"Your face hurts, my face is on fire," Fabiola said as soon as she met up with Aubrey after what went down last night.

"Although my face wasn't hurt by her punches, my body ached from the sex with Joshua once we got home, but seeing him that mad last night was worth it," Aubrey said with a chuckle.

Fabiola laughed too. "Oh my gosh! Same. Sefa had me doing things with my throat I ain't never done before," Fabiola said, biting her lips.

They locked eyes and then burst out laughing uproariously, drawing curious glances from other patrons in the cafe.

"But last night was fucked up though like I can't believe we ran into Lance and Britani," Aubrey said.

Fabiola nodded. "I know right as soon as I saw them, I couldn't control myself. I had to put my hands on her for all that fucked up shit did to you. You were so loyal to that lowdown heffa, and she did you wrong by getting with your baby daddy," Fabiola said.

Aubrey sighed. "I know but I hope we don't ever see them again, my life would be better without them in it," Aubrey said.

"I hope so too," Fabiola said.

"But anyways, what's the plan for Sefa's birthday?" Aubrey asked.

"Well I'm having it at the house, so it will be a nice Sefa barbecue day, I'm going all out," Fabiola answered.

"Oh, I know you will," Aubrey said.

"I hope you and Sefa get married, I'm ready to have a full-time d...step-father now," Kassandra said.

"Kassa," Fabiola said as she caught her slip-up.

"What? It's the truth," Kassandra said.

"Do you want us to get married for real?" Fabiola asked her.

Fabiola gets down to some serious talk. "Do you like having Joseph around?" Fabiola asked her as they took a seat on a bench on the sidewalk.

Kassandra nodded. "Yeah, I'm happy he's back in our lives, I feel like we're complete now," Kassandra answered.

Kassandra and Fabiola have a heart to heart moment.

Fabiola smiled. "You know I always put you and Kay first, right so if your feelings ever change about him please let me know," Fabiola told her.

"Okay, but they won't change. I love him, and I love how happy he makes us," Kassandra said.

"Me too," Fabiola said.

"But I do have one request," Kassandra said.

"What is it?" Fabiola asked.

"If you guys have more kids, please don't have more than two, I don't think I can deal with a lot of kids as the oldest," Kassandra told her.

Fabiola chuckled.

"I don't know, I think we're good with the amount we have now," Fabiola said.

"I'm letting you know just in case you pop up pregnant," Kassandra said.

"I'll make sure to pass on the message to Sefa," Fabiola said.

Fabiola went out of her way to throw Sefa a birthday party he would never forget. It was a long night but a good one with the closest friends and family.

Sefa was so surprised by how much effort Fabiola put into his birthday party that he knew what he had to do once the party started to wrap up.

It was almost midnight when Sefa gathered his brothers and a couple of cousins to come outside and serenade Fabiola.

"How did this party turn out to be about me?" Fabiola asked as she stood in the center of the group, watching the last-minute performance with confusion on her face.

Everyone slowly started realizing what was going on as the boys switched the song to Let's Get Married by Jagged Edge.

"Oh my God!" Aubrey squealed as she pulled out her phone and started recording.

Sefa grabbed Fabiola's hand and pulled out of the group, singing.

Said I done it all
But frankly, girl, I'm tired of this emptiness
I wanna come home to you and only you
'Cause makin' love to just anyone ain't happenin'

Now he had piqued Fabiola's interest. "What's going on, Sefa?" She asked him.

Sefa got down on one bent knee, a black velvet box in the palm of his big hand. "Life is a beautiful journey, and I want to continue that journey with you by my side so will you marry me, Fabiola?" He asked her.

Fabiola gasped and covered her face with her hands as she looked down at the box that held a breathtaking diamond ring. She couldn't believe she was seeing or hearing, even though she did perfectly.

"Are you sure?" She asked him as she widened her eyes in surprise.

"I want to spend the rest of my life making you smile," He answered.

Her heart scurried in her chest with the realization that he was serious. Very serious. He wanted to marry her.

Fabiola nodded. "Yes, I'll marry you," She told him.

A sweet smile was plastered on her face as he slipped the ring on her finger. He stood up and picked her up, twirling her around as they both laughed.

"Thank you, baby, I promise to be there when you need me, to fill your days with sunshine, to comfort you and encourage you," He said.

"You are my always and forever, my happily ever after, my soulmate, my best friend," She said.

"Congratulations!" Everyone cheered as fireworks went off in the background.

"Where did the fireworks come from?" She asked him.

"I know a guy," He answered.

"You want to get married in two months," Fabiola repeated in shocked at what just came out of Sefa's mouth.

"Yeah, 5.24.24," Sefa said.

Fabiola was confused. "Don't you work that day?" Fabiola asked him.

"I was thinking we could do it as the cloak strikes twelve then I head to work," Sefa explained.

Fabiola shakes her head. "Please tell me you're joking," Fabiola said.

Sefa chuckled. "Partially joking but I want to get married in May though," Sefa said.

Fabiola was panicked how was she supposed to plan a wedding in barely two months? "Why do you want to get married so soon?" Fabiola asked him.

"Things are going to be hectic for me with work plus I can't wait to be your husband, like I would be crazy to have a long engagement with you, I want you to be Mrs. Fatu as soon as possible," Sefa explained to her.

Fabiola nodded. Of course, she knows that she has to work with him and plan this wedding around his schedule. She was ready to be Mrs. Fatu.

"Okay, I'll plan this wedding in two months," Fabiola said.

Sefa smiled. "I can't wait," Sefa said.
