Writer's Pov

Nandini reaches the hospital..She gets down from the auto and wipes her tears and makes her way to the receptionist...

Nandini- "Mr Dhruv Vedant..."

Receptionist - " Mam Room Number 125 ... 4th floor "

Nandini climbs the stairs and reaches the fourth floor and finds Dhruv unconscious in his room...He is being shifted to ICU..

She goes to Dhruv's mom..and she hugs Nandini while crying...

Nandini-" Aunty aapne mujhe call kiya  but yeh sab kese hua aunty...?"

Dhruv's mom- " Pata nahi uparwala kya chahta hai...major accident hua hai... Bas Nandini woh thik toh ho jayega na...?"

Nandini-"Of course aunty thik ho jayega..you don't worry..."

Meanwhile Navya comes and sees Nandini here...She finds something is wrong... She takes Nandini to a corner..

Navya- "Nandu tu thik toh hai na..."

Nandini-"Haa Navya woh Dhruv ke liye sad hu ...."

Navya-"Hmm Major accident tha...Doctors ne kaha glass pieces pierced his back.. Operation karege..and leg bhi toot gaya"

Nandini-"Yeh sab kese hua..?"

Navya-"Pata nahi...a truck hit him..."

Nandini- "Bas woh thik ho jaye..."

And Nandini starts crying for her best friend...

Navya-" Nandini mujhe lagta hai tumhe ghar jana chaiye..."

Nandini- "But Dhruv he needs me..."

Navya- "Filhal aunty hai uske sath...But I think you need rest...chalo mai bhi tumhare saath chalti hu..."

Navya could easily feel something wrong happened so she convinces Nandini to go back home.

Nandini comes back home with Navya...her parents are not at home...she quickly runs upstairs to her room and locks her from inside...

Navya runs from behind...and asks her to open the door... But Nandini doesn't pay heed to her...

She is wailing loudly... screaming hysterically...

Navya bangs the door hard... She tries every possible means to break the door but fails in her attempts..she prays to her Mata Rani that Nandini shouldn't harm herself...

After one hour Nandini opens the door...

Navya comes running to her and takes her in a bone crushing hug...

Tears well up in Nandini's doe eyes...

Navya-" Nandu kya baat hai...mujhe nahi bataogi..?"

Nandini- ( While sobbing) "Mera pehla pyar adhura reh gaya .... MERI DIL KI BAATEIN ANKAHEE REH GAYI..."

Navya is shocked to hear that... Nandini says her everything and Navya tries her best to console Nandini...

Nandini's hiccups don't stop...Navya stays with her whole night to console her heart broken friend...

Cabir calls Manik...But the call is unreachable... He tries a few more times and its ringing but even after making ten calls Manik doesn't answer ... This makes Cabir hell worried for Manik...

He knows the venue of Manik's official date... So he drives to the location...

He enters and what he sees shocks him to the core...

There's fire blazing all around...Black smoke can be seen rising...

He shouts "Manikkkkkkkk....!!" but gets no anwer..

Then in the middle of smoke he finds Manik lying unconscious in a pool of blood...

It takes him no time to understand what's the situation..

He carries Manik in his arms and quickly drives off to the hospital...

Next Day

Manik is lying on the hospital bed... He wakes up and calls out

"Nandini....."

Cabir comes in after hearing him Calling Nandini...

Cabir- "Manik tu thik hai na..."

Manik-" Aah..my hand... Cabir Main yaha kya kar raha hu? Nandini kaha hain..?"

Cabir-" Tu unconscious tha and you had slit your wrist..."

Manik-" Oh yeah I remember...."

Cabir-" Hua kya tha..? "

And Manik narrates the whole incident...

Cabir- "Oh God yeh kya ho gaya..."

Manik ( With tears in his eyes) - "Mera pehla pyar adhura reh gaya.. MERI DIL KI BAATEIN ANKAHEE REH GAYI"

Cabir-"Nandini aesa kese kar sakti hai....How could she give importance to Dhruv...Manik pls tu sambhal khud ko..."

Manik- "I will never forgive her..I hate her..."

Just then Mukti enters..

