Your POV:
It's a lazy Saturday, or I had hoped it to be. I found my best friend, Viktor, at 10 am in front of my door. Too early for me on a weekend.
Viktor is holding two pairs of skates in front of me with a puppy look.
"(Y/N)!" His smile represents a heart like most of the time, "Let's go ice skating!"
I close the door on him, as it was early in the morning. Then I feel the quilt crawling up my back. I walk back to the door and open it again. When I open it, I find Viktor sulking in the hallway's corner.
"Gah!" I rush over to him, "I'm sorry, Viktor!"
He sniffles a little bit and gives me a pouty look.
"I just wanted to ice skate with (Y/N)," he mumbles and I instantly feel bad.
"A-And we will!" I stutter, not thinking that this would ruin my lazy Saturday, "Just give me some time to get ready."
Some people were staring at Viktor, saying that he looked familiar. Viktor was already a world-famous skater and now coach so it's a bit surprising that people don't recognize him, especially here in Russia.
"Let's get you inside before any paparazzi find out you're here," I yank at Viktor's arm in haste to pull him up.
He nods in response and we scurry into my apartment.
"Don't go into my room," I show a stern look on my face, "The bathroom is to the left of the kitchen and you can do anything here as long as you don't break anything."
"Okay," he plops down on the couch and grabs the TV remote.
I step over to my room and get dressed. I just choose warm clothing and fix my hair a little.
When I come back, I find Viktor in his usual position. Legs lying on the rest of the couch, hugging a pillow.
"Did you have breakfast?" I ask him, going over to my pantry to find cereal.
"No," he doesn't move from his spot and I sigh in response.
"You should eat something before you go somewhere," I scold him, but not too harshly, "is cereal okay with you?"
He lets out a 'hmmm' noise, and I assume he's fine with it. I find two bowls from the cabinet and get the milk and box of cereal.
I prepare the cereal for both Viktor and me. When I finish, I place the bowls on the table and I go back to the living room.
"Viktor," I call out to him and obtain his attention, "Breakfast's done!"
He bounces off the couch, literally, and comes rushing to me.
"Whoa!" I laugh a little, "Calm down! Here, your cereal."
I hand it over to him and he almost drops the bowl. We both sit at my table, facing one another.
"So, (Y/N)," he gives me his usual smile, "You excited?"
"To fall on my butt," I retort sarcastically and he chuckles warmly in response.
"With me and my excellent coaching skills, you won't," he says confidently.
"We'll see about that," I roll my eyes and we continue to talk, chewing on our cereal.

I grab both of our now finished bowls and wash them carefully in the sink.
"Come on, (Y/N)," he urges me to pick up the pace, "I want to go ice skating already!"
"Hold on," I leave the dishes to dry and wipe my hands with a paper towel.
I snag my coat from the hook and put it on. I soon notice one tiny flaw in Viktor's plan.
"Hey, Viktor?" I ask him while pushing my foot into one of my boots, "Will anyone else be there at the rink?"
"No, I reserved the rink just for us!" he smiles and opens the door for me.
"Thanks," I mumble and walk out of said. Pulling out my keys, I lock the door.
Viktor cooly walks in front of me, the bag with skates inside slung over his shoulder. He waves to people here and there. Some people had noticed who he was but didn't want to bother him.
I recall what Viktor had told me before.
"No, I reserved the rink just for us!"
Wait, if he reserved it just for us, wouldn't that mean we would be alone? Not that this would be the first time, but it feels different.
Viktor isn't only my best friend, he is my longtime crush. I don't remember how or when feelings had blossomed for the silver-haired man, they just came to me. Not that I regret it.
As I was recollecting, I was lagging behind. Viktor notices how far I'm behind and stops in his tracks.
"(Y/N)!" He playfully shouts, "Come on, don't be a slowpoke!"
"H-Hey!" I jog up to him and blush out of embarrassment.
