Personality: Best way to describe his personality before Order 66 was enthusiastic, happy and heavily challenged. Despite having and showing his loyalty to the Jedi Order, he has a thing for breaking those rules. He is also capable of quick anger, which is why Mace Windu of all people offered to train him, in beliefs his teaching could actually balance his dark side of the force. Windu would often consider Ankor way too rebellious for the Jedi liking, but a strategic and creative one.

For when he became Darth Toorn, it was a culmination of hate, pain and grief. Ankor had reunited with a childhood friend, Sarmic. The two had a close friendship, almost a relationship, but Sarmic was caught in the crossfire during a fight he had with a bounty hunter named Embo, who escaped later on. But what really turned him into Darth Toorn, was the murder of Sarmic... by the hands of a Jedi, or by who he thought it was, Ki-Adi-Mundi. That fit of rage also killed one more person... his own master, Mace Windu. During his time as Darth Toorn, he became wrathful, though aware of his actions, he sought power, enough power to stop wars and end them permanently. Sidious often neglected him for Darth Vader, though Toorn just kept moving forward.

By the time he left Sidious after completing stomping on the Grand Inquisitor, he fought Vader and won, but would've killed the sith lord if Sidious' presence wasn't there. He left and escaped, leaving him in grief, sadness and anger for what he had done, the revelation of what really happened to Sarmic broke him, and seeing how the Enpire were turning into full pledge conquerors wasn't something he could handle. To this day, he is actually an alcoholic, drinking his sorrows away, but he keeps healing his body to stay young... like if he wants to torture himself everyday.

Powers and Abilities

Ankor is one of the most skilled and powerful Jedi's and Sith to have ever live, with about 19,000 to even 21,000 midi-chlorians in his system, putting him in similar ranks to Yoda and Sidious, but he doesn't reach the level of Anakin Skywalker or any of the Skywalkers. Even then, he is still one of the most powerful Jedi's ever recorded, claimed to be Windu's equal in power by the time in Episode 3 but still inferior to Darth Vader and Yoda plus heavily inferior to Darth Sidious

In terms of skill, Ankor is a master of Ataru, Niman, Jar'Kai, Juyo and Vaapad, in other words, Form IV, Form VI and Form VII, both variations of the last two. Windu and the council were skeptical of Ankor choosing to use a double bladed lightsaber, due to the Jedi turned Sith, Exar Kun, the first double bladed lightsaber wielder recorded. Though Jedi's such as Jaro Tapal and Pong Krell also used them. Ankor learned to use it on his own, of course Windu taught him the Vaapad style, and Ankor learned Niman from other masters and Jar'Kai so he can use the double bladed saber, but Ankor mixed those styles to fit his double bladed saber.

Sidious was the one to teach Toorn, "Juyo". Like his former apprentice, Darth Maul, Sidious trained Toorn in a similar fashion to Maul, to be an assassin, and with how skilled he was, he could've been. His skill is even more than enough to outright defeat The Grand Inquisitor in a few seconds and would later on be compared to Dooku in terms of lightsaber combat.

His level of force power is nothing to scoff at, especially his wide variety of techniques, but his most used force abilities have to be: Maelstrom, Force Lightning, Force Stasis and Force Burst. His Force Lightning was often compared if not stated to be more powerful than Dooku's, his Force Burst could destroy rocks without any difficulty, the shockwaves alone are devastating enough, his Force Stasis is more than powerful enough to freeze a whole barrage of blasters to even entire droid or trooper armies at once. But Maelstrom is definitely his most powerful ability. Force Maelstrom is an ability that Sidious taught him, and first time he used it, it was so uncontrollable that he completely killed all life in Planet Cerea, with Sidious only a few feet away from him, showing a smirk.

(Before anyone says that Jedi's in canon are not planetary, there are many planetary feats across Star Wars canon but most if not all of them are in the comics, such as when Yarael Poof stopped the destruction of Corusant, which is a planet, Vader been claimed numerous times to be The Empire's strongest weapon, which includes The Death Star and Vader was screaming in pain when Sidious revealed his true power, or a lot of it in the Vader comic, with a giant Bleeded Kyber Crystal which would later on power the Final Order, which was composed of 1,080 Xython class Star Destroyers, and Sidious controlled the giant kyber crystal, and take in consideration that this is in canon, not in Legends, if it was Legends, this would be a mere sparkle to Legends Sidious true power.)

Ankor can use other techniques like Tutaminis, Shatterpoint, Force Valor and a few more. He uses force abilities like force push during his lightsaber duel if necessary, due to his Niman lightsaber form, but he now uses force abilities this time with Vaapad, though it does put him on the risk that he will fall to the Dark Side once again.
