Keith and Lance were walking a little behind the rest of the group; heading to a store on some random planet. Every time Keith would look over at Lance with a saddened look on his face, Lance would see his goofiest grin he could muster. Keith felt he didn't fit in with them. It's been a problem of his since he came out about being part galra. But Lance was helping him out of his shell a little bit. Keith just smiled back at him, chuckling lightly.

They didn't even put up a fight, they didn't even make a sound.

"Don't be so blue Keith. We're getting some real food today...not the space goo~!" He made a gross face while say "goo" and Keith laughed slightly louder. "Yeah okay. I guess that's a good thing. I just can't shake the feeling that I don't belong with the other guys-... because I'm a monster."  Lance stopped and frowned.

I found a way to let you in. But I never really had a doubt.

Lance pulled Keith into a bone crushing hug, knowing his best friend needs comfort. Hesitating, Keith hugged him back, not expecting the gesture.

Standing in the light of your Halo, I got my angel now.

"Don't say those things or even think those things stupid! Your just as much a part of this team as all of us. We love you just the same, galra or not!" Lance stated sternly, slightly muffled by Keith's jacket.

Lance backed away just slightly and smile a very loving smile towards Keith. The mullet heads heart skipped a couple beats and he swallowed hard.

Keith slowly started to lean towards Lance as his eyes closed. Surprisingly, Lance copied his movements. Their lips were just an inch away from each other when pidge hollered over her shoulder with an eyebrow raised. "Come on lover boys, or were gonna leave you two behind!" Lance backed up quickly with an apologetic smile and took his hand, pulling him along.

Gravity can't forget, to pull me back to the ground again. Feels like I've been awakened, every rule I've had you breaking! It's the risk that I'm taken!

Slowly, Keith got closer to Lance as they walked; their fingers linked together as they swayed back and forth.

As they got to the store they were buying from, Keith and Lance stood at the front while the others picked out what they wanted or just looked around. Keith looked over at Lance with fear in his eyes. "Are you sure you mean all that stuff about me?" Lance stood up from leaning against the wall with a Stern look on his face.

The brunette grabbed his best friends face and forced him towards him, planting his lips firmly on his. But he didn't give Keith time to react, cause the kiss ended just as quickly as it began.

Who cares if your part galra, you look like a purple kitten, and it's actually kinda cute on you." Keith put on a "really?" Expression and Lance burst with laughter. After a second, Keith couldn't hold it in and he laughed with his new love. After the laughter subsided Keith looked at Lance lovingly. "I feel the same about you Lance. You truly have a halo."
