  "Who are you and what are you doing here?!"

"I'm Joker, and I'm with members of Phantom Thieves."

"Then where are they?"

"We split up because of the shadows... Now, what's your name and what are you doing here?"

He was so calm in this situation you were both in. And since he wasn't a bad guy, well you think, you trusted him and told him your (C/N).

"I'm (C/N), and I'm here alone to make (bad guy female name) confess all of her sins... if I can't do it in reality, then I have to do it in the meta verse."

  (Bad guy name) was actually your sister. She has done terrible things, and you tried changing her in reality, but it didn't work. When you got this app and tried it out, you actually found your shadow sister and that's when your persona made a contract with you. You had to figure out what the meta verse was on your own, and you've been trying to steal her treasure for a couple of days now, but still can't find it.

  "Would you like to join us?"

  You were surprised, even though he couldn't see your face, you said, "I guess... but if you or your friends do something to me, I'm not holding back."

  You could see him smile as he said, "Welcome to the Phantom Thieves."

You felt this was a bit sketchy and too easy to except a new member they have never met in their life, but still excepted.

Present

  It's been about three months since you joined the Phantom Thieves. You grown close to all them. But you wanted to be more closer to Akira. He was calm, kind, smart, athletic, brave, and handsome. But all you were to him was his best friend excluding Ryuuji. He just wouldn't notice your feelings towards him. He was 'oblivious' to love. You tried your hardest to get something out him out him, but nothing about yours and his relationship moving forward came out.

  You woke up on a Monday feeling horrible. So today you were acting pissy. And classes made it worse. Then another thing to make it worse, was Ryuuji, so you hit him, but you hit him because he bumped into you. The reason why you did it was, first, it's Ryuuji and you don't care, second, you were mad he did that, especially if he didn't apologize. You wanted to be either left alone, or be with the girls or Akira.

  "What the hell, (Y/N)!"

  "That's what you get for bumping into me in the morning when it's Monday and when today's turning bad."

  "Well, why's it a bad morning?"

  "None of your business," you snap.

  "Ok, I was just asking."

  "... Where's Akira?"

  "Him. Oh, he's probably near his shoe locker."

  "K, thanks. And I would suggest you do not make me mad today."

  "G-got it. Scary."

  You left to where his locker was hoping to feel better... but it made you feel worse.

  "Akira, there you are. Make me feel better. I'm having a bad day," you said as you leaned your head on his shoulder totally forgetting about the Ryuuji incident.

  "Oh, hey, (Y/N)!" It was Ann. (I was just gonna use Futaba, but Ann was the first female character and is the most attractive one in the game, to the other characters, though. Plus, Ann has known Akira longer.) And her arm was linked with his.

  "Oh. I guess you can guess why Ann's doing this," Akira said.

  You were hoping that they weren't dating, since that's the message they gave off.

  "Are you two... dating?"

  "Ya, I actually asked him yesterday and he said yes. I was so excited," Ann says with delight.

  You quickly back away a bit, since you removed your head from his shoulder when you saw Ann. "Oh... I-I'm happy for you... but I gotta to go, um, s-see you later."

  "Bye," they both said in a unison. You ran all the way to your house crying and not stopping to take a break.

  You cried and cried while eating ice cream and watching anime.

  The door bell rang and you walked to the door sluggish not caring what you looked like or who it was. You opened the door to see Akira. His calm expression turned into a worried one.

  He grabbed your shoulders and asked, "Are you ok, what happened?"

  You didn't look him in the eye. You had to come up with an excuse.

  "Oh, um... my cat, passed away after I went to school," luckily, you did have a cat and that he was with your grandma for two days.

  "Not him/her. I loved that cat... here, let's hang out for awhile... but if that's ok with you."

  You were a little happy inside and gave him a small smile saying, "Sure. Thanks, Akira."

You and Akira watched comedies to make you feel better as you laughed. His laugh was wonderful, but you wouldn't hear it as much, now that he is in a relationship. You wouldn't be together as much anymore. So you wanted to enjoy this moment before he leaves to go home. But you wanted it to last forever, but you also wanted to support him and Ann. If he said yes to Ann, then that means he likes her. And you wanted to support that... no matter how much it hurt you.

