*Michael*

I was in the kitchen talking to Mary and the door suddenly rang. "Ill get it hun" I said getting up from the stool. I ran to the door and when I opened it Lucas was standing there with a suitcase.

"Lucas...son what are you doing here?"

"Im sorry to bother you sir, but my dad kicked me out. He said he doesnt support Anna and the baby. Please sir I have no where to go and I have no intentions of losing Anna or our baby over my dad and his selfish ways."

I looked at this young man. He was taking responsibility for his actions and he wanted to help raise this child. "Of course you can stay son, just as long as you live up to what you prmised."

"Of course sir. Nothing less will be expected out of me I promise." I let him in and Mary ran in the foyer. "Michael whats going on?"

"Baby, Lucas's dad told him to get out of the hosue because he wants to be with Anna and help raise the baby."

"Oh Lucas honey you can stay here as long as you want! Are you hungry? I made fried chicken and mac and cheese. Today is comfort food day."

"Yes ma'am Im starving, but if you dont mind can I see Anna first? She usually helps to calm me down."

I looked at Mary and shrugged. "Of course you can honey. Shes in her room asleep. Carrying a baby is a lot of  work." Mary said.

"And thats why Im here to help her and support her the whole way." he said to us. He put his bag to the side and ran up to Anna's room. I hope it wasnt gonna be a problem with him staying here.

*Anna*

I was laying in my bed nodding again trying to catch a nap when there was a knock on the door. I said come in and Lucas was standing there. "Hey. What are you dong here?" I said tiredly.

"Babe my dad kicked me out because I told him that I was gonna marry you and take care of our baby." he said sitting down. I shook my head lightly and sighed.

"Hopefully he'll come around. What did my parents say?"

"They said I can stay as long as I do what I said I was gonna do. And I am."

"I know you are baby. You always keep your word." I said rubbing his cheek. He took my hand and kissed it. "I love you." he said softly.

I smiled and said I love you too. He got up and fixed my covers. "Im gonna unpack my stuff in the guest room and check on you afterwards. In the meantime you rest. Call me if you need me." he said kissing my cheek.

"I will." I said smiling. He left and shortly after my dad came to my room checking on me for the 50th time. I didnt mind it because he was just being my dad. 

"How are you babygirl?" he said sitting next to me.

"Tired....ashamed." I said quietly. He took my hand and held it. "Dont be ashamed. You made a mistake. We live and we learn and no matter what happens, you'll still be my babygirl.

I smiled. "Hey....Im feeling frozen yougurt. How bout you?" he said laughing. I nodded and laughed.

"Im guessing you want red velvet."

"You know me so well daddy."

He laughed. "One large frozen yougurt for the best daughter in the world." he said getting up.

"Daddy wait!!" I said. He turned around quickly. "Whats wrong babygirl?" I told him to bend down. I planted a small kiss on his forehead.

"Thank you for being the best dad in the world. I love you." I said smiling.

I love you most babygirl." he said kissing my forehead back. He left and I was left alone again. I thought about how my family was coming together because of this baby in my stomach. 

Im glad things were coming around.
