Part 3 #17 Sting Eucliffe x Akame/ You (The Sleepover)

[Sting's Point Of View]

Akame dragged me along, by her soft and little hands toward the kitchen. The reason? It was unknown to me. She came to a halt at the islands edge and let go off my hand, which I couldn't help but frown at.

I watched as she turned on the kettle and a perplexed expression adorned my face and once she turned around she seemed to take notice of it.

She smiled at me- and everytime I see that smile my heart skips a beat. "Confused much?" She asked and propped her elbows on the granite.

"Yeah," I replied, tucking my hands into my sweatpants taking a leaning stance against the island.

"Well...since your wonderful little bro..." She chuckled, pulling out a mugg from one of the cupboards. "Says that I make the best cup of tea. I thought I'd make a cup especially for you."

I was surprised, her make up gift was quite unusual but I couldn't help but let out a chuckle and look down. This is just one of the countless reasons for me falling head over heels for her- for her kindness and unpredictability.

I looked up and set my gaze upon her once more, studying her intently. She placed in a tea bag, then warm water and added sugar. Every little thing she does just amazes me, guess you can say I'm lovestruck. She briefly looked up at me and a little blush covered her cheeks.

She blushes so easily but I can't blame her because from what I've heard she has zero experience with the opposite gender-- I don't get that though because she's just so beautiful. So that might just probably explain why she gets flustered everytime I'm around her because she's probably never been that close to a guy before.

[Akame's Point Of View]

I briefly looked up at Sting then back down at the tea cup, feeling my cheeks heat up because he's staring right at me. I stirred the cup of tea and Sting's gaze still lingered on me so I let out a little sigh, "Would you stop staring at me."

He let out and airy chuckle and stepped closer, "why? Is it making your heart pound in it's cage?"

I turned toward the fridge. He's right, it is making my heart race. I pulled out the milk bottle and poured some into the cup. "No, it's just creepy." I slid the cup of tea toward him. "Here."

"Really now? Because your expression seems to be telling another story." He picked up the tea and I put the milk away.

"Well...let me give you a little advice, generally speaking that is." He sipped his tea.

"Mhm yeah..." He mumbled, taking another sip. "This is good."

I smiled, "Alright listen...it doesn't matter how attractive a guy is because if a girl doesn't like him there's nothing more she'll hate than being touched by him let alone even letting him stare at her."

He nodded his head as he soaked up all the words I just said, "mmh okay, so how did the pizza guy make you feel?" He asked bluntly.

I looked at him surprised, "w-why would you ask that!?"

"Just curious or maybe...I just want to see if your philosophy is correct." He placed the cup on the counter and stared at me.

"Er- well..uncomfortable..I guess? But I also appreciate the fact the he got our pizza here on time." I laughed awkwardly.

"Okay, that's probably natural." He shrugged. "Since you don't know the guy." I nodded my head, agreeing. "But," he took a step back, tucking his hands into his pockets. I gulped afraid of what he might ask next. "Do I make you feel the same way as the pizza guy?"

My eyes widened. That was the question I was afraid he would ask- well maybe not exactly in that context but still it's a question about how he makes me feel. I fiddled with my fingers, growing nervous with each passing second. "Well...I know you better than the pizza guy so I feel comfortable, safe, happy and a bunch of other things." I smiled and looked away.

"A bunch of other things?" He questioned.

'A bunch of other things' covered my romantic feelings for him so I wouldn't have to exactly lie about anything or put it out there in the open either.

"Y-Yeah, it's just uhm..." I mentally slapped myself for being so pathetic at excuses, why did I let 'a bunch of other things' slip out.

"You're not very convincing, you know." He smirked.

I stepped back toward the corner of the island, "I'm not an expert at relaying my emotions, heck I don't even know what I'm feeling most of the time but when I'm with you Sting, I-I think I have fe-fee..." I stopped midway, surprised at what was slipping out of my mouth. I glanced at Sting and he was more surprised than I was.

It wouldn't take an expert to figure out what I was about to say. I held a hand over my mouth, "Oh God, I just shot myself in the foot." I mumbled to myself.

Sting was still staring at me but he seemed deep in thought so I creeped around the island planning to go into the living room. I laughed nervously, "Enjoy your tea Sting...I think I'll just-" .

"Wait," he interjected, the island seperating the two of us.

I halted and he slowly made his way toward me, "ah haha, Sting I'm going to bed." I said quickly and bolted out of the kitchen with him trailing behind me.

"You was about to say something weren't you?" We stood on the opposite sides of the couch.

"Pssht no. It was nothing." I laughed.

"I've never seen you that passionate with words, so spill it." He came round to my side and I just managed to evade him.

But not long after Sting caught me, pulling me off my feet and swinging me over his shoulder.

"Sting!" I flailed my appendages.

"You better start talking 'cause I can stay like this the whole night." Sting taunted, holding my legs securely.

I punched at his back but he shrugged it off with a laugh and released me until I was at his waist level and I instinctively wrapped my arms around his body, "Sting! Stop, my shirt's practically coming off!"

"You better start talking then." He said evilly, a smirk most likely covering his face. "Let me make things easier for since you did for me,"

"What?"

"I like this girl," he began and I still held onto him. "And she almost said something I've been hoping to hear for a while now and I just wish she'd come out and say it, with out second guessing herself." His voice was rather soft.

I sighed, the girl he's talking is obviously me, right? Because what he's describing just happened so does that mean he really feels that way about me too?

"Akame?" His voice breaking me out of my thoughts.

I felt my shirt being pulled down and the couch beneath me. I looked up and Sting's face was mere inches from mine, his eyes staring into mine. I stared back feeling my body overcome with emotion that I've never experienced before but somehow I liked how it made me feel.

He leaned his forehead against mine but I pulled him into a hug and held him tightly. "Sting, you like me back?"

He wrapped his arms around me, "Yes, from the first time I've met you Akame." His words filled a void in my heart, they were comforting.

"I love you Sting." I tightened my arms around him, as I felt the tears brim and my cheeks burn.

"I've always loved you Akame, forever and always." He broke apart and he connected his lips with mine.

They were so soft, just as I've always imagined. He kissed with so much passion and he was gentle against my lips. He began to bite at my lower lip so I allowed him entrance because I've wanted this just as bad as him.

He explored every part of my mouth with his tongue and I could taste the tea that lingered. The kiss was intense but passionate and it felt as if time stood still but alas this blissful and long awaited moment had to come to an end as we both desperately needed air but neither wanted to break away but we were forced to.

We gasped for air upon breaking away and Sting rested his forehead against mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck as he sweetly pecked my nose.
