Here we are again, with another part of the previous rant. Today, we will talk about Kuroko no Basuke fanfictions.

Firstly, I would like to tell you something. Everyone thought to make a KnB fanfiction with this plot:

~ Their OC is a girl who was playing in Teikou Basketball Club but something happened and everyone sepereated. Now, in high school, the girl attends Seirin and sees Kuroko again, she joins the basketball team as a player and etc etc

Trust me, even I was thinking of starting a fanfiction like this one. But I turned down the idea immediately because there are a bunch of ideas that are impossible to happen.

Firstly, how is possible for a girl to join a boy's team? If you are supposing that she can because there isn't any team for girls, forget it. This isn't an excuse of putting a girl in a boys' team. And especially when there is indeed a basketball club for girls!!! Ah, let me guess why when she is a girl she can join an elite boys' team. BECAUSE HER POWER SURPASSES THAT FROM AKASHI'S?! No! The fanfiction is utterly fucked up.

Then, there is a stereotype which says that boys have much more power than girls. Well guess what: It is NOT A FREAKING STEREOTYPE. IT IS THE SHITTY REALITY.

Your OC who is a girl can't win anyone any further than Kagami and Aomine. And why? Because as much power or basketball skills your OC has, she can't win those guys, especially when they are in the zone! Okay, I understand if she can win against Midorima or Kuroko because those two aren't as powerful as for example Akashi.

An example? I was reading a fanfiction where the main protagonist was a girl, she won Kagami and Aomine when they were in the motherfucking zone and it proved that she can win Akashi on one-on-one!! Ah, what a surprise~!

Just WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WRITING? If you have read the latest chapters of KnB, you must have seen that before the Winter Cup, when Akashi was training, he won alone against Kotarou, Eikichi and Reo. WHICH MEANS THAT HE WON AGAINST THREE OF THE BEST PLAYERS.

A conclusion for this part of the rant is that your character can't possibly win against Kagami, Aomine, Murasakibara or Akashi ALONE.

Anyways, moving on. There isn't any rule which says that you MUST create an OC that plays basketball. In my opinion, if you want to make a love story, you better make it like a short of AU fanfiction (alternative universe). For example, in iluvgirlsinglasses' fanfiction, "Bittersweet Liaison", the main protagonist haven't even thought about playing basketball. In fact, there isn't a lot of basketball in there but there is romance between the OC and Murasakibara (in that fanfiction).

Also, something for the end. My friend told me about a KnB fanfiction she had read and it is an Akashi x OC one. IT IS TRAGIC. And guess what was the appearance of the OC? SHE HAD HETEOCHROMATIC EYES LIKE AKASHI. Lemme tell ya somethin': Akashi WASN'T born with heteochromatic eyes. Somehow, the mangaka made a yellow eye to appear during their middle school years. Another person with heteochromia in this anime? FUCK NO.