Mukti- " Bhai suna aapne Nandini has resigned from SPACE..."

Manik and Cabir (together) - "Whatttttt?"

Mukti- "Yes abhi abhi I was coming from college..Jab mene Princi and Neyonika ko suna baat karte huye..."

Manik- "Oh shit ....I need to leave..."

Cabir-" What...is condition mein kaha ja raha hai tu..?"

Manik- "Mujhe Nandini ke pas jana hoga..."

Mukti--" But bhai you're not well...Nandini se aap baad mein mil lena .."

Manik- "No Mukku I have to leave...woh kahi chali na jaye..."

Cabir-"Manik abhi you said you hate her toh jane de na use..."

Manik-"No aese nahi jane de sakta main use..."

Cabir-"Are you sure hate her...?"

Manik-"Yes of course I am sure I hate her...Chal jyada baatein mat kar.. we've to leave now..."

Mukti- "But bhai sham hone wali hai...kahan dhundhoge ap use..."

Manik- "I don't know how..But I have to...Cabir tu chal raha hai na..."

Cabir nods and he  already understood that Manik still Loves Nandini no matter what... and though  he pretends to hate her he actually cannot hate her... after all its first love...

They leave the hospital...

Manik and Cabir goes straight to Nandini's house... He hurriedly rings the door bell... but no one answers... and then he notice a big lock hanging...His brow cringes further in anger and frustration... Manik asks a neighbour who says that Mr Murthy told they are shifting to another house ...He gives the address to Manik...

Manik and Cabir reaches the said address but all in vain...The  people inform them that no one stayed here since two years... Manik is heartbroken now... He is lost... Cabir asks him to search for her in railway station and bus stand....

Both search for Nandini but no use...now only thing left is airport... It's evening they rush to the airport...Manik seems restless... His eyes portray a mix of anger and love... It seems his heart is not yet ready to bid her goodbye..but his mind wants to forget her...

Cabir goes in search of Nandini to one side of airport .... and Manik to other side ..in hurry he bumps into a lady who in turn showers him with rain of abuses..to which Manik mumbles a sorry...Now the past starts roaming in his eyes...blinding his eyes with fresh tears...

Manik is lost in the abyss of his invincible pain... Every moment spent with Nandini flashes in his mind... right from the day his eyes met her in the corridor... to the time when he is about to propose her...till this time his eyes speak of love but the break up scene fills his eyes with disgust and anger ...

Ho.. ho...

Alvida alvida alvida..
Kyun socha aur kaha alvida..

Lo un baahon ko, thandhi chhaon ko
Hum bhi kar chale alvida

They search every nook and corner of the airport but there's no sign of Nandini and her family... Cabir takes Manik out of the airport...

But Manik breaks down...He kneels down on the floor with his eyes fixed on the ground... Millions of tears  blur his vision...  He looks up at the night sky and watches the stars in distress.... it seems he is asking them why always he jas to suffer....first his mom left and now his first love left him alone forever... His mind seems to bid farewell to Nandini..... but his heart  seems to shed those precious drops in silence...

At last finally Manik  with tears in his eyes gives out a loud heart wrenching cry

"Nandiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

Author's Note

Hello Readers  first of all I would like to thank each and every reader of ANKAHEE including Silent ones for making my first story a huge success... I am glad you all supported me throughout this journey ...and I hope you all will support me in future too...Do give a reading to my other stories as well..

So here comes the end of my First ever creation Ankahee..... Yes now you will think what kind of ending is this... So i am gonna say that THIS IS NOT THE END... yes  you heard it right .....

PICTURE ABHI BAKI HAI MERE DOST...😁 ANKAHEE ENDS HERE BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF MANAN'S BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY.....

Yes now you must be thinking... what's the writer talking about... First she is giving shock by ending it so soon and now she is doing round about talks...

Okay now  I'll  clear all your confusion... I am planning a SEQUEL to ANKAHEE...  So this story has ended but now the SEQUEL will be a continuation of ANKAHEE... So another beautiful Manan journey is about to begin... Do you guys want a SEQUEL ....??? Reply in comments...
