Hunter X Hunter | Hisoka Morow
A/n: this one gets a bit... kinky(?) at the end, but nothing too bad and it's not a lemon.
Imagine playing a game with Hisoka.

Heaven's Arena looms before you. Watching Gon's reaction is amusing as you enter and stand in line.
"You've been here before, Killua?"
"Uh-huh, when I was six."
"Wow!"
You smile down at the youngsters. You're not that old yourself, but you are over eighteen.
"I don't think you'll have any trouble making it to the 200th floor."
"Really?!"
You nod, "Yeah, you both are very talented."
"You're not so bad either," Killua mumbles.
"What was that?" You tease.
"Baka," he huffs, crossing his arms.
Gon grins up at you, "You're an awesome fighter too, Y/n!"
You smile back, "Thanks."

Sure enough, it was easy as cake for you and the kids.
Along the way, you met Zushi and Mr. Wing. They took it upon themselves to teach Gon and Killua about Nen. (You didn't need to learn because you already knew about Nen.)
And now you're approaching the 200th floor.
Trepidation sweeps through you as you step out of the elevator. Killua and Gon don't seem affected, excitedly looking around.
"Wow, the 200th floor is so fancy!"
"We should be careful," you warn, leading the way down the hallway.
"Where's the receptionist?" Killua asks.
You shrug, "It shouldn't be too hard to find it."
Gon grins, "We finally made it!"
"Yeah."
You smile at their happiness.
Stopping where the hallway splits, Gon and Killua release gasps and you frown.
'It feels like we're in a monster-filled jungle!'
"Let's go," Killua starts forward, Gon following.
You push ahead of them to stand at the front since you're the oldest.
Recognizing the use of Ren, you use Ten to defend yourself as the younger two freeze.
"This is murderous intent aimed at us!" Gon says.
"Show yourself!" Killua shouts at the whirling purple haze.
All of a sudden, a receptionist shows up.
She informs you of the rules, as you frown. Was that really her Nen?
As she talks, a playing card materializes next to her shoulder and sticks into the ground directly in front of you.
Gon and Killua gasp and you frown thoughtfully.
Where have you seen tactics like this before?
The receptionist flees and a clown like figure reveals himself.
"H-Hisoka!"
Oh, that's who it is.
The magician's yellow eyes land on you. You bend your knees a bit, settling into a fighting stance, keeping the younger two behind you.
"Why are you here?" Killua continues.
Hisoka stands opposite you, hand resting in his reddish pink locks.
"It's hardly that strange," he drawls, "I love to fight and this is a temple to fighting. And why are you here?"
You keep your mouth closed in a tight line.
"Just kidding. This was no coincidence," his yellow eyes meet yours. "I've been waiting for you."
"Remember how you ordered airship tickets over the cybernet? With a little effort, it's possible to determine when and where a someone will arrive. Well, I knew you would come here eventually. And so, as a veteran, I have been waiting for you."
Your eyes narrow.
After running into Hisoka a few times during the Hunter Exam, you know it's not a good thing to have his attention.
"It's still too early for you boys to step on this floor," he raises his arm.
You brace yourself, equipping your Ten. Gon and Killua aren't so lucky, having limited knowledge of Nen.
"How early depends on your efforts."
The boys move back a little, due to the force of Hisoka's Nen. You remain unfazed.
Hisoka walks away, to the other end of the hall, "Leave for now, it's too early right now."
The magician leans against the wall and seats himself.
"That's stupid!" Killua protests. "We just got up here!"
Oddly enough, you'd have to agree with Hisoka on this. Killua and Gon aren't ready to face the Nen users on this floor.
The white haired boy starts forward but is quick to stop when Hisoka reaches out his hand.
"I won't let you pass," Hisoka warns. "Not that you could anyway."
You make no move to help either child. Hisoka's right, they're not ready yet.
