(Anime: Bakugan)

-Sapphire's pov (Age: 19)-

"Hey, little sis, tell me how you and your boyfriend met~" My big sister sang through face camera over on skype. I madly blushed.

"W-Where did this topic come from??" I stuttered ever so slightly.

"I don't know; I was just curious since you never talk to me about your love life. As your big sister, I have the right to know."

"More like you demanded it..." I muttered while looking to the right.

"Sorry, what was that?" Her scary side are starting to show.

"N-Nothing!" I quickly spoke in panic.

"Well, good and by the way, I haven't seen your talking bakugan in a while now." She looked around as if she was here with me. "What was his name again?"

"His name is Alpha Darkness Hydranoid and as for where he is...I also have no clue!" I could tell she was mentally face palming.

"Good job on taking care of your bakugan."

"Oh, thank you!"

"That wasn't a compliment, it was a sarcasm."

"Oh...It was?" She did an actual face palm.

"Anyway, tell me your love life while I'm still alive..." I softly giggled to her joke.

"Alight."

-5 years ago (Age: 14)-

"Sapphire, I don't think you should go to that party..." My talking bakugan was being ridiculous, telling me what I should do.

"Why would I do that, Alpha Darkness Hydranoid?? I mean, he's my boyfriend after all, so of course I'm going." I explained to him.

"Was saying my full name necessary?" I looked up from my book and stared at him, who was sitting on my study desk.

"Umm...No? But back onto the point, he's my boyfriend...ON TOP OF THAT, it's his birthday party." He sighed in defeat.

"Fine, but I've warned you." I nodded and continued my reading. You see, according to Hydranoid, he's not a good boyfriend or person. He's a playboy but I still love him...Well, at least I convinced myself that I do.

"You're worried about me, right?" I quietly asked.

"Yes, of course I do..." He replied in a same tone as I did. "I'm worried that'll get hurt, again. You do realize he's been cheating you, right-"

"No...!" I lightly squeezed my book. "H-He's not like that...He said he was just making some friends..." I tighten my grip onto the book that I was holding.

"I think he has made a lot of girl space friend, already." I didn't reply because I knew he was right but, still...Because I didn't reply, there was a silent between us. He let out another sigh. "Nevermind, do whatever you like, I'm going to sleep. So, night." He angrily went into his ball form.

"Night..." I quietly, like a mouse, replied. I checked my phone which was beside me. It's already 9:00 PM! I should head to sleep...Though...Maybe I should read a bit more.

-Time passed-

I started to feel tired after I completed reading the whole book. I had a feeling I stayed up way too late but I checked my phone anyway. It's 12 AM??!! After seeing that, I quickly and quietly got ready to bed.

-Next day at the party-

I was overwhelmed with excitement as I ran to his house. Luckily it wasn't far, just a few blocks away from my house. I also made sure my bakugan had a smooth ride. When I arrived at the massive party, it took a while to find Jake, my boyfriend. As I laid eye on him, I realized that there were at least 6 or more girls surrounding him. I felt the jealousy that's within me, building up as I continued to stare. "Sapphire, just give him the present and then leave." Hydranoid noticed my jealously and snapped me out. I silently nodded.

I slowly strolled up to him and as I did that, the other girls glared at me, like I was something disguising. I tried my best to ignore them and handed my present to him. "T-This is for you." I tried my best to smile normally and sound normal. He looked at it for a bit then at me.

"You can put it in my room with the others~" He replied with a smirk, which made the girls giggled. My smile fell and I nodded. I left without any complaints or looking at him. Now I was starting to feel like I really wasn't his girlfriend at all. I felt like I was some kind of...Toy or just an ugly looking girl that he knows. I felt tears running down my face and Hydranoid didn't say anything because he knew it wouldn't help.

As I made for a turn, I bumped into someone. "I-I'm s-sorry..." I tried to make my voice sound normal and hide my crying face. I assumed the person I bumped into knew that I was crying, since I was never good at hiding in the first place.

