You joined the state alchemists a year before edward. (In this YOU are the youngest person to become a state alchemist.)

You were walking down the hallway, daydreaming, as usual. But this time is wasn't something super stupid. You heard the new state alchemist was your age, not only that, you heard his last name was Elric.

You and the Elric brothers were childhood friends, but you haven't talked to either of them since you left to become a state alchemist.

~flashback~

You were upset to be leaving your friends, but you were also really exited. You think you have what it takes to become a state alchemist.
You were studying alchemy with the Elric brothers since you were about (however old they were when the started learning alchemy. I forgot. You are the same age as them.).

You were walking a few houses down to the Elric brothers house. Both the brothers and Wenry were there to say goodbye. As you were saying your final goodbyes, Edward started crying. He practically tackled you in a hug and started crying more. " I'm gonna miss you F/N, but I promise, I will become a state alchemist someday too." Edward said trying to hold back tears. "I'm gonna miss you too Edward, I'm gonna miss you all."

The other two joined the hug.

After another ten minutes of crying, you went on your way.

As you were walking down the hallway you bumped into someone.

You looked up to apologize to them...

"Ed-Edward?"

"F-F/N?"

Edward tackled you into a hug, and tears of joy fell out of your eyes.

"I missed you guys so much while I was here."

"We all missed you too F/N."

You stayed like that for a while. But soon pulled away from eachother. It was silent for a moment.
"So your still short, huh?"
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT YOU CANT EVEN SEE THEM WITHOUT A MAGNIFYING GLASS!?"
"Woah,Woah, I never said that. I see you still overreact when people make comments on your height." You replied.

It's been about two weeks since Edward became a state alchemist.

But you noticed he has been ignoring you lately.

You saw edward walk by and walked over to him.

"Why have you been ignoring me, Edward?" You say bluntly.

"F-F-F/N! Um- what are you talking about?! I haven't been ignoring you!, I've just had a bunch if work to do!" He responded, sounding like he was scared.
"We didn't have any assignments this week Edward" you say bluntly

~Edwards p.o.v~

Yes I have been ignoring her, but that's because I realized I have a huge crush on her.

"Oh..." F/N said as she started walking away, looking quite sad.

"F-F/N Wait!" I yelled grabbing her hand.

~your p.o.v~

"F-F/N Wait!" Edward yelled as he grabbed my hand.

You looked up at him with tears forming in your eyes.

"F/N the reason why I've been ignoring you is because.....um... I....I love you F/N...

Your eyes widened and you smiled.

I...I...I love you too Edward. You say, hugging him.

He pulls away from the hug and cups your cheek.

You both started leaning forward until your lips touched. You stayed like that for a while.

You both pulled away at the same time, gasping for air.

"I love you F/N"

"I love you too Edward"