Crossing your arms, you turn and lean against the wall in the middle of the hall. Hisoka's attention never strays from the two boys, though.
The clownish man releases more of his murderous Nen as you watch.
"Don't be reckless!" Mr. Wong's voice calls out as Gon struggles to walk forwards.
"You have no defense against his Nen. Right now, you are like someone standing naked in a blizzard, wondering why it is cold."
Good analogy.
"If you continue to strain your body, you may die."
"This is Nen?! He can stop us from moving forward through willpower?! Don't lie!"
"Yes, I was lying. Though technically I wasn't lying completely," Mr. Wing explains. "I will teach you the truth about Nen."
About time.
"So, retreat for now."
Hisoka closes his eyes, content with this turn of events.
The two boys retreat to Mr. Wing's side. You stay put.
"Y/n, you hardly seem affected by his Nen," Gon looks to you.
You smile, "I already know Nen, don't worry, with Mr. Wing teaching you, you'll be unaffected by it too."
"You already know Nen!?! And you didn't teach us?!" Killua accuses.
"I'm not a teacher," you shrug.
The young boy glares at you as they walk away.
After they're gone, you saunter to the wall opposite Hisoka and sit down.
A large smile grows on his lips.
"Let's play a game," Hisoka suggests, staring at you.
You're entering dangerous territory.
"What kind of game?"
"We take turns throwing cards at each other. The first to flinch is the loser."
"What are the stakes?"
He hums, "If I win, you fight me."
You huff, raising your brow. You don't exactly have a death wish.
"And if you win, I won't hurt Gon too badly."
Gon, sweet innocent Gon. His only goal at the moment is to punch Hisoka in the face, and admirable goal really. But, if Hisoka wanted, he could kill the sweet child without much of a problem.
Having thought it over, you nod, "Deal."
Hisoka's grin widens.
He tosses you a pack of cards and plays with his own as he waits for you to get ready.
The game commences.
You rotate turns, Hisoka going first.
Card after card is thrown, neither of you flinching as the cards stab the wall beside you or the floor in front of you.
You can't lose, not with stakes like these.
He throws a card. It sticks into the wall beside your cheek, almost brushing against you.
"You've improved since the exam," Hisoka mentions as a card flies above his head.
During the exam, you were a bit of a scaredy-cat, afraid to utilize your skills. Now though, you're brave and willing to fight anyone or anything if you have to.
"Thank you. I see you're the same as ever."
He chuckles, "Naturally."
You breathe deeply, remaining calm as he throws another card.
"Why didn't you kill Gon?" You ask, curious.
"He has potential. I never kill unripened fruit."
You almost chortle at how ridiculous he sounds, "Fruit? Is that what he is to you?"
"That's what everyone is to me."
"So, am I 'ripened'?"
His teeth show in a wicked smile, "I wouldn't fight you if you weren't. You're a formidable foe."
"You're a foolish flatterer."
Another card right by his cheek.
"You're pretty good at this."
"What did I just say," you roll your eyes.
"I wasn't paying attention," he smirks.
Your small smile dissipates, "Tell you the truth, I don't really wanna fight you."
"Hm? Why is that?" His yellow eyes glint.
"You're skilled, experienced. I'm nowhere near your skill level and I know I have less then ten percent chance of winning," you admit.
"And yet you agreed to play."
"You know why I agreed."
He smiles, "Because you want to protect your friend."
You nod, tossing a card his way.
"Such a good girl~" he coos.
Just then, you sense two presences approaching. You tilt your head to see who it is, flinching when you feel a sting on your cheek.
A card sliced your skin, creating a thin line of blood.
Shocked, you turn to face the magician.
Hisoka smirks, "I win."

"I can't believe you agreed to fight him!" Killua chastises.
You scowl, "A deal is a deal."
"Baka!"
Ignoring his insults, you face Gon, "Sorry you can't watch the match."
"I'm sorry I can't watch it."
"You can watch the tape," you reassure with a smile.
