I am (y/n) (l/n). I am a death scythe  and Spirt Albarn is my boyfriend, today being our 1 year anniversary. I had gotten him a gift to surprise him because he said he was going to surprise me with something. I know what you are probably thinking,

'Why would you want Spirit?'

'Doesn't he drool over every girl?'

And 'But he has a daughter'

Spirit, ever since we started dating has been trying to stop looking at other girls. He stopped hanging around them so much, and sometimes he messes up but he's trying. And about Maka. I've always wanted a daughter and she is such a smart girl. Also who really wants to have to push a kid out of them and not be able to drink for nine months. I mean seems like a plus to me. Why Spirit? Why not? It's impossible to say why you love someone. You just do.

Right now I am headed to Spirit's house to surprise him with his gift. I opened the door and creeped inside so he wouldn't see me. There was a light on in the room down the hall so I shuffled down and peeked in.

There was Spirit alone. In his room. With a girl. I've never see before.

'She might just be his friend. Ya, a friend'

After dismissing the thought I started to walk in the door right when the girl leaned over to him and he smiled widely. Then he hugged her.

Sure, he has had problems with other girls before but nothing like this! I stepped away from the door and out of their sight.

'I don't know why I'm so angry. I should have expected this at some point.'

I could feel the anger building inside me. My breathing went faster and faster, heart beat increasing until.

*Drip*

Angry tears started to fall from my eyes. I ran out of the house dropping the gift on my way. When I got to my house I sat down on my bed and thought.

'I need to get him back. Tomorrow we start revenge!'

I got up and out of the house straight away in the morning. I ran down to Maka and Soul's house.

I knocked in the door and it swung open revealing Maka probably just out of bed.

"Maka, can you help me with something?"

"What is it, (y/n)?" She asked as she opened the door more so I could enter.

"It's about your dad."

"Oh Lord Death, what did he do this time?!"

"Well I came to his house to give him a gift for our anniversary and I saw him with a girl and then he hugged her so I ran out and came here," I explained

"Why does he always freaking end up doing something like this!" Maka shouted out in frustration.

"I wanted to get him back, but I don't know what to do so I came here." She thought for a minute then faced me with a smirk on her face.

"I've got a plan..."

"No I won't help you."

"Awwwww Stein why not? I thought I was your friend?" I whined out, "You're like one of his best friends so it has to be you! Pweaseeeeeee!"

"No, (y/n)."

"What if I... sweetened the deal?"

"I'm listening."

"Panthera pardus orientalis, the Amur leopard, critically endangered, if you help it's all yours," I said looking him straight in the eyes, an evil smirk making its way to my lips. He stared equally as intense into my (e/c) eyes. Then let out a sigh.

"Fine I'll help, what is the plan?" He asked, obviously annoyed. I smiled a large toothy grin and hugged him.

"Thanks Stein!!! So let's go on a mission! We we've been good friends so a while and I think our souls work together pretty well... But that's just part one..."

~Spirit's pov~

(Y/n) has been missing ever since the day of our anniversary. I've been wanting to give her her surprise but I haven't seen her. I decided to ask Lord Death, he should probably know. I walked down the long hallway leading to his room and pushed open the doors.

"Lord Death, do you know where (y/n) went?"

"Oh your little girlfriend went on a mission with Stein. She should be back in a day or two!" He said in his comical voice. I was surprised.

'Why didn't she tell me?'

"Oh. Thanks. I gotta... um... I gotta go."

"Ok, bye Spirit!" With that I left.

'(Y/n) and Stein are just friends. Maybe she forgot to tell me it's nothing to worry about!'

I thought to myself. Even though I was completely nervous I lied to myself about it.

'She will be back soon'

(Y/n) was supposed to get home today so I decided to walk to her house to welcome her back. When I was almost there I saw (y/n) and Stein talking.

'I should just walk up to her. Nothing awkward about it... You know what? What could listening in hurt?'

I crept behind a tree far enough to not be seen but close enough to hear what they were saying.

I could see Spirit hide behind the tree.

'Does he think I'm that dumb?'

I gave Stein the nod meaning to start.

'Time to start the second part of the plan!'

"You did a great job, (y/n)"

"Thanks but a weapon is useless with out its meister," I said dramatically bowing down like a servant to his master. When Stein hugged me tightly against his chest.

"This works right?" He whispers in my ear so Spirit couldn't hear.

"Perfect," I whispered back. Stein pulled out of the hug and I looked into his eyes that were hiding behind his glasses and he gave another small nod. I got up on my tippy-toes and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"(Y/n), want to come to the park with me tomorrow?" He asked, quickly glancing at the tree Spirit was behind then back to me.

"I'd love to"

I heard a knock at the door so I got up and swung the door open to see Stein.

"You ready to mess with Spirit?"

"Never been more ready in my life!"

We walked to get her down to the park. I had Maka ask Spirit to come with her to the park today because I know he can't say no to his precious daughter. I bet she's enjoying that ~sarcasm~.

Stein and I sat down on a bench and saw Spirit. Once he saw us he started to sneak over. When we both knew he was close enough we started to talk.

"(Y/n), you look very nice today."

"Thanks, Stein!" I said giving him a closed eye smile. Today I wore a (f/c) sundress along with matching sandals just for the occasion. Stein grabbed hold of my hand and I could see from the corner of my eye Spirit start to get twitchy.

'He's gonna break soon'

Stein stood up from the bench and offered me a hand, but before I could take it Spirit came sprinting towards us and punched Spirit right in the jaw. I cringed.

'That's gotta hurt...'

"What the hell do you think you're doing with my girlfriend!" Spirit yelled at him. This is probably the angriest he's ever been.

"Ha..."

"What did you say!"

"Hahahahahahah" Stein and I couldn't hold it in longer and laughed out in unison.

"What's so funny!"

"It was a joke we set this all up!" I said still slightly laughing.

"Why?"

"Because..." I looked away still slightly angry, "when I came to give you your anniversary gift I saw you with that girl. You hugged her! You looked so happy with her so I wanted you to know how I felt..." I whispered out looking down at the ground, embarrassed. Spirit chucked and pulled me into a warm hug. 

"That girl was a friend that I was talking to to get and idea for our anniversary surprise for you. I couldn't think of anything but she helped me figure something out. That's why she was in the house, and that's why I hugged her. I know I look at other girls a lot but I would never really cheat on you. I love you (y/n)." I looked up at Spirit. He may not be the perfect boyfriend but he was all mine. I pulled him down and kissed him. When I pulled away Spirit smiled at me.

"You know what the best part of this was though?"

"What?"

"I just realized how cute you are  when you're jealous" I puffed out my cheeks trying to hide my embarrassment.

"Whatever."

I also haven't seen Souleater in while so I hope everything is right.
