The moment Uenoyama finishes fixing the guitar, Mafuyu becomes completely attached to him. However, hearing Mafuyu's song by chance leaves a very deep impression on Uenoyama. " It's a fluff boy's love anime with music creating the base of the show. This anime is based on emotional impact, although a couple small romantic events do occur.

Given is a slow show and I do wonder if the pacing could be better. The beginning makes you immersed in the show, and gets even more pumped up for secrets of the main character's tragic past to be revealed. It gives you a small idea on the main character's backstory at the beginning, but you never get good details and you want to know the full story.

You have to let things slip by you at times, but still hold onto them, especially at the start. The show makes you first become weak, then attacks you with sad things after you're attached to the characters. It's very emotional though not a lot of super major things happen. Side characters hold a dear place in your heart, even if they are barely a part of the show. I can't explain it very well but you get connected with everyone and want to know everything, and wish for the best for everyone.

I feel like the ending was a little weird due to the main character getting over his past really fast after making amends for what he thought was his fault, but i'll take it. "

" Given is a BL anime that revolves around music. Their song as well as the graphics are good as well. The relationship of these two must be pinpoint. I really like Haruki. He is a sort of protector; he keeps his feelings to himself and does not want the group to disband. In sort of, he does not let his feelings affect the band. "

" I absolutely love the plot and the characters. Because it's so much mire than just romance. It talks about grieving, mourning, guilt and overcoming those feelings. And the music is really good as well. Especially, episode 9, that episode made me cry so hard; like you could hear the pain in his voice.

The graphics and art of very good as well. I love the character design and the overall construction of each of their personalities. "