He sighs, sad that he's being punished by Mr. Wing for fighting recklessly.
"I'm ready to go," you say, "Wish me luck."
"You won't need luck!" Gon grins, "You've got this!"
You pat his head, "Thanks, Gon."
Killua walks with you to the arena. You part ways and head off to the stage, the announcer screaming your name.
You try not to let your nerves get the best of you as Hisoka appears. The crowd roars for him, showing support.
Inhaling deeply, you focus intently at the weapon in your hand, a large mace. You're a Conjurer, able to create things from your aura. Your weapon of choice is a mace.
You're not exactly sure what type of Nen user Hisoka is, or how he fights.
Which means, you're at a disadvantage already.
The ref goes over the rules before the match begins.
You expect Hisoka to attack first, seeing as he's the one who wanted to fight you.
Contrary to your belief, he waits for you to move first.
The tension is suffocating.
His piercing yellow eyes never leave you. You initiate your Zetsu, concealing your aura from everyone.
Acting swiftly, you swing your weapon towards him, feinting to the right but switching at the last minute to hit him from the left.
Surprised at your agility, he barely manages to dodge, backing up.
You growl, unleashing a string of unending attacks, "Fight back!"
"I thought you didn't want to fight me?" He teases.
Before you can react, he moves to punch you. You use some aura at the last minute to block his attack.
That was close.
What you didn't notice, was that he attached some of his Nen to your neck, forming a sort of collar connected to a leash-like string of pink Nen.
Smirking like he already won, Hisoka rests his hand on his chin, "You're turning me on~"
"Gross," you frown, attacking again.
At the last minute, you conjure another mace behind Hisoka. Hidden using In, the mace manages to land a direct hit to his back.
You grin, happy about your small victory.
Much to your displeasure, he straightens right away.
'Schwing!'
"Now I'm really turned on~!" He says, grin never faltering.
A bit disgusted, (and somewhat turned on yourself), you think about how to attack next.
Manifesting small knives, you throw them at the magician.
He dodges them easily, but you use the distraction to punch his face.
His grin fades as a bit of blood leaks from his nose.
You gulp as his cold eyes dig into yours.
"You're a Conjurer, correct?"
You make no response.
"It's only fair that I tell you about my ability," he continues. "I am able to turn my aura into a sticky substance like gum. I call it Bungee Gum after my favourite chewing gum."
Where's he going with this?
"It has the properties of rubber and gum."
"Your point is?"
He smirks, pulling something towards him. Suddenly, you're violently tugged forwards by the neck.
"What-?!"
Quickly using Gyo, you realize what happened.
He collared you like a dog and you didn't even notice.
Trying to peel the Nen off you, you glare at Hisoka as panic swells in your chest.
"So cute~" he whispers before tugging on the leash again.
You collapse to your knees, unable to stand because of his strength. Glaring at him you aim a kick at his legs. He easily dodges.
"I love that look on you, dear."
"Screw you, Hisoka!" You growl, managing to stand.
"C'mon, you like this," he whispers, leaning close to you, "Admit it."
"Never."
He raises a brow before backhanding you. You grit your teeth, embracing the pain.
A few more hits, and the match is over.
Hisoka won, obviously, although he never hit you too hard.
You trudge down an empty hall, wincing at the bruises littered on your body.
Hisoka appears before you, grinning like nothing happened.
Before he can open his mouth, you quickly slam your lips on his. Kissing him passionately, you run your hands through his hair.
Stunned, he blinks at you when you pull away.
"I'll admit it," you turn and walk away from him, "I liked it."
Before you can round the corner, you're pulled by an invisible force straight back to Hisoka.
"I never took my Nen off you~"
You chuckle, "I know~"
Biting your lip, you place your hand on his chest, "Why don't we take this someplace else?"
"Why not," he leans into you, "I'll make you scream my name~"
A shiver of excitement races down your spine, "I'm counting on it."
