We were on shore leave in Seattle, Washington and me, Scotty, Bones, and Spock went hiking down to a lake in the forest.

And before you get confused let me tell you. The past two days Scotty and Bones have been trying to get Spock to show at least the slightest bit of emotion. They also knew that Spock had a thing for me. You might think that "thing" is a crush but no it was a thing. Nobody new what it was. He just started acting weird around me. Anyways, Bones and Scotty have been flirting with me to try and get Spock jealous. I mean i don't mind the attention form all these men, but that is beside the point. It wasn't working and they have been starting to bug me.

"Rachel, I can't help but notice how beautiful you look today," Scotty said as he leaned into my side.

"Rachel, I think you are a wonderful girl," Bones followed,

"Thank you boys," I went along with it. I looked over to Spock... nothing.

"Do you, um, maybe want to go to dinner sometime?"

"Sure Bones, that would be nice," I agreed. It felt sort of awkward agreeing to go on a date with my best friend. But I knew it wasn't real.

"You look really pretty today, Rachel. I've told you that right?"

"About a million times, Bones." I giggled and looked at Bones. He was watching Spock for what he was going to do about it. But all he had done so far only had made Spock look at him. I saw Bones jump in the corner of my eye. It looked like he had a really good idea. Oh crap, what was he going to do now? I watched Bones as he walked up to me and put his hands on either side of my face.

"I'm sorry," he apologized ahead of time before he started to lean down to kiss me. But he was pushed out of the way. I watched Spock take his place and he leaned down to kiss me. I heard Scotty groan and Bones whistle. Scotty was probably sad that he wasn't the one who made Spock crack. Spock pulled away and turned to the two, now smiling, boys. He pointed his finger back at me.

"Mine," Spock said sternly and I couldn't help but blush and smile widely at the frightened faced of the two threatened men. Then Spock just turned and kept walking. And I could have sworn I saw a grin on his face. Finally
