"Uhhhh.... Are you sure this is okay Maka?" I ask her nervously, rubbing my hands to keep them warm and so they don't notice that they're shaking.

"Yeah! I'm positive, so don't be scared! This will be fun!" she says excitedly.

"Okay..." I trail off.

We get in our fighting positions, Soul turning into his scythe, and I clutch my weapon tightly, since I don't have a meister or weapon of my own. We shift around and Maka lunges at me, swiftly delivering a blow to me that I almost didn't block. I manage to back away from her as Maka tries to hit me again. I keep dodging her blows, not bothering to try and attack her.

"Why aren't you fighting back! C'mon, this is suppose to be a test of your strength!" Maka yells at me, while I keep dodging.

I don't bother answering her and I try to use my blade against Maka. She blocks it and I use my hand while she's busying with my sword, to try and attack her with my soul wavelength.

"Maka! Watch out!" Soul warns her, and Maka moves out of the way, slicing my cheek with Soul in the process.

I clutch my cheek and stand up, moving away from her and Soul.

"Uh oh, did I hurt you?" she asks, trying to get closer to me.

I back away in terror, not wanting her to know my secret.

"Why are you walking away from me?"

My eyes grow wide as Soul turns into human form again, and tries to grab me. It felt like slow motion, me standing there in terror and Soul trying to reach out and grab me. I finally move, turning and running away from them, in the direction of my house.

"Wait, Yuuki! YUUKI!!" they scream at me as I run away.

I look back and see Maka, Soul, and Kidd running after me. I turn away and run faster the adrenaline kicking in, making me even faster, as I see my house slowly come into view.

'YES YES MY HOUSE!' I scream internally, finally getting onto my driveway.

I run inside, slam my door, lock it with every chain, and sit down on my tile floor, exhausted from running. After a couple minutes of sitting on my floor, I hear pounding of footsteps on my driveway. Fear kicking in again, I duck into the hallway and go to the bathroom. I slowly, but shakily, pull off my hand from the wound on my cheek. I almost fall down in shock.

"YUUKI, OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!!!!!" I hear Kidd yell from outside.

"I knew it." I whispered as my blood in my bones turn cold.

"Yuuki, please! I want to see what's wrong!" Maka pleads.

I look down to see my hands covered in it.

"DON'T MAKE ME DESTROY YOUR DOOR!" I hear Black Star yell.

"I can't believe it," I say as I stare in shock at my reflection. "My blood.....it's.... black."
