Aubrey and Joshua's relationship goes way back. From meeting for the first time at Fabiola's house when Sefa and Fabiola first started dating. But they weren't close. Not like how they are now.

The duo, who live in the same gated community, have been spotted out together on numerous occasions including when Aubrey first confronted Joshua about his feelings for Fabiola. Joshua would take up Aubrey's offer to get up under someone else. They found out that they had a lot in common.

Joshua and Aubrey discovered that their kids attend the same schools and knew each other from after-school activities. Trinity joked that they were fated to be a couple. Sefa felt that Joshua was the kind of guy that Aubrey needed in her life.

Since the pair both live in the same area, they set playdates for their children and they would casually get together sometimes. Joshua had a crush on her and they were flirtatious, but nothing ever happened until Joshua started dropping several flirty comments beneath Aubrey's Instagram posts.

Aubrey boldly told Joshua that she didn't need another man wasting her time so if he wasn't going to make a move then he should stop flirting with her. Joshua later asked her out on a date.

A week later, Joshua introduced Aubrey to the rest of his family during a trip to San Francisco. Talisua immediately claimed Aubrey as her daughter-in-law. She was happy that all her children were finally in good and happy relationships.

Four months later, the couple became Instagram official. The pair both posted a photo of Aubrey's feet on Joshua's lap, confirming their relationship.

Joshua and Aubrey are so smitten with each other, and everyone around them loves them as a couple including their children, who have already started referring to each other as siblings.

Their friends think they will absolutely get engaged soon. They just didn't realize how right they were.

Joshua had been planning since their third month anniversary to propose to Aubrey. He didn't want to scare her off so he waited for her to be ready for a more serious relationship with him.

Recently, Joshua felt that Aubrey was ready and he was going to propose sooner rather than later.

Aubrey walks down the stair, smiling as Joshua looks at her lovingly.

"Hey, baby," Aubrey said as she went towards him and gave him a long kiss.

"Hey, güzelim [my beautiful]," Joshua said as they both look at each other, lovely.

Joshua suddenly picked her up and started twirling her around.

"Aşkım [my love] stop," Aubrey said while chuckling.

Joshua smiled.

"My Turkish has gotten better," Joshua tells her.

"That's because you have an amazing teacher," Aubrey said.

Joshua nods.

"Yes, you do, and tatlım [my sweety] you are looking gorgeous," Joshua said and pecked her lips multiple times.

Aubrey smiled at his statement.

"Thank you," She said as she twirled for him.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked her.

"Yes, I'm ready," She answered.

He smiled and took her hand, they left the house and went to the car. Joshua and Aubrey were having dinner with Joshua's brothers, cousins, and their friends to celebrate some recent business achievements among the group.

Throughout the drive to the restaurant, Joshua and Aubrey talked about their busy schedules and their upcoming family vacation to Turkey. Aubrey wanted Joshua to meet her family who still lives in Turkey. Aubrey was of Guianan, Turkish, and Armenian descent.

They arrived at the restaurant. Joshua parked the car and they got out, walking towards the entrance.

Since it was a private dinnerand no one was there except them, the hostess already knew who they were here for and let them walk in without leading them to the large table where their guests were sitting.

"The lovebirds are finally here," Galina said, getting up to hug Aubrey and Joshua. "You guys are the last ones to arrive," She added.

"Hi, Galina, you look so pretty," Aubrey said as she hugged her.

"Thank you, you're glowing," Galina said before she hugged Joshua. "You look handsome, Josh," She told him.

"Thanks to Aubrey," Joshua said.

Aubrey blushed.

"Awe, look at her, blushing anytime he mentions her," Fabiola teased Aubrey.

"Stop teasing her," Sefa told Fabiola, before looking over at Joshua. "I'm glad my brother has the Fatu charm," Sefa said with a wink.

"And I got the rizz too," Joshua said, smirking.

The couples talked, ate their dinner, and made plans to hang out with the kids. Everything was just so perfect and relaxing. Aubrey hadn't felt this happy in years and Joshua was responsible for it.

They were holding each other hands, talking and eating and enjoying their night out.

Fabiola leaned over to Aubrey and whispered in her ear.

"He's the one," Fabiola told her.

Aubrey nods.

"I know," Aubrey said as she sent her a wink.

After they were done eating, the group called it a night. Joshua took her hand and they both stood up from their seats.

"We'll see you guys soon," Joshua said.

As the group left the restaurant, Aubrey felt the uneasy sense of being watched. Glancing around the parking lot, her gaze fell upon a couple standing by their car who were staring at her intently.

