses. "Excuse me?"

"Ive been having sex. I lost my virginity to Lucas."

I had to get up and let this sink all in. My only child...my baby girl...was having sex behind my back? Where did my parenting go wrong? "How many times?"

"What?"

"DAMMMIT HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU DID IT ANNA AND TELL THE TRUTH!"

She jumped back and sat in the chair. I was furious as hell and I was trying to contain myself. "Mary come here!" 

Mary's slippers across the floor in an instant. "Yes honey whats going on?"

"Anna?" I said looking at her to say something. She shuffled her feet and looked at Mary. "Mom I..."

"What is it honey?"

"Ive...Ive been having sex." she said looking down and about to cry. Mary's eyes went wide and she leaned against the counter. "AWE SHIT!" she said loudly and I nodded. "Are you pregnant?" she asked Anna. Anna said no.

"I cant believe this shit. I raised you.....not to do this! You know better Anna! I told you to wait until marriage! Now what if this guy decided to leave you Anna? Huh?"

"Dad he said he loved me and he even asked me if I wanted to! It was my decision dad."

"What else are you hiding Anna? You never do this."

"I...." Anna started to say. Just then the phone rang. Anna was about to get up and answer it. "Oh no you dont. Sit back down." I ordered. I went to the phone and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Yes is this Anna?"

"No this is her father."

"Im calling from the clinic. This information is confidential sir. This is a teen clinic and I not allowed to disclose and information without Anna or Lucas."

"Dammit if its something bad you're going to hender her to keep a secret. Im her parent and I am willing to sue if I dont get an answer."

The lady sighed over the phone. "Mr.Jackson...Anna and Lucas came in a couple of days ago and we found out that she was pregnant with her first child. I called her so she can pick up her prenatal vitamins."

"My daughter is not pregnant. You've got the wrong person."

"Im sorry sir....Anna is indeed pregnant. Shes 3 weeks."

"Oh my god." My heart shattered into pieces. As if I hadnt heard enough surprises today. I told the lady thank you and I hung up the phone. Mary walked to me and asked me what was wrong.

"Anna's pregnant." I said looking down at the floor. Mary slooped down to my level and Anna started to cry.
