the train journey seemed to be infinite. I gazed out of the window, seeing houses,fields,streets over and over again, occasionally a train station. After a little while my dad said to me,

"Melissa, there's something I should tell you."

"what is it dad?" I replied, keen to know why I was on this stupid train journey. Dad looked at me and told me,

" you are an Creatarr."

"A What??" I said, sure dad was joking.

" You are a  Creatar." dad repeated. He continued,

" Melissa, a Creatarr is a human who can control animals using an amulet to start with, then their mind." dad told me. Dad looked serious, so I knew he wasn't joking.

"so why are we on this train going to nowhere?" I questioned dad."I was getting to that point." dad replied. He looked sad as he said his next words,
" Melissa, because you are now beginning to discover your Creatarr powers, you are no longer safe at home. There are mad people, bad people out in this part of the country who would use your powers to do terrible things." he sighed and held my hand comfortingly.
" so I must send you away to your aunt Louises boarding school until you have fully mastered your power. That's why I asked you to pack a suitcase." he finished.

" Wait." I said, " If you are not a Creatarr -  how did I get my powers?"

dad looked sad and said,
" your mother was a Creatar." was all he said. I didn't say anything for a while, I had this new bit of knowledge to think about.

Then I asked my dad,
" how do you know I'm a Creatarr anyway? "

Dad said to me,
" remember that mouse 'dream'? "

I nodded, shuddering at the thought of that horrid dream.

"Well Melissa, that was not a dream actually. YOU actually were the mouse. Only because you never realized you were controlling the mouse, the mouse died. I don't know how you made the mouse roll on its side or why you woke up when the mouse died, but all I know is that 'dream' was a Creatarr vision."

I pulled a face, baffled. How could I possibly have  controlled the mouse? Dad then added,
" I'm sorry if I have confused you, Melissa, you'll learn more at aunt Louises school for Creatarr's."

Dad then stopped talking. I pulled out my 3DS from my backpack and played a game. My new home and school was still 2 hours away. Eventually though, Dad stood up from his seat and told me to put my 3DS away. I picked up my suitcase and when the train came to a halt, dad and I hopped off. We got in a taxi and half an hour later, we arrived at a grand house. It was ginormous and looked pretty posh. All around me, there were lots of ornamental shrubs and a  forest nearby. The forest looked dark and mysterious, almost magical... I gazed around and saw the stone bricks which the grand mansion were built of had intricate animal designs carved into them. Ahead of me, a sign read,

" welcome to the Louise school for Creatarr's "

I stepped into the school's main entrance and saw my aunt Louise for the first time ever.

" Goodbye Melissa." Dad said, hugging me.

" Whatever happens, be strong" he told me and then he left to catch his train back home.
My Aunt Louise came up to me. She spoke calmly.

" Welcome to your new home, Melissa. We hope you'll enjoy your time here." she said, smiling.
