Manik's pov

"Nandini.....what are you doing..?? Just stop  there...I said stop .... don't move....!!!"

I shouted at the top of my voice... and ran towards her...

Few minutes before

Nandini- "Aiyappa...I am so thirsty...Yeh Manik ne drinks ki arrangement nahi kiya kya..? "

Navya- " Kya hua Nandu....?"

Nandini - "Woh..I am thirsty Navya..."

Navya- "See waha bar hai...waha jao..."

Nandini- "Thank you...now byee..."

Nandini paced towards the bar... A waiter was coming towards her ( The same waiter who was bribed by the boy)

Nandini- " Bhaiya..kuch peene ko milega..?"

Waiter -"Yes madam..yeh rahi fresh juice apke liye..."

Nandini - " Thanks" and she gulped down the juice... "Wow it's yummy...ek or milegi kya?"

Waiter - "Sure madam..."

And she gulped down another glass down her throat...

The waiter left giving a thumbs up to the boy...

Nandini was walking down the hall and the juice had already started its action... She was searching for Manik and accidentally bumped into Dhruv... Dhruv was taking a drink from the same waiter... and it was exactly at that moment Nandini bumped into him spilling the liquid over his kurta...

Nandini-"Ooops...Sorry Dhruv...woh I just ...."

Dhruv- "It's ok Nandu... don't be sorry.. hota hai kabhi kabhi aesa bhi....just relax...Main ise saaf kar ke aata hun..."

Nandini- "Okay...byeee..."

Meanwhile the boy murmured "Shit yaar...plan flopped...Kuch aur sochna padhega...." and he left the place gritting his teeth...

On the other hand... Mukti and Cabir were enjoying their drinks when Manik came in...

Manik- "Nandini ko dekha..?"

Cabir - "Kya Manik..kabhi hamare bare mein soch liya kar...."

Manik- "Shut up Cabir....arey woh  performance ke baad nahi dikh rahi hai.. She's new at this place...so I was just a lil worried ...."

Mukti -"Bhai... don't worry.. she'll be fine..yehi kahi hogi woh ...."

Cabir- "Chal ab smile kar..and  have this" ( Pointing towards the drink)

Manik- " No yaar not alcohol..."

Cabir ( Raising his brows) -" Really kab se...??"

Manik - "Yaar abhi mood nahi hai..."

Mukti - "Come on bhai...ek drink hi toh hai ..just one shot please...please..." She made a puppy face...

Manik - " Fine tu keh rahi hai isliye "

Mukti - "Awww love you bhai..." and she side hugged Manik

Manik drank the drink at one go...

Cabir - " Ek Aur please... Diwali hai..ek aur haan..."

Manik- "  Cabir...no...."

And Cabir made him drink forcefully...

Now Manik was not in a mood..so he left towards the lawn...

He was walking there when he saw someone standing on the concrete balusters of the balcony of his room...

And it was none other than Nandini....

Manik thought to himself that he has just two shots so he can't be drunk..Still he sprinted his eyes to get a clear vision of the scene...And to his astonishment  he wasn't hallucinating... Nandini was actually standing on the concrete balusters ready to jump anytime...

He yelled but given the distance she couldn't hear ... He ran up the stairs to his room...

Manik's pov

I ran upstairs without wasting a moment... The thought of her getting hurt gave me goosebumps.. I reached my room within a few minutes.. Thank god she didn't jump...

"Nandini.....what are you doing..?? Just stop  there...I said stop .... don't move...."

I shouted at the top of my voice... and ran towards her...

She was about to fall when I pulled her towards me and we landed straight on the marble layered floor with Nandini on the top...

Her silky hair brushed my face... Her eyes spoke that she was completely shocked at the sudden pull... I tucked in some hair behind her ear and she stared at me spellbound...

"Manikkkkk....kyun kheecha tumne mujhe....??

Her cute voice brought me from the la la land ..

"Kheecha matlab...if I wouldn't have pulled you, you would have fallen down by now...??"

"Naiiii....jhuth bol rahe ho tum.... tumne mujhe kyun roka..?"

