Chapter Eleven

beautybyfabiola 21h

Fabiola and Sefa were overjoyed to begin the process of legally cementing their lifelong commitment to one another.

The happy couple went down to the local courthouse to apply for their marriage license, eagerly counting down the days until they could officially be declared husband and wife.

Their intimate island wedding was planned for the following month when they would stand on the beach with toes in the sand and promise their lives to each other.

They chose a tropical destination wedding because they both felt a deep connection to the ocean and wanted their special day to reflect the tranquility and beauty of island life.

However, they knew many close friends and family members would be unable to make the long, expensive trip.

Though disappointed that some loved ones wouldn't be able to celebrate with them in person, Fabiola and Sefa understood and wanted to make sure everyone could take part in commemorating their joyous union in some way.

So the thoughtful couple decided to hold an early wedding reception at home before jetting off to their wedding locale.

That way all their friends and family could come together to support them, offer blessings, and toast their future happiness, even if they couldn't all be present on the actual wedding day.

The reception allowed Fabiola and Sefa to share their excitement with everyone important in their lives as they prepared to embark on this amazing new chapter together.

Fabiola and Kettie were sitting together as the wedding reception continues when Kettie made an insensitive comment about Fabiola's recent weight gain.

Fabiola was taken aback, glaring at her younger sister as she asked defensively, "So you think I'm fat?"

Kettie bluntly responded that she didn't think Fabiola was fat, but that she had noticed her sister had gained a few pounds lately.

Fabiola appeared dumbfounded that Kettie would make such a blunt admission about her body, asking when exactly Kettie thought she had started gaining weight.

Kettie flippantly blamed it on Fabiola's recent trip to Philadelphia with Sefa, though she then backtracked and claimed gaining a little weight wasn't a bad thing.

Fabiola, clearly still bothered by the unsolicited comments about her body, rolled her eyes and fired back exasperatedly, "I know I'm bigger, what do you want me to do?"

Overhearing the tense exchange, Amerosa intervened and asked Fabiola to dance, allowing her to gracefully exit the conversation.

As Amerosa and Fabiola swayed to the music, Amerosa could sense her cousin was still preoccupied by Kettie's hurtful remarks.

In an effort to reassure her, Amerosa kindly told Fabiola "You look good." Fabiola managed a small smile in return, seeking validation by asking "You don't think I'm fat?"

Amerosa's invitation to dance had provided a polite escape from the uncomfortable conversation, but Kettie's criticism had clearly stung Fabiola's self-esteem.

"No, you're in the best shape of your life. I know your man loves your body so don't worry about it," Amerosa said.

"Thanks," Fabiola said.

Sefa interrupts Amerosa and Fabiola's dance on the reception hall floor. "Can I steal my wife from you?" Sefa asks Amerosa with a charming grin.

Amerosa nods graciously, replying "Cheer her up" as she relinquishes Fabiola into Sefa's tender embrace.

Sefa raises a concerned eyebrow at Fabiola's somber expression, asking "What's wrong?"

Fabiola sighs heavily, confiding that Kettie had cruelly remarked she looked as if she had gained weight and would appear fat in her wedding dress.

Sefa's protective instincts flare, and he leads Fabiola away from the crowded reception to a private bathroom where they can talk.

Locking the door, Sefa stands before the mirror with Fabiola. "What do you see?" he asks, hoping to uplift her self-image.

Fabiola seems confused, questioning his motives. Sefa explains earnestly that he wants his gorgeous wife to recognize her beauty and perfection, regardless of others' petty comments.

To prove his sincerity, Sefa compliments Fabiola's fuller figure, caressing her backside appreciatively. Fabiola giggles at his flirtation, comforted by his reassurance.

Sefa licks his lips hungrily, asking if she wears underwear beneath her dress. "No," Fabiola admits with a coy bite of her lip.

Sefa smirks roguishly. "They won't miss us," he declares, before passionately ravishing Fabiola against the bathroom mirror.

Their love drowns out the noise of the reception hall, the only sounds their fevered moans of pleasure.
