Sound of laughter. That's what filled Yellow's ears.
But what was better than his situation at the moment?
The sound of your friends laughter, the sun gently shining on you, while you're reading your favourite book?

Well, he could do without the splashes that sometimes came his way.
"Second, please, we're reading here!" Chosen yelled from besides Yellow as they both got splashed again.
"Then you shouldn't be this close to the water!" Green replied back to Chosen.
Chosen stood up and walked over to the two that were having a water fight.

"Cho! Watch out!" Red yelled.
Chosen turned around to see what was wrong, but he was too late. The beach ball that Red and Blue were playing with, bounced off of Chosen's head.
They all watched in fear of an outburst from Chosen, but it never came. Or, well, not as bad as they had expected. He just growled a bit and walked towards their house.
"You will regret this!" He yelled before he slammed the door shut behind him.

But both Second and Yellow had seen the small moment that Chosen had a sly smile.
"O shit- Second, you know him best out of us. Is he really mad at me?" Green asked.
"I think he's not too mad at you" Second said.
"But to be fair, I don't know him that well either"

"I think we'll be fine. His book didn't get wet, and it is warm enough that a few spats of water isn't too big of a problem." Yellow said as he was looking at the book Chosen had dropped when he went back inside.
Green let out a big sigh of relief at hearing that.

"O thank Alan. I really don't want to make him mad." Green said.
They all knew why. The hollowheads had powers that the others could only dream of.

"Well, if Chosen isn't too mad about this... Can we continue?" Blue asked.
"You won't get too mad if we splash you a bit, right Yellow?" Second asked the yellow coded guy.
"Nah, but you know what? I'll go sit in the shade under the tree. I shouldn't stay in the sun for too long anyway"
Yellow stood up, took his (and Chosen's) book and went to sit against said tree.
"Have fun!" He smiled at them before refocussing on his book.
"You too!"

And as said, they continued they games. But it slowly merged into one big game. Blue would hit the ball over to Green, while Second splashed Red as well as he could before he had to bounce the ball to the next person. It was all fun and games as their laughter once again filled the air.
"Red! This one's yours!" Blue yelled as the order of the ball was at random.
Red bounced the ball over to Second, and looked over his shoulder towards their house. This game would go on for quite some time, but it never seemed to bore any of them. Especially when one of them has to be fast to not let the ball touch the water, falling into it themselves in the process. It was so much fun, that they didn't even notice when one of them left the pool...

But while they were playing and having fun, Green suddenly fell forward into the shallow water.
"Ow, what was that?!" He yelled once he got himself up on hands and knees, also having turned himself towards the source.

"Revenge!" Chosen yelled, standing on top of a large boulder to look even more intimidating.
He was throwing a filled water balloon up in his hand, clearly the weapon of choice that Green had just been hit by.
"Hey! No fair! I don't have a weapon or defence to protect myself with!" Green yelled back.

But that was when Chosen got sprayed with water. Everyone turned around to look at the source of where it came from.
"We'll protect you Green!" Red yelled, holding his watergun in the ready to shoot again if it was needed.
Right behind Red stood Dark and Vic, both holding two waterguns.
They threw them over at the three that were still standing in the pool. Second and Blue caught them, and ran over to protectively stand between Green and Chosen.

"O? You wanna go? Then let's go!" Second and Blue yelled as they pointed their waterguns towards Chosen.

But the first strike was not made by any of those three. Not even by any of the other trio.
No, this one came from a new opponent.
"Purple!" Green yelled at the sight of his newest friend.

"But, how?!" Chosen yelled, looking at the young adult that had thrown the warning shot.
"You should never mutter your plan when there's someone within ear shot." Purple explained.
"Yeah, okay, I get that. But how did you prepare? I was in the kitchen practically the entire time!"
"It pays to have some form of flight. Helps you gets down safely from the first floor to the ground."

"Ah, bathroom. Smart kid." Dark reacted.
"Thank you. But we all have some form of weapon, so let's get this party started." Purple said as he walked over to Green with a bucket with water balloons.

"Wait! What about Yellow?" Blue yelled before all hell would break loose.
"Ha!" A laugh came from where Yellow had been seated the entire time.
"You really think I didn't come prepared when I helped you build this?" He said as he pulled yet another watergun from behind him.
"How do we have so many?" Blue muttered, more to himself than an actual question.

"Okay, now everyone ready?!" Dark asked, getting impatient based off of his tone.
"Yes!" Got yelled eight times, meaning everyone had some form of water-based weapon.
"Then let's this party started!"

