Nandini's pov

After having the kadha I slept... When I woke up I saw Manik sitting in tge chair with his head down...He was still here....
"Manik..." I said

"Nandini...tum ..tum thik toh ho na...Tumhe kuch chaiye...?" Manik  woke up startled..

"No...Main kitni der soyi...?"

"Hmmm...3 hours... It's 4pm now..."

"We have to perform....at 6pm..."

"Will you be able to perform...I mean agar tum nhi kar sakti..Its absolutely fine...I will inform Nyonika..."

"No...Manik... It's our profession...I can't deny ....And mai thik hu...I will perform..."

"But.. tumhari fever...? "

"Kadha peene k baad main thik hu... A big Thanks to that person jisne kadha banaya mere liye.... "

I saw a smile on  Manik's face

"Kya hua...why are you smiling Manik.?"

"Nothing...so are you sure..you gonna perform..."

"Yup..100%...I am fine Manik..you don't worry..."

"Okay then I'll pick you up in an hour..."

"Okay...bye..."

Manik went away...And I got up n went to the kitchen  for having a glass of water...

"Oh my God...!!!!! "

"What the hell is this...."

I shouted seeing  kitchen in a messed up condition... Everything was scattered here and there ....I wondered who created this mess...

Near the stove I saw all kinds of spices and some basil leaves...

Ohh I see...the kadha was made here... But who made it? No one has come except Manik....

I saw some dried blood drops on the chopper board...

And now I was sure it was Manik...who made the kadha...I realized that's the reason he smiled when I thanked the person who made the kadha...

I can't believe...Manik..I guess he doesn't even know to cook....made kadha for me.... it's unbelievable ....Even after a cut he continued...Wow....

And he even wrapped the cold cloth on my forehead and stayed here until I was awake...Who would do so much for me...?

I mean no one has done so much for me except Amma n Appa ....

He's not a monster at all....

He wears a mask of monster...

Nandu...Manik is a pure soul....His heart is as pure as molten gold...😍😍

I was busy admiring the best qualities of Manik in my mind... My respect for him seemed to increase day by day....

Now I made up my mind to thank him...

Coming back to the reality as the kitchen was in a mess...I started cleaning it....

An hour later Manik came and we headed towards the college...

Manik's pov

I hurried towards the green room .... Traditional yet modern was the theme of our closing act...

                     Manik's look

I was  waiting for Nandini to come...

I was getting restless

"Sabr rakh aa jaegi woh.." said Cabir

"Hmmm...I hope she's fine...Mai jakar Dekhta hu..."

"Manik...chill.. she's fine...Aa jayegi...wait karo"

"Kk..."

"Woh dekh aa gyi teri Nandini"

I looked at the direction Cabir pointed...And what I saw couldn't be explained in words....
     

                   Nandini's look

"Wow what a colour coordination...Manna padhega boss...Ek duje ke liye" Cabir taunted

"Bilkul Cabir....kya kehna Manik aur Nandini ka..." added Navya

"Will you both shut up" I said

"Cabir & Navya... Tum log disturb kar rahe ho bhai ko...Arey let him see Nandini with full concentration na...So let's not disturb him" interfered Mukti

"Just shut up Mukku..."

"Okay Manik..you carry on..." and all the three finally cleared my way...still giggling at my back

I saw a cute lil fairy in  white top, maroon long skirt  & white stilettos coming towards me .... Her head adorned with a tiara and  curly locks loosely hanging until her waist... That metallic bracelet in one hand completed her traditional yet modern avatar..

"Gosh this girl...she will kill me with her looks someday.....how can she be so cute and beautiful at the same time.."

I saw her heading towards me with a bouquet in her hand...

Slowly and slowly she was putting her steps forward...and

She tripped...I ran to save her...But...

Before I could reach that Dhruv was there to help her...He was holding Nandini by her waist and his gaze was fix on her  ... This boiled my blood .... 😤

"Nandini...are you fine?" I asked and she came towards me

"Yeah...i am fine ...." She was a bit scared

"Dhruv...I think you should go..I need to talk to her...." I told Dhruv

"Okay...I am going....just relax... Nandini ko mere hote huye kuch nahi hoga"

"What the...." 😠😠 I was fuming in anger

Nandini interrupted by saying

"Dhruv tum jao... we have to rehearse..."

"Thank you Manik..." she changed the topic...

"Thanks for what..? You should  thank Dhruv who saved you from falling... And kya jarurat thi tumhe itni high heels pehenne ki when you can't pull it off...You deliberately wore na so that... someone hold you while you fall..." I couldn't control my anger and was talking all nonsense...

"What are you saying Manik...Why will I wear deliberately so that I fall on someone...... and I won't thank
Dhruv...I came to thank you not him"

"So why did you wear then....?"

"Woh tum kahan..mai kahan... that's why u know what I mean..." She was showing with one hand my height n hers with the other and all this while she couldn't make an eye  contact with me and was blushing as well.. And i laughed out loud seeing her..

"Ohhh...I see So Nandini Murthy tried to match up with me...But see you  still can't ...."

"Stop it Manik..." And she hid her face with the bouquet...

"Okay.. okay...but why this bouquet..?"

"It's for you... Thank you so much...mere liye itna kuch kiya tumne ...."

"What did I do..?"

"Don't act innocent..Now I know You made the kadha for me...and took so much care of me...and that's the reason I am here.... It's all because of your care I can stand on my feet and will be able to perform...So Thank you so much...for all that you did for me"

She handed the bouquet to me...

"Awwww...so you got to know...No need to thank... you're my..... I mean friend ho toh itna toh kar hi sakte hai...so you're welcome Miss Nandini Murthy..."

"Yeah Mr Manil Malhotra"

And we both started laughing whole heartedly .

Then there was announcement made by Mrs Nyonika for the act we were going to perform... 

Me and Nandini entered the stage....

(Manik will play the guitar and Nandini the veena...

(Curtains were raised and spotlight fixed on Manik ,seated on a stool, is busy strumming the guitar and the spotlight falling on  Nandini,who is sitting,starts playing her veena...Here using veena and tuning it along with the guitar is an innovation done by Nandini )

Spotlight criss cross on both Nandini  and Manik alternatively ...

{Both Manik and Nandini sing along with each other.... Never breaking an eye contact ....They both swayed along with the music.... Their never breaking eye contact is the icing on the cake😍😍}

And the magical performance in the closing ceremony ended with a big round of applause...

Finally MaNan performed after all sorts of disturbance.... So how's the chapter guys...? I wanna kill that Dhruv... Everywhere he steps in and what a wrong timing... Manik's anger was justified...But hats off to Nandini who always excels at pacifying Manik....
