And we started our journey ... Wese toh we always fought but today it was different...We were walking silently....  stealing glances...at times...Taking the lead finally i spoke

"Same here... So what's the plan?"

So the rest had already started and now we started our journey.... I swear there was an awkward silence... I couldn't frame in my mind how to start the convo...but Nandu she started..thank god... 🙏 but yaar she na behaves so stupid at times....I ll bring snacks like seriously.... 😬

"Manik cool down....no jhagda...okay..." requested Mr. Paglu Dil

We were crossing the bridge... Nature was at its best... river.. trees... hills....flora and fauna...just a perfect scenario...

"Manik...... see ...Manik see na.... " Nandini was nagging like a kid...

"Kya hua Nandini...? "

"Dekho na.. there's a beautiful river flowing under... Chalo na.. let's go there....waha chalte hai na.. please."

"Waha .... how will we reach there... Nandini? dekho kitna neeche hai woh river... "

Before i could complete my sentence.... she started running downwards.... and i had to follow her..no other way left... 😷 (poor Manik😂)

"Yeh dekho stairs.... dikha..? Nandini bina soche aese kuch nhi bolti... U know Einstein brain..." and i laughed at her self appraisal...

And there she reached the bank of the river...and seated herself on a rock.

"Manik come na... let's enjoy..."

"Manik can we be friends?"

"Haan...kya kaha tumne..?" I faked not listening to what she said

I found myself lost in her cute bak bak  and suddenly i felt it was raining... Gosh!!!!! It was not the sky that was pouring out it's love on us but it was our very own Nandini splashing water on me...😩

" What the.....?  Nandini kya kar rahi ho tum..? " I glared at her

"Ab meri baat nhi sunoge toh yehi hoga na..." And she laughed her heart out...

"Wait...just wait n watch... "

And we both started running after each other...

"Manik choro na..."

"Manik leave me.. please.."

"Nahi nahi.. u love pani na.. splashing water on ur frnds...so ab tumhe v pani mein bheegna hoga..."

We both were playing 'splashing- splashing' 💦💦and 'running-running' game....And ... and her laughter echoed in the surrounding hills....

"Manik...." she shouted all of a sudden... She was about to fall straight into the river but I caught hold her by her waist...

And we both got lost into each other's eyes.... for a few minutes .... 😍