Water came from every side as all 9 opened fire at the same time.
And that was the moment that the four in the pool realised that they were in a pretty big disadvantage because of their position. But it did give them a different advantage compared to the others, they could be attacked from every side, but that also meant they could attack every other side quite easily. And, all those with waterguns, had to come near them to refill. Which in turn meant easier targets.

Green and Purple were surprisingly holding very well against Red and Vic, who arguably had the far better weapons.
Dark meanwhile wasn't much interested in helping his two friends against Green and Purple. He was far more interested in trying to get a good hit on Chosen. Which was proven to be quite hard, but considering the distance between them, it wasn't that surprising. But he managed to spray Chosen a couple of times, which lead to Chosen becoming more and more determined to take down Blue and Second.

But the main focus was on his 'brother' so to speak, as Blue was preoccupied by being Yellow's target.
"Give up Second! I have the high ground!" Chosen yelled.
"Never! I have the better weapon!" Second reacted, and shot at Chosen.
But Chosen was fast, and was able to avoid the spray of water. Second's spray of water, not Dark's.
But Second too noticed that that was not his, so he turned around. Which proved to be a very bad idea, as the next attempt from Dark did not hit Chosen again, but Second, square in the face.

He wiped the water off of his face, and repositioned himself so that Dark was now his target. Chosen seemed to have read his mind, as he came into the water to have a better reach for targeting Dark.
"Hey! Two against one isn't fair!" Dark yelled in an indignant tone.
"Sorry! We're a bit busy holding off these two!" Red and Vic responded to Dark as they had serious trouble holding their targets at bay.

"Give up Red! We're stronger!" Green called out and threw another balloon at Red.
But instead of the previous moments where one got hit, stumbled for a bit, and got back into a counter attack, Red cried out a bit, stumbled, and fell.
"O shit-" Green mumbled and quickly ran over to Red.
"I'm sorry Red! Are you okay?" He asked as he knelt down next to his friend.

"Urg, yeah, I'm okay I think." Red grumbled as he held a hand over his left eye.
"I really didn't mean to hit you too hard."
"I know." Red said with a sweet and reassuring smile.
"But it was my intention to lure you out of your lair." He continued with a mischievous grin.
And shot Green square in the chest.

"O no~ I'm defeated!" Green sputtered out as dramatically as he could.
But before he could fall down, Vic had taken one of the waterballoons and squeezed it until it had popped above Greens head.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm dead, I've been defeated." Green said with a laugh in his voice as he was laying on the grass.

"One down, 5 more to go." Vic announced for his team.
The mentioned 5 took a quick look at each other.
"But can you take on all 5 of us at the same time?" Second asked with a smirk.
There was an audible gulp from Red.
"Probably not..." Dark admitted.
"But we will die trying!" Vic finished.

"Then, it is time to avenge our friend!" Blue yelled and pointed his watergun into the air.
And once again, water came from every side. But this time it was over pretty fast. Vic had taken on Yellow, and Dark had taken on Chosen, which left red to fend against Second, Blue and Purple. Needless to say, Red was out of the game pretty fast.

Dark, meanwhile, had been successful in striking some good hits on Chosen, who had quit on his own terms when he was completely soaked. But then he had to deal with Second and Purple... It didn't help that Vic dramatically collapsed next to him, showing he had lost the battle against Yellow, who somewhere along the line got backup from Blue.

"Alright." Dark said as he put his hand up in the air.
"I've fought Second before, and I've learned that he's stronger. I surrender, you win." Dark explained as he lended his watergun over towards the two, as a sign he really gave up. Purple took some steps forward and took Dark's watergun.
"We have been victorious!" The remaining four cheered.

"Does that mean we can move again now?" Green and Red asked as they lifted themselves up from their place on the grass.
"Yeah, battle is over." Yellow said. Walking over to the three on the grass, and helping them up.
"Vic, do you want some help getting up?" Yellow asked the still laying man.
"No thanks, the grass is quite comfortable actually"
"Alright then" Yellow responded with a shrug.

"Hey, it's getting quite late..." Purple noticed.
"We should probably go fix something for dinner" Green said, mesmerized by the setting sun.
"Loser's cook dinner!" Blue yelled before sprinting away towards the house.
"O no! You're going to help!" Dark exclaimed and ran after the Blue coloured teenager.

The others laughed at the chase that had unfolded itself in front of them.
And they all happily chatted amongst the group as another day had come to a close.
