My Buzzard eyes spotted Sally talking to someone - A Jadecape!

"Hide in the trees!" I cried to Belle and we flew down into a tree.

Once perched on a branch, we both began to listen into Sally's conversation. We had no choice - this conversation could answer several unanswered questions I had about Sally and where the Jadecapes were located. So we listened in and we heard Sally say to the Jadecape,

"No! I will not! I want to go back there and see my friends and just be happy for once!"

The Jadecape responded,
"That school is for Creatarrs!" The Jadecape spat the word 'Creatarr' like it was a nasty piece of dirt.

Sally shouted back,
"In case you haven't noticed, I am a Creatarr!"

The Jadecape told her,
"I don't have time for insignificant arguments. Stay here and reflect on your bad behaviour. And don't you dare go back to The Louise school for Creatarr's!"

The Jadecape left Sally alone, walking briskly away. Sally stood there, Stunned. Then she began to run back along the track in the direction of School. I looked at Belle, Belle looked at me. We both knew we had to stop her as the school would be empty - 4 hours had passed and everyone would've been evacuated by now. Belle flew in front of her and I screeched as I hovered in front of her. Sally was at first frightened but she eventually saw my Creatarr paw mark (the strange paw-print symbol)

"A Creatarr!" she said, shocked.

"Please reveal yourselves."

I swooped down and landed on the forest floor, with Belle next to me. We both shut our eyes and after opening them again, we were back to normal. Sally looked as if she couldn't quite believe we were here. She kept opening and shutting her mouth and then she smiled. She ran over to Belle and I and we all hugged each other hard.

"Belle! Melissa! You've come to save me! You have no idea how I felt last night when they captured me!" she sobbed happily.

As I hugged my friend, I was tempted to just rescue Sally and leave the others. It would be so easy and I wouldn't have any problems rescuing just her... though I realized something. Taking the easy way out by only rescuing one pupil wouldn't be fair on the other pupils. I had rescued one pupil, so I was perfectly capable of rescuing others. Besides,  there was no reason why I shouldn't try to rescue them. I remembered something my dad had told me once,

"Better to make an effort on something and fail, than to chicken out and never know if you had been successful or not."

Sally stopped hugging us and told Belle and I,

"Come on, Belle and Melissa! Lets get back to school and continue learning! Lessons won't have started yet and we will be back in time for breakfast!"

I told her,

"Actually, Sally, we can't."

As soon as I said that, Sally's face fell. She looked at me disbelievingly and said,

"What? What do you mean we can't go back! I know the robbery will have impacted the school, but it happened at 02:00 in the morning! They won't even know I am gone!"

So then I responded,

"Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but..."

I told Sally all about what happened after she had been kidnapped. I told her about how the headmistress had ordered everyone to evacuate the building, how I had refused to go and how Belle and I had flown all the way across the woods, stopping when we heard her voice. I admitted I had listened into her conversation and then I stopped talking.

Belle asked Sally,

"Why were you talking to a Jadecape? They are a Creatarrs worst enemy!"

Sally hung her head shamefully and said to us,

"Belle and Melissa, Remember how 7 months ago, I told you I was worried about something 'too horrible to think about let alone say'  after you two said I was hiding something? Well I am afraid I lied to you. I told you the teachers said the people wouldn't know about us, but really they said the Jadecapes were planning to attack the school in a few months time... "

Sally burst into tears after saying this and we both rushed to comfort her. Belle said to Sally,

"Sally, it's okay, we're not mad at you for lying to us, just upset about it. But Sally, that response doesn't answer our question. I know there must be a reason why you were especially worried about the kidnapping news. And I have a feeling it links to why you were talking to that Jadecape."

Sally sniffled,

"Your still my friends now, but you won't want to be once you hear why I was talking to the Jadecape..."

We all listened, waiting for Sally to say why and she then sobbed,

"That Jadecape is my Uncle!"

Belle and I stood there, shocked. A Jadecape for a Creatarr's Uncle! Poor Sally.

Sally continued, saying,

"I had heard my uncle say he was going to forcibly remove me from my school if I didn't drop out from it myself. But my parents wanted me to stay on, as they are Creatarrs and I had made friends with you two and was having a great time so I didn't leave! And now I should've done, because I have got you two and 9 other pupils into such a mess!"

Sally sat down and cried hard. She sat there sobbing for a long time before telling us,

"I don't even know why I am telling you all this."

I knelt down beside Sally and Belle and I told her,

"Sally, we're still your friends! What's more, the fact 9 pupils have been captured isn't your fault. It's your uncles, because he did the deed. I think it's time we showed your uncle we Creatarrs have had enough of being bullied into doing things we don't want to do. Your being bullied into abandoning your Creatarr life, the 9 pupils are likely being bullied into using their powers for evil - "

" -They are, and cannot use their powers for evil." Sally cut in. I continued,

"So we need to stand up to this bully and show him we're not going to put up with this injustice any longer!"

Sally nodded and so did Belle.

"Lets do this!" we all cried, hi fiving each other.

"But where is the Jadecapes camp?" I inquired.

"I know where it is." Sally smiled,
"Come and I'll show you the way to their camp."

We stood up and brushed the mud off our clothes. We left the woods, unaware of what would be in store for us in the Jadecapes camp.
