You don’t know me, and you have no proof that you know me either. You know absolute nothing of me, except that I’m writing this. Well would you like to know who I am? Of course you do, it’s a stupid question. You know nothing of me, but in time you will find out, and I’m going to tell you of myself for one reason. That you learn to know me. That is it, no complicated explanations on my part really, but what about you? Can you tell me your name? Your story? Of course not. It’s pure instinct not to tell a stranger of yourself, but you aren’t a stranger, are you? We’ve been friends since birth, it’s destined. I know everything of you, every secret, every embarrassing moment, and all your fails. So cheer up lad! You can relax when in my presence, you have always been. But let’s begin with the basics. Where I am. I am not too far from you; I’m actually really close to you. For all you know I could be right behind you… no there’s no ghost behind you so don’t look away from my writing again, understand? I am watching you as you read this, I’m so close to you it’s frightening in a way. But don’t let that make you uncomfortable. Ok let’s continue. Who I am. It’s a really simple answer that you yourself can answer to. You know me, don’t you? Now why did you shake your head? Pretending that you don’t know me? I’m hurt! You’re reading me here like an open book and you pretend not to know me? You know me, that funny, simple, sometimes clumsy and smart friend that always stands at your side. Now you know me don’t you? Yeah that’s right, you came over to my house just last week where we listened to songs and played on the X-Box. You brought a bag of chips and I had coke. That was fun, wasn’t it? Oh yes, by the way, you left one of your shoes here. How did you not notice that?! No! I did not steal your shoe and give you one of mine! Why would I do such simple things! You have no evidence! By the way, can I please have my shoe back? Um so yeah. Your dog also got out; I recommend you go catch it. Sorry!