"Sapphire, what's the matter??" The voice surprised me as I gazed up to see Spectra, or should I say, Keith and his bakugan, Infinity Helios.

"K-Keith...?" I muttered as my tears were still rolling down on my cheeks. As soon as he saw me in this state, he knew it was about my boyfriend. Grief was written all over his face, I can just tell.

"Do you want to talk?"

"Nope, she doesn't want to talk to you." Helios said with a snicker.

"I don't think it's the right time to be telling jokes, Helios..." Hydranoid replied in a serious tone.

"Calm down, Hydranoid, the joke was harmless."

"Why don't you two talk somewhere else? We'll pick you up when we leave." Keith asked the two bakugan. They both agreed and slowly but surely left. By the time they were talking, my tears had dried up but I did sniff here and there.

"U-Umm, thank you for your concern and offer and umm...I need to put this in his room before we talk..." I held up Jake's present while looking to the right. He nodded. After placing his present in his room we went somewhere we could discuss my matters privately. When we found a spot, I explained everything to him. My problems, my doubts and my feelings.

"I see...If it's that bad, you should really-" He was cut off.

"What? Break up with me? Like she can do that, she needs me~" My boyfriend's voice startled me and made me want to end my life. Keith glared at him and I just stared at the floor. I spaced out as the two boys argued. I've had enough of this...I stood up and walked to Jake. He smirked. "See, she can't-"

"I-I'm breaking up with you-you jerk! A-And don't you dare talk to me again!" I left as sighed in relief. Keith was proud of me and followed. I couldn't believe what I did just did, I left that-good-for-nothing-jerk dumbfounded. When we were walking outside, we bumped into our bakugan and pretty much 'picked them up'. Outside and away from the party, I thought in silent on what on earth just happened. Loading...10% 20% 45% 60% 76% 88% 94% 99.7% 9.89% 99.999999999999999999% 100% Loading complete...

"Sapphire, are you...Alright?" Keith waved his hand in my face.

"Yeah, why you asked?" I said in a dead tone and I have no idea why.

"You don't sound okay nor look okay. In fact, you look like you've seen a ghost."

"No...I'm...Totally fine..." I said in the same tone as before while I walked towards my house. He shrugged his shoulder and followed as Hydranoid and Helios listened to our conversation. It went into a silent very quickly so Helios asked what happened. Soon enough, all of us laughed when Keith told them about jake's priceless face. Now I owned Keith my thanks. When we arrived at my house we let our bakugan on my study table while we were sitting on my bed. "Thank you, Keith."

"Glad to have your usual self back and you don't need to thank me." I tilted my head to the side.

"What? Haven't I been normal?" He sweat dropped.

"No, not quite."

"Oh..." After that topic, we went onto the next one and we got to know more about each other.

-1 years later (Age: 15)-

A lot of time had passed and the more I hang around with Keith, the more I have a deep feeling for him. By the time I finally confirmed my affection (that was considered as a crush) towards Keith. I also had a strong feeling that he might return my feelings. At least...That's what I thought.

I was reading on my bed as usual when suddenly, my phone vibrated. It indeed scared the daylights out of me. I swiftly bookmarked my book and grabbed my phone next to me. It was a message from Keith. I wonder what it is...I opened it and it basically said that he wanted to meet me now, at the park near my house. "Hydranoid, let's go." I said to him as I attempted on finding a jacket to wear.

"Why...?" He sounded sleepy but turned into his non-ball state. Though, I wouldn't blame him for being sleepy, because it is around 10:00 PM right now...

"Well, if you want to stay home and sleep, then I won't stop you." He let out a yawn.

"Nahhh, I'll come..." He slowly flew his way onto my shoulder. While he was doing that, I found a jacket and put it on. As I exited my home, I felt nervous and somewhat...A little scared of the outcome.