"Hm?" He stares at my face, making my blush intensify, "Are you blushing?"
I can feel my cheeks almost glow up with a faint red. Don't ask how. I just can.
"N-No!" I deny the previous statement.
Viktor gives me a strange look but shrugs it off. I try to cool down my face, but all my attempts fail.
We reach down to the lobby and go through the revolving doors. The sun blinds me straight in the eye and I wince. I shield my eyes and follow Viktor.
"Are we going by foot?" I ask him.
"Yeah, you won't mind, right?" Viktor responds and looks back, "If your feet get too tired, I can always carry you!"
My cheeks flare up again, "No thanks."
He pouts a little and continues on walking. Hopefully, the arising blush can be misunderstood from the cold.
I jog a little to match Viktor's pace. After finally catching up to him, the silent atmosphere was almost suffocating me.
What should we talk about?
"How far is the rink?" I try to break the ice.
"Maybe less than three blocks?"
He doesn't sound sure himself. The silence comes back.
Sigh, this might as well be the rest of the trip. I look up to see Viktor's expression.
He had a very giddy look on his face but contained. There was a slight blush but it must be from the cold. It is close to freezing point.
"How's Katsuki?" I try to revive the conversation.
"Oh, he's doing alright," he responds, "Did you hear what happened in the Grand Prix party?"
"No, tell me!"
"So this happened..."
♛♚♛
"Again!?" I burst out into laughter as he does the same.
"Yep!" He smiles and then stops at the double doors of the rink, "We're here!"
I step inside after him and just as he had said, there was no one there. Full of excitement, I skip after Viktor.
Viktor sits at one of the benches and I join him. He unzips his bag and digs inside.
"Here, (Y/N)!" He pulls out a vibrant (F/C) pair of skates with white laces, "Just your size."
"How pretty!" I gladly take them from him until I realize that I have no clue how to tie these.
"Need some help?" He asks me.
"Please," I smile sheepishly.
He comes towards me. He takes the skates from me and goes on one knee.
He carefully slides one on my foot and proceeds to tie the laces. I space out.
"(Y/N)," Viktor calls out to me.
"Yeah?" I snap out of one of my trance.
"Can I have your other foot?"
The ice skate was tied securely on my foot, just a little too tight.
"Sorry if it's too tight," he gives me an apologetic smile, "It needs to be tight that way you can have good balance."
"Oh, it's fine," I understand and push my foot into the skate.
Viktor then knots the laces together and all I can do is just stare.
Even if I can only see the top of his head, it's still interesting. Viktor's head snaps up at my gazing eyes. I flinch and try to look away as fast as possible.
Shoot, he must think I'm a creep!
I glance to see his reaction. He has a closed eye smile.
"Let me just go get my skates on and we'll head on inside the rink," he searches through the bag he was carrying, "Try and balance yourself walking on the ground here."
"Okay."
I cautiously get up from the seat. I manage to stand up correctly.
I give a confident look and waddle down the pathways by the rink.
I stumble a little but manage to keep balance. Thinking that I'm a little far from Viktor, I shuffle back to the spot we were before.
I arrive back to the bench to find no silver-haired man at the bench. I look both ways to try and locate him.
Suddenly, my vision blacks out. Slight cold hands are placed on my eyes. I start to freak out.
"Who the hell are you!?" I start to thrash about, "Let me go!?"
"Whoa, calm down!" A familiar voice comes from behind me, "It's me, Viktor!"
I suddenly stop and Viktor takes his hands off me. I turn around and smack him in the arm.
"Don't scare me like that!" I scold him.
"Haha, sorry," he rubs his arm, "Let's go inside the rink now."
I nod and follow him. However, he grabs ahold of my hand to help guide me.
"Hold on to me," he turns his back to me while keeping a firm grip on me.
My cheeks flush the same crimson red yet again.
This is the third time today! Is something wrong with me? Gee, I hope my hand isn't too sweaty.
We walk hand in hand to the opening.