Gripping Joshua's hand tightly, Aubrey's face showed fear when he glanced at her with a frown. Before he could ask what was wrong, Fabiola was standing beside Aubrey, telling her to go ahead to the car. Focused on Aubrey's stepsister, Fabiola suddenly charged toward the couple, yelling as she ran.

"What the fuck?" Joshua asked in shock as Aubrey kicked off her shoes and took off after Fabiola.

"Yoo! They're about to fight that girl!" Jon exclaimed.

In shock, everyone watched as Aubrey and Fabiola jumped on the girl, tackling her to the ground and started punching her.

"Shit, that's Aubrey's baby daddy and her stepsister," Sefa said.

"What?" Joshua snapped his head over to look at Sefa who handed Trinity all of Fabiola's things.

Joshua ain't never seen Aubrey's baby daddy before nor her stepsister but he heard stories about how badly they both treated Aubrey including having sex while Aubrey was giving birth to her youngest daughter. Fabiola caught them and ever since then it's been bad blood. Joshua didn't realize how much bad blood was between them until now. He stood frozen as Aubrey pounded the girl's head into the concrete road while cursing her out.

"Josh, don't just stand there, get your girl!" Joe screamed.

"I think she should get a few more hits in," Joshua said.

Jon and Joe looked at Joshua like he was crazy. But then Joshua walked up on the fighting girls as Aubrey's baby daddy tried to yank Aubrey off of his girl.

"Ayo! Aye! Get your hands off of her!" Joshua yelled.

"What the fuck are you going to do?" Aubrey's baby daddy asked as he looked over at Joshua, smirking.

"Fool, I will lay your ass out," Joshua said as he towered over the guy.

"What's up?" He asked Joshua, putting his set up.

Without thinking twice about it, Joshua swung and connected, making the guy stagger back a bit while holding his jaw.

Joshua and Aubrey's baby daddy went back and forth, going blow for blow but Joshua had the stamina and the power, beating him up before Joshus tackled him to the ground.

Now the rest of the group was trying to break up two fights. Well not Jon, he was helping his twin beat up the guy. Nobody puts their hands on his twin in his presence and gets away with it. Joe was pulling Joshua off the guy but low-key kicking him while he was on the ground.

"Josh, that's enough," Joe said, while he stepped on the guy's hand.

Once they managed to stop the girls' fight. Everyone was now trying to stop Joshua from killing Aubrey's baby daddy.

"Joshua!" Aubrey yelled out trying to grab his arm and pull him off of the guy.

Aubrey got a few licks in but she knew she had to get Joshua to calm down or else, everyone was going to jail tonight. "Joshua, you got him, calm down!" Aubrey yelled.

"Nah, that fuck boy got me fucked up," Joshua said as he swung on him again.

"Enough, Josh!" Joe said before he managed to put him in a headlock like how he used to do when they were kids.

"Stay the fuck away from her and her kids!" Joshua spit at the guy, while struggling to get out of Joe's hold.

Joshua stopped struggling and locked eyes with Aubrey. "Baby, you good?" Joshua asked her.

Aubrey nodded, eyes wet with unshed tears. "I'm good, are you good?" Aubrey asked him.

"Yeah, I'm good, let's go," Joshua answered before looking at Joe. "You can let me go now," He told him.

Joe huffed but let Joshua go. "I think we need to get out of here before someone calls the cops," Joe told the group.

"My crew, we out!" Jon exclaimed.

Aubrey gently placing a hand on Joshua's shoulder, guiding him to the car.

"I'm taking your ass to court, Aubrey! You got these crazy niggas around my kids! Your ass is done by the time I'm done with you!" Aubrey's baby daddy yelled.

"Fuck you, Lance!" Aubrey yelled, sticking a middle finger at him.

"Fuck you too bitch!" Lance yelled back.

It took everything in Joshua not to turn around and get in Lance's face. But he knew his family needed to get out of here. They have been through enough with the police.

Sefa stared at Lance. Fabiola saw the look on his face and tried to grab him but she failed.

"No!" Fabiola yelped as Sefa shrugged, before knocking Lance out.

Fabiola sighed and placed a hand on her forehead.

"Girl, what you stressed out for? You were the first one to swing on someone," Sefa told Fabiola.

"I think my Gucci shoes are done for good now," Trinity said as she looked down at her broken heel.

"How the fuck that happened?" Jon asked his wife.

"When I tried to grab Fabiola, she threw me against the car," Trinity answered.

"I told you that Haitian strength ain't nothing to play with," Jon said, shaking his head.

"She knocked the Mario coins out of her," Trinity said.

Everyone laughed before getting in their cars.