"Roka..??? Kya karne se roka maine..?"

"You stopped me from collecting stars.."

And she gave me an angry pout...

"What stars..? Like seriously tum yaha concrete balusters par khade hokar you were collecting stars...?"

"Hai na mind blowing idea Manik Malhtotra... "  she gave a wide toothed smile...

"Yeah... awesome... mind blowing idea..Nandini...Why didn't I try it..?" I said annoyingly

"Because tum bewakoof ho..."

And she started laughing

"Main bewakoof hu.. like seriously kuch bhi"

"Manik is a fool..!! Manik is a fool...!! Manik is a fool...!!"

She started blabbering  and laughing simultaneously

I had never seen her laugh like this before... She looked damn cute and beautiful 😍

"Wait a minute...Are you drunk..?"

"Drunk....nooooooo...neverrrrrr...Tumhe Pata naii hai..Nandini Murthy drinks ko hath tak nahi lagati...? "

"Acha... toh kya piya tha na tumne abhi..?"

"Oooo wohh...woh maine yum yum juice piya...It was sooooooooooooo yummy.... Maine aesi juice kabhi piya hi nahi hai..."

I think someone has spiked her drink...

"Manikkkk....suno na...Or thoda sa juice la do na...Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee "

"No way... how many did you have..?"

"Just two glass...I want to have two more..."

"Nandini... do kya ek bhi milegi...."

And she turned her face in anger...

"Chalo..ab niche chalo..."

"Nai.. tum bahut gande ho...mujhe nai jana..Manik Malhotra ke sath...."

"Shut up and chalo..."

"I have to collect stars...I won't gooooooo"

"Nandini...."

I caught hold of her hand... She shoved me away and sat on the floor...

"Nandini I said let's go.. you can collect stars even in the lawn....Is that clear...?"

"You can't boss me around every time....Har waqt dantna... you Monster Manik..."

"What did you say?"

"Monster Manik....!!!"

"Come again..."

"Monster,Monster,Monster Manik..."

I glared at her and was about to pull her up when she forcefully jerked my hand away...

"Waa....waa...waa..."

Uffff she started crying loudly throwing her hands and legs just like a four year old kid whose mother is  forcing to finish away the milk...

Seriously a kiddo!!!

"Nandini stop crying like a kid..."

"Main nai jaungi...." she said while sniffing...

"Nandini...maan jao..."

"Only on one condition..."

"Ab kya...?"

"Get me a ladder and we will climb down the ladder..from here" she said pointing towards the balcony

"No way... no ladder and all.."

"Tohhhh...mai bhi nahiiiii jaungiii monster Manik ke sath..."

"Okay fine..ab utho bhi..."

She got up finally😥

"Ladder kaha hain..?"

"Tum aese nahi manogi"

And I held her and put her on my back and she started screaming as if I am kidnapping her...

After a few minutes I put her down on the lush green grasses

She lied down and I lied beside her...

"Manik...this is cheating..."

"What..?"

"Manik is a Cheater...cheater ...cheater...!"

"Ho gaya...tumhara "

"Nai..hehehhehee..." and again she started laughing..

I think this is her first time that's why she can't control..

"Nandini..yeh batao..tum waha stars kyun collect karna chahti thi?"

"Hmm....Good question Manik Malhotra.."

"Ab bataogi..."

"Ummmm...Woh Manik I hate stars..."

"But why?"

"You know in stars ke wajah se I lost My grandpa...My grandpa was a scientist.. and because of these stars he died in an accident when a meteor fell on his car...I loved him so so so much...but these stars took him away from me" she spoke sadly

"Hmmmm... I can understand...it must be very disheartening...Still why did you want to collect them..?" I asked curiously

"For you"

She blurted looking at me...and I was taken aback by her sudden confession..

"What...?"

"Tumhe stars pasand hai na...isliye...maine socha when you can bring me fireflies then why can't I bring stars for you..."

And her words brought tears in my eyes...No one has ever done anything for me leave alone love...and here is this girl who hates stars but  wants to bring stars for me  just because I love stars...

What a pure soul Nandini is....!! 

