I enchant this (preferably jewelry) item to protect me from the spells of other animi. I cannot be harmed in any way by a spell other than my own. If a dragon comes within five tail-lengths of me, any spells designed to manipulate them unwillingly with malice will be removed.

Without this limitation, this would be considered casting a spell on other dragons or another animus's spells, which they may have protection against or may be morally wrong. The set limit should be enough to protect against an attack.
