"Anna." I hear a soft voice call my name.

"Anna." Here it is again.

"Open your eyes dear. It's me. Do you remember?"

As soon as I here this deep but settling voice, I wake up without opening my eyes. But I want to see who's calling me, so I crack open the far corner of my right eye to catch a glimpse of whats happening. It's still dark.

I decide to completely open my eyes and search for a way out. Something tells me that I'm no longer in my school.

I try to get up, but before I could stand still on my feet a strange glow starts to appear from far ahead. I want to see what it is, but it's so bright, the shine is so bright that I just can't concentrate on it. I have to shield away or I might just blind myself.

I try my best to slide back a bit to hide from the mysterious shine that's strangely finding a way towards me.

Before I know it my plan of hiding from the shine fails as I notice that the shine within me is starting to escape.

Great, out of all times, this was the best for my inner glow to release.

I quickly put my wrist underneath my left thigh, the one furthest from the mysterious glow.

Ugggg, but the pain is only making me moan louder and louder because I'm pressing on it with my thai. It hurts so much. It feels like my wrist is breaking from the middle. The pain is getting me crazy but I hold it in. I cover my mouth with my hand.

It's getting closer a lot closer, I feel it.

After a couple of seconds he stands beside me, offering me a hand.

Not knowing what to do I give it to him and he pulls me up without and effort. I could see him. The voice is standing still right in front of me. But I can't see his face. He is only a shadow.

I flinch and slowly try to release my hand from his.

"Ah!" I scream, not being able to handle the pain anymore.

He raised his hand and covered my mouth with it, showing me with gestures, not to scream.

He slowly raised his other arm, the one that also has shine, and gently placed it on my burning wrist. My glow immediately got sucked back into my wrist. How did he do that, how does he have an inner glow or shine?

"Annabelle" He says with a hint of love.

No one can say that name anymore, not even me.

"A lot of secrets are held in your shine, dear. Remember to keep it safe, .rom the harmful one's" He speaks slowly

What? The harmful what?

"Be safe, and protect your shine" His voice starts fading away.

"Wait! You need to tell me everything, I need... help" I yell.

"Anna, wait till I return" He speaks.

"No, no. Forget it. I don't need your help. I don't need anything from you. Just leave me alone... please. Leave me alone in my long life" I yell.

There's nothing but silence. It's still pitch black around me, and I can't feel the voices existence anymore. I drop myself to the floor to get some rest and close my eyes, for a deep rest.

"Anna" Someone yells, I can hear their voice and heavy breaths right beside me.
"Wake her up, what are you looking at?" Another person yells, this time their voice isn't concerned, but more annoyed.
"She isn't waking up. I..I don't think she's sleeping. I think she fainted" She speaks quietly.

"Anna!! Wake up or...." My eyes break open. It's the principal at this school, or should I say an arrogant lady who really doesn't care about anyone else. It's actually the nurse who respects and cares for children.

I blink rapidly trying to get my vision back to normal.

"Anna, sweety are you alright?" The nurse asks with a gigantic smile.

I just look at her, not knowing what to say. What can I say exactly? The fact that I was taking to someone who I really don't know exists?

"Well are you going to answer or what? Ugh! Tell me why you were sleeping on my floor" The voice principal yells and ruins my thoughts.

"I...I don't remember anything, I just fell and I guess I fainted" This sounds more like a question, but I hope they believe my innocence.

"Rubbish!, Take her away to the school portal, and do it now" The principal yells and nurse Mal, so she can take me to the school portal and let me go home.

The school portal, which is very similar as the one at the cottage, is located at the main office. That's what I have to get into to return. I'm just happy they're letting me go without many questions.

The school portal is a dull red colour, with carvings of myths they tell here, which is kind of cool.

I just don't know what will happen at the cottage. What if the principal tells David--then I'm screwed.

"There you go sweety, be on your way now!" Nurse Mal says in a happy tone.

I step in to the portal, say the magic lyrics and before the portals door can close, I yell "Bye Nurse Mal!" and see her wave goodbye.
