"(y/nnnnnnnnn)!" Gon yelled smiling at you while waving his hands in the air.
"Gon-kunnnnn!" You yelled back smiling and running towards him.

After not seeing each other for almost two years, you were finally able to come back to Whale Island where you grew up together with your best friend and (of course, it's a romance one shot were talking here) secretly crush, Gon Freecss.

Missing Gon and your home wasn't the only reasons why you suddenly decided stop your plans for looking for your long lost Oniisan (might write another imagine with that one 😁). After finding out about Gon being badly injured after fighting a Ant-animal like, you wanted to go back home and find Gon as soon as possible.

Heck you were even crying while traveling back home. Almost everyone thought you were some crazy chick at the plane. But who couldn't blame you though, you were worried sick about Gon.

[[ a week before..]]

After arriving at Whale Island, you ran quickly as you can to Mito-san's house. But when you got there, Mito said that Gon wasn't going to come back till the following week.

She explained that Gon was with Ging.

'Ging...Gon's father..' You thought to yourself.
'Gon finally met his father.. I'm so happy for you Gon-kun!' You smiled.

"I see, arigato Mito-San!"

[[1 week later]]

"Gon-kunnnnn!" You yelled back smiling and running towards him giving him a big bear hug.

"Hahaha, (y/n)..ca..I..can't...breath..!" You quickly released him after realizing you were practically choking him to death.

"oh! Gomen...." You said apologizing while blushing looking down at the ground.

"How's your search for your Oniisan going?" Gon suddenly asked.

"Oh. It's going okay, I got some info about him from people that have seen him around some cities" you replied back smiling.

'He looks perfectly fine tho..why was Leorio panicking about that time.. Gon is completely healed"

"Gon-kun" you said catching Gon's attention.

Suddenly tears started streaming down your face. 'Oh..'

"(y/n) ?.." After lifting your head up, Gon started panicking on why you started crying.

"(y/n) ! Don't cry. Did..Did I do something wrong?..ohhh..onegai mou nakanai de (y/n)" said Gon worried while wiping your tears away.

"Why...why do you make me feel worried about you all the time!?... You got hurt but I couldn't do anything but wait for you to come back" you said while crying and started throwing weak punches at Gon. "Why.."

Gon quickly engulfed you in his arms as you started sobbing at his shoulder.

"Gomen-na (y/n)" he said quietly.

"You..said you were going to be careful" you replied still in his arms.

"I did say that. But look! I'm okay now. Killua and Alluka helped me" Gon said with a reassuring smile.

Not replying at what he just said, Gon continued and said "Gomen-ne, I made you worry about me" tightening his hug.

"....Mmm //shaking your head// you're better now, and I shouldn't be worried anymore as long as you're here in one piece" you said giving Gon a smile.

"I missed you, Gon" hugging Gon once more.
