Hizashi Yamada

Today is one of those days when Hizashi comes home late. He told Aizawa that he would help him with the remaining paperwork. You weren't really a fan of him coming home late, but even less so of having to go to bed alone. You're not entirely sure why, but being alone makes you scared. The darkness and the silence send shivers down your spine. Still, it's slowly time to go to bed, since you have to work again tomorrow. You get ready for bed and then slowly make your way to the bedroom. Normally, the two of you would go to bed together now, cuddle, and fall asleep. But tonight is different his side is empty, and the fear inside you is overwhelming.

Slowly, you lie down and grab your phone and your headphones. Carefully, you plug them in and place your phone next to you. You put on a song and quickly turn off the light. You turn towards your phone, press yourself into the blanket, and squeeze your eyes shut, hoping you'll fall asleep soon. In vain your thoughts and fears keep you awake, but you don't give up. With your eyes closed and music on, you keep trying.

Some time passes, and you start to doze off when suddenly you feel a hand on your head. You flinch, curl up smaller, and try not to cry. Your breathing quickens. You feel someone gently take the earbuds out of your ears. "Hey, angel, I'm home," you hear a familiar voice, and you let out a soft whimper before turning around and stretching toward him. To your surprise, he was already ready for bed. Gently, he wraps his arms around you, lies down next to you, and holds you close. "Don't be scared, I'm here now. Try to finally sleep, I can see how tired you are." You press yourself tightly against him and swallow softly. Without him, you probably would never have fallen asleep.
