Inukags from Inuyasha

Kagome and Inuyasha were sitting in their small cottage for two, getting ready to go into the forest for berries.
Since Kagome has permanently moved to Inuyasha's time and place, she's become one of the best healers in the village.

But Inuyasha never let's her go into the forest alone. Much to Kagome's dismay. He's way to overly protective of her, especially since they got married, and when they found out she's pregnant.

"Would it be alright if I went by myself every so often?" She asked him, but the half demon only scoffed and made a low growling noise. "And let some unknown stranger or demon attack my wife? Who so happens to be pregnant with my pup!"

She groaned and sat back, propping herself up with her hand behind her on the floor. "Your being overly dramatic. I bet it's just because you'll miss me." She grinned at him smugly when he spluttered and blushed as red as his clothes. "That's not true! I really am worried about you getting mugged!"

She was about to reply when Miroku burst through the door. "Inuyasha in the village over, there's a kitsune thats gone mad!" The white haired male jumped up instantly. "I'm on- wait, but...Kagome." She smiles warmly and stands up to walk over to him.

She sweetly places her hand on his cheek. "It's alright, I'm a tough girl, you know what Im able to handle. 😄 I'll be right here when you get back. If you hurry you may get to eat some berries before they're all put in the pie." She stated this with a teasing grin, causing him to get flustered again. He quickly pulled her into a tight embrace, "Be carefull okay woman?" He States then walks out with the monk.

With a breath of relief, Kagome makes her way outside, basket in hand and Kirara by her side. "I bet he didn't know you were going with me." She giggled as the big demon cat made a delighted noise.

Later

It was almost sundown when Inuyasha finally arrived, a sack of rice on his back, giving to him from the town he saved. As he walked in the door, his eyes widened to see Kagome using Kirara as a pillow. 

All over again, the half dog demon fell in love with her. How can one woman be so beautiful and calming and have such a comforting sent? Quietly he put the bag of rice in the corner of the room, carefull not to tear it.

With quiet but quick movements, he made his way to his wife's side. She looks happy and warm, so he lays down beside her. Nuzzling into her warmth and smelling her scent, Inuyasha starts to drift off to sleep.

He blinks a few times, trying to fight sleep. As he blinks though, he watches as his wife's eyes open. He stares straight into them. "I told you you'd just miss me." She flashes a big grin at him before nuzzling closer. He grunts but relaxes into her touch.

"I love you Inuyasha." Was all the Inu heard before sleep overcame him.
