Todoroki P.O.V

Lately I haven't been able to look at Midoriya the same way I did at the sports festival. I get this weird feeling whenever he's around. My stomach feels like butterflies are fluttering inside whenever he smiles with his cute freckles and messy hair, he looks like an angel. But I can't tell him I like him, he likes Bakugou. I'm sure he'll reject me.

"...roki-kun. Todoroki-kun!"

"Ah, yes Midoriya?" I must have been spacing out.

"Are you alright? You seem upset. You're glaring at Kacchan." Midoriya looks at me with his emerald gems for eyes and I almost sigh with content.

"Ah. Am I? I'm sorry, I was just thinking about all the wrong my father has done. I guess I just happened to be looking in Bakugou's direction. I apologize Midoriya." I have my usual stoic face on, but inside I feel like a can of gasoline was dumped on an open flame. The way Midoriya's eyes seem to shift into a darker shade of the beautiful green when I mention my scumbag old man. He is so innocent it's adorable. I cover my mouth with the back ofy hand to hide my flushed cheeks. Only he can do this to me... It's almost as if any move he makes could turn me into a pile of puddy.

"Todoroki-kun, do you feel sick?" The broccoli boi sitting next to me suddenly starts to rub my back.

"M... Midoriya. Wha.." I can't seem to find the right words as his scarred hand runs up and downy back.

"My mom always does this whenever I don't feel well and it always works fore, so I thought that it might work for you as well.." I look down at him and see the kindest smile adorne his features. I decide to let a little bit of my feelings show by giving him a small smile in return. Midoriya turns pink for some reason then starts mumbling incoherently under his breath.

"Woah Deku, are you alright? You look really red.." Uraraka sets down a bowl of rice as Iida Sita down next to her with a bowl of beef stew.

"I agree with Uraraka. Midoriya if you have a fever you should go see Recovery Girl right away to get proper medicine. As a U.A. student you must keep your body in a healthy and stable condition to learn and train." Iida preaches as a few other tables near ours go quiet, maybe to distracted to eat their own lunches.

"I have to agree with that.. If you overwork yourself, you wouldn't be able to come to school. You can also strain your muscles too much, which can cause serious damage." The smol boi next to me nods and then proceeds to shovel Katsudon and rice into his mouth. Uraraka does the same with her food and eventually everyone is eating again. Iida and Uraraka run off to talk to teachers or other friends leaving me and Midoriya alone. Midoriya is reading over some hero notes he made while I just study him. He notices me after 5 minutes and looks up at me.

"Is something wrong Todoroki-kun, you're awfully quiet." His emerald orbs fill with concern. I say nothing, I just stare at him for a moment then swipe thumb across his plump bottom lip. I then lick the tip of my thumb. "T.. Todo... Todoroki-kun?!" His cheeks fill with a lovely pink color. I smirk at lean in and speak directly into his ear.

"You had a piece of rice on your lip." I pull back. While I still have this courage I quickly peck his forehead before the bell rang indicating that the lunch period is now over. I get up and leave casually but on the inside I am freaking out.