"Oh, it's almost eleven. I should probably get going... um, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye, and goodnight, (Y/N)," he said as he got up from the couch.

You got off the couch lazily and opened the door for him. You were sad he was leaving. You knew everything was going to change between the two of you. But you tried to push that aside.

"Bye, Akira. See you tomorrow." You both waved to each other as he left and you closed the door, but locked it.

You smiled sadly, then put your head against the door saying, "Why... why can't I be happy?"

And you ran to your room upstairs. Crying yourself asleep.

Morning

You woke up to a sticky face. You walked to your bathroom and saw your eyes red and swollen with tear marks on your cheeks. You washed your face, then turned the water to cold to make your swollen eyes die down a little. You slowly got ready for school as you thought and thought about Akira and Ann.

They looked like a good couple, but you felt like you needed him in your life. Especially after your sister got arrested, and your parents are barely around. You just, couldn't believe it they were a couple. But, you saw and heard it with your own eyes and ears.

As you were walking to school, you saw Haru and Makoto together. You were happy to see them since they will listen to your problems.

"Haru... Makoto... can I talk to both of you after school... at my place?"

"Sure, but what's wrong?" Makoto asks.

"I'll tell you later," you said as you were walking away.

You weren't looking, but Haru turned towards Makoto and said, "She must be hurting really bad. What do you think is wrong with her?"

"I don't know, but we'll find out later... let's not tell anybody about this. Just in case (Y/N) doesn't want anyone to know." They both nodded to each other as you got to school.

You couldn't focus on classes. You wanted to, but then you would space out. But finally, it was lunch. Except, you saw Akira and Ann holding hands. It felt like a knife was piercing your heart.

This is jealousy? This is heart break? This is what feeling alone is like? I need to talk to Haru and Makoto soon, or I might break down.

After School

"(Y/N), were here, can you open the door?"

"Ya, I'll be down. Bye," you said as you ended the phone call.

You opened the door to see Makoto, Haru, and Futaba?

"What are you doing here, Futaba?"

"I'm here because I'm curious, and I was spying on you guys on Makoto's phone."

  "I suggest you not do that anymore, Futaba."

  "Y-yep!"

You let them enter your house as you sat yourself and them down on the couch.

"So, (Y/N)... what's wrong?" Haru asks as if your so fragile, you would break.

"Well, have you heard of Akira and Ann dating?"

They all replied, "Yes?"

"Well, I've liked Akira for a while now. And now I can't tell him my feelings, I want to be with him... but now I can't. He's in a relationship. And I don't want to ruin his and Ann's relationship together. And now I don't know what to do."

They all looked at you with sympathy, even Futaba.

"(Y/N), it's ok to let all your feelings out. We're all here to support you, and we won't tell anyone... right Futaba?" Makoto says.

"No need to point fingers."

Haru walked over to you and gave a hug. You hugged back as you cried, and told them what you were feeling. Soon after, they all left telling you to hang in there.

  But you didn't know that Akira was actually listening to that conversation. How? Futaba and Akira were talking on the phone before she got there, and she forgot to say she's going somewhere and hang up.

Pretend you're not here... swoosh ('⊙ω⊙')

"Futaba?"

  "E-eh!? Akira is that you?! I thought you hung up?! Did you hear that conversation?! Ahh, Makoto's gonna kill me?!"

  "Did (Y/N) really mean what she said?"

  "Of course you dummy! But just forget you heard that conversation. Ok?"

  "..."

  "A-Akira, d-do you like (Y/N)?"

  "I don't know. I don't even know if I like Ann now. All because I heard this."

  "This is your fault. Now you're going to hurt one girl... or possibly both?! ...Akira, you better make up your mind. Or I'll hack into your computer and mess stuff up in there. Now bye."

Back to you

  As you went to your room and shut the door, you turned and slid to the floor. Your head in your hands as your legs support your arms.

  "Why can't we be together?"