"Okay, hold on to the wall here," he steps into the rink with ease and points to the clear wall, surrounding the ice rink.
I step in while holding the edge, thinking that it's easy.
Oh boy, it was not easy. My feet start to slip all over the place and Viktor chuckles.
"Okay, push yourself along the wall for a few minutes (this is what i did and it was amazing 😂) like this," he glides over the to the wall.
His hands latch on to the edge and literally pushes himself forward. It looks fun.
I somewhat skate over to the edge and then push along. I grow a little more confidence each push and go faster.
"Hehe," I smile gleefully and then go at a much faster pace, "WHEEEEEE!"
Viktor skate after me, chuckling in a warm manner. Because I went too fast, I lose my balance and slip. I fall on my back and just lay there as Viktor laughs.
"Are you okay, (Y/N)?" He manages to say from all of his laughter.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I grumble and just stay there.
"Let's get you up," he offers a hand to me and I gladly take it.
However, when I try to push myself up, I end up pulling him down on as well. He falls on top of me, our bodies coming in contact with each other.
"V-Viktor," I stammer.
"Let's just stay like this for a bit." That's all he says.
Viktor doesn't try to get off of me, and I don't try to move either. We just stay in that awkward position, our breathing in sync. This kind of reminds me of how Viktor kis- I mean hugged Yuuri.
"(Y/N)," Viktor finally breaks the ice, not literally.
"Y-Yeah?" I stutter.
He gets up but not off of me completely. He only gets up enough for his face to only be centimeters away from mine. I can feel his breath fan over me.
"I must confess something," he says quite clearly.
"W-What is it?" I gulp, anxiously waiting for what he was about to say.
"There's this one person inside of my heart," he responds, "The thing is she doesn't know that I like her, well more so love her. How do you feel about this?"
"O-Oh really?"
I don't know, but for some reason, I feel...bitter? I should be happy for him, right? So, why am I not?
"I-I'm happy for you," I lie straight through my teeth, "You should go and tell h-her, or him! Not assuming!"
"Really, (Y/N)?" He peers into my eyes, trying to find the truth. We both know that I'm lying.
"Y-Yep," I escape his gaze, filling me with guilt.
"It's not good to lie," Viktor frowns a little.
"You could get mad at me," I mumble.
"You know I would never get mad at you," he answers.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in.
"I'm...not truly happy," I regrettably say, "I don't know why, but I want to be that person. Is-Is that bad?"
He smiles, "Not at all. You can relax, though."
"Why?" I interrupt him, "Sorry."
"No, it's fine," he continues, a solemn smile appears on his face, "It's because she probably doesn't like me back."
"You should still try," I tell him, "You never know what's going to happen."
"I thought you don't want me to be with her."
"If she makes you happy," I give a forced smile, "Then I'm happy too."
"You're very understanding," he lets out a breath, "Okay then, I'll tell her."
"Good for you," I speak, "But shouldn't we get out of this position?"
"Nope," he hugs close to me, "I don't need to."
"W-What do you mean?" I don't catch wind of what's going on.
"That girl," he takes a pause to smile and his cheeks flush a little, "is right here."
I gasp and the color of burgundy spreads all over my face.
"W-What?"
"(Y/N) (L/N)," he breathes out, "I have loved you, and still do, for a long time. Please, will you be mine?"
Without hesitation, I already know my answer.
"YES!!" I hug him tightly from below.
He looks shocked at me for a moment but then relaxes. He snuggles his head into the crook of my neck.
We stay like that for a while and Victor goes close to my ear.
"Can you hear my heartbeat?"

(A/N): So I was invited to ice skating and I sucked. Seriously, how do they do that? Also, anyone like Doki Doki Literature Club? If you don't know what it is, I highly recommend you watching gameplays or playing the game for free from Steam! However, there are disturbing photos and topics. If you are easily disturbed, please don't concern yourself with it. ANDDDDD...
