"Since we are now getting to know each other, why don't you stay with Livingston?"

Zoey immediately asked causing Vitani to groan in annoyance as she looked to her mate.

"Did you really bring humans here to try to convince me to go back to Animalia?"

She asked. Livingston scoffs.

"They found the book, I never mentioned a thing about you"

He said causing Alex to face palm.

"Nice job Big L, you should never tell a girl that"

He said with a whisper to Livingston.

"Be as it may but my answer is no"

She said as she lead them to her nearby den.

"No?"

Zoey asked in surprised.

"No because I don't belong there"

Vitani answered as she made her way to lay down. Livingston happily smiled as he went to lay down across from her making sure to block the entrance.

"Well why not?"

She asked.

"Yeah, I mean Animalia is for everyone including humans"

Alex said trying his best to convince her. Vitani slightly frown in thought as she looked to her mate who has his eyes pleading at her hoping her to say yes.

"I don't know"

She said finally.

"How about a visit? You can see a lot has changed at Animalia"

Zoey said. Vitani let out a sigh in defeat.

"Fine but only for a while"

She said.

"Nothing's changed here"

Vitani said in boredom as the animalians quickly got quiet as they saw a new visitor. Not too far away, Tyrannicus happily smiled as he watch the lioness from afar.

"Why hello. Who is she?"

He asked no one in particular.

"Livingston's mate sir"

Fuisha said scaring Tyrannicus as he tried to calm his racing heart.

"I told you to stop jumping out at me like that"

He said as he cleared his throat. Fuisha rolled her eyes as she stood by her boss.

"What is she doing here? Maybe I should introduce myself"

He said to himself as he made his way out of his office and towards the cafe to meet the lioness.

"My the flowers surely has bloom this early"

He said to Vitani who looked to him in surprise but remained quiet.

"How about I show you around?"

"Sorry but I already have a chaperone"

She said.

"And just who might that be? I don't see anyone?"

He asked ignoring Alex and Zoey who glared at him.

"How about you turn around"

Said a familiar voice. Tyrannicus turned around and was unfazed by Livingston's glare.

"My mistake, I don't see much"

He said sternly towards the leader of Animalia. Livingston growled causing Alex and Zoey to quickly jump on their feet.

"Vitani, how about we show you the library"

Alex said pulling her along while Zoey pushed Livingston away from Tyrannicus.

*Library*

"The nerve, I mean really. He knows that you're mine and still tries to intervene"

Livingston said pacing back and forth while Vitani paid on the couch looking at him lovingly as she can clearly see the jealousy in his eyes and voice. Vitani hop off the couch and made her way to her mate and licked his lips causing him to stop as he smiled at her mate before nuzzling her. Livingston smiled at her as she pulled away with a smile making her way to the railing to look at the core. Alex and Zoey smiled at each other.

"Looks like everything's okay"

Alex said.

"Yeah, it looks like she's gonna stay"

Zoey said in agreement. Soon the sound of humming caught Vitani's attention. Vitani frown as she crouched down to the ground slowly making her way to the sound and letting out a growl as she saw a rhino putting the books in the right place. Reenie soon stopped as she heard the growling loud and clear. She turned in shock.

"Oh my!"

She yelled getting Livingston's and the guardians attention.

"Why are you still working here?!"

She yelled angrily.

"Vitani!"

Zoey yelled

"Reenie"

Alex yelled.

"She started it. I was just putting the books on the shelf and she came at me"

Reenie said in defense. Vitani continue to growl as she moved away from them before looking at her mate with a harsh glare.

"What did I do?"

He asked confused.

"Why is she here? You know that I hate it when she's here"

She said angrily as she walked away with a huff. Livingston remained quiet as he looked to Reenie, Alex and Zoey.

"She's hot when she's angry"

He commented.

"Okay, this is why you and Vitani are never together"

Zoey said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Go after her and talk to her"

Alex said.

"What do I say?"

He asked.

"She's your mate, think of something"

Zoey said annoyed. Livingston nodded as he walked away. Alex and Zoey shook their head before looking to Reenie.

"Are you okay Reenie?"

Alex asked

"I'm fine thank you, just a little shaken up"

She said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry but I just had to ask. Why does Vitani have a problem with you working here?"

She asked.

"It's a long story"

She said

"We have time"

Alex said as he waited for Reenie to explain.

"It's completely ridiculous"

She said hoping to avoid the conversation.

"Hey, we'll try to understand"

Zoey said comfortingly.

"She thinks Livingston and I are having a secret affair"

She said with a sigh. Alex and Zoey looked to each other in surprise.

"But she knows the both of you are just friends right?"

Zoey asked.

"That doesn't matter to her apparently"

She said as she grabbed a book.

"Now please, I have a lot of work to get done before my date arrives"

She said leaving Alex and Zoey to their own thoughts.

"Come on Zoe, maybe Livingston has already spoken to her"

He said. Zoey nodded in agreement as they were about to exit the library, Livingston came in.

"Where's Vitani?"

Alex asked.

"She went home, she's quite a catch right?"

He asked with a smile as he walked away to where he abandoned his book by the love seat.

"Wait did I miss something? Why are you calm about this?"

Zoey asked placing both her hands on either side of her hips.

"Because it's a natural thing"

He answered plainly.

"Natural?"

Alex asked with a raised eyebrow. Livingston opened up his book as he looked to the guardians with a smile.

"She's in heat, she's just territorial, that's all"

He answered before reading his book leaving Alex and Zoey to their own thoughts.