I stared at her lovingly when she spoke

"But I'm angry with you...."

"Ab maine kya kiya....…?"

"Thodi der pehle tumne mujhe danta..." and she made a puppy face...

"Okay I am sorry Nandini ...."

"Aese nahi kaan pakad ke sorry bolo..."

I swear she's a drama queen..

"Okay.."

She got up and even I  got up, knelt down on my knees holding my ears and said

"I am sorry Nandini that I scolded you Please forgive me.."

And she gave a cute smile at my innocence

"Awww Manik you're looking so cute..I wanna pull your cheeks.."

"No...no Nandini..no pulling of cheeks..."

But will she ever listen to me and she pulled my cheeks harder giggling at intervals and I made a grumpy face

"Manik I wanna dance..."

"What ab yehi baki tha..."

"Please na Manik..."

And again she made a puppy face and how could I say no

"Okay...but yaha nahi..room mein..."

"Okay done but Manik main na ladder se hi tumhare room mein jaungi..."

And she gave me her million dollar smile

"What...uff Nandini's Aiyappa save me.."

"Kya bola tumne ...?"

"Kuch nahi"

"Manik..woh dekho ladder...chalo...na..."

Wow Nandini's Aiyappa you have arranged for a ladder too...I cursed the person who kept the ladder there.. But Now when drama queen has ordered me I have no choice left.

I kept the ladder under my balcony..and there Nandini started to climb.

"Manik tum mere peeche ao..."

"Yeah you go ahead"

I stroked my forehead.. What did I do that I have to face this day...?😥

"Manik...catch me if I fall "

I nodded ..her non stop bak bak continued...Yes once she tripped a step but why fear when Manik is here 😎

I brought her close to my chest and climbed up the ladder...Her sweet cologne filled my nostrils and it drove me crazy but I had to control myself...

And finally we reached my ordinary room through an extraordinary route😥

The moment we reached the top she started dancing like a crazy girl..Yeah she looked sexy..the kamarbandh and her sexy waistline flaunted her curves...

Nandini went inside my room... and threw her dupatta...

"Nandini yeh kya kar rahi ho tum..?"

"It's so hot Manik..I will change my lehenga..."

And there she attacked my wardrobe throwing my favourite outfits helter skelter.. She selected a light blue shirt that was enough to cover her small frame...

And she started opening the knots of her blouse..And I was like uff here its difficult to control myself and see this girl...She tried to untie the rest...but failed..I went near her... And brushed my fingers on her back.. feeling an irresistible desire.. gradually I  untied the knots..

Before she could make it more embarrassing I pushed her into the washroom..

She came out and I just gawked at her new costume.
The shirt ended on her mid thighs..and damn she looked hotttt...🔥🔥
I started strolling towards her...

Before I could touch her..she ran away from me...grabbed the magazine rolled it into a mic like shape..and climbed up the chair...and started lipsyncing a song... The next moment she grabbed my deodorant and more than applying on herself she filled the room with it choking my nostrils...

"Nandini...sit down na..."

"Na..nana..na..na..Manik I won't listen to you today....Today I won't let Monster Manik rule over me..."

And then another nautanki started with Nandini going round and round my bed....

"Manik..pakdo mujhe...come on Mr Manik Malhotra..."

And like tom I started running behind my jerry...

Wow what an energy she has...!! But I am Manik Malhotra... Finally I caught her..But then she pushed me and we both landed on the bed with me on the top...

My fingers traced her rosy cheeks....And my thumb caressed her pink lips...She looked straight into my eyes...and there wasn't a single moment when we didn't look away from each other...

I bent low and placed a kiss on her neck and she closed her eyes...I kissed her eyes, cheeks...and slowly moved towards her lips when she got up suddenly leaving me breathless..

"Nandini...bahut ho gaya..now stop it..."

"Mujhe aur dance karna hai..."

"No ..please bahut ho gaya"

And then she collapsed...

I scooped her in my arms and laid her on my bed covering her with the duvet...

I made lime water and tried to made her drink but she had fallen asleep...

I admired this sleeping beauty... And then dozed off lying beside her...
