"Everyone, I know your talking about me, so don't lie." I paused, wondering what to say. I wasn't used to speaking to groups of people, normally I would be too shy. I continued, "What were you saying about me?"

The girls replied,

"We were never talking directly about you - honestly we wern't. We were talking about Sally and how she's been really weird since you arrived here. We want to know why she's like this."

I replied,

"I can't really aid your investigation here everyone, I don't know anyone well enough to be of use." I added regretfully. I turned to walk away saying,

"I just didn't want people talking about me behind my back. That's why I interrupted you. Bye." I was sauntering over to my bed when one of the girls, came and turned me around,

"Hey, you are useful and you won't be the only one. I am going too. We are looking out for any clues as to why Sally's gone strange." The girl had dark brown hair with a dark blue streak in it, she seemed cool and confident, someone who would be a great friend to have on your side.

I asked this amazing girl,

"What would we do if she saw us? Sally would go crackers!"

The girl shook her head,

"Saw us? She wouldn't! She wouldn't suspect us if we travelled in the mind of an animal and made the animal listen in!" She proclaimed.

I wasn't so sure of this idea so I said,

"Well, I know I could do that but what about you? You're only on a yellow amulet!"

The girl laughed and told me,

"My names Belle by the way but anyway, we would simply pinch blue amulets from Firebirds's office! Come on, don't look so worried Melissa, it'll be fun and needs to be done. Who knows if Sally is hiding something really dangerous? Please do it!"

I hesitated. If I did this, I would be betraying my only classmate who was friendly to me and would give off a bad impression if caught. If I didn't, something really bad could happen and we'd have no warning about it. It might be fun...

I made up my mind and nodded,

"Yes, i'll join you, Belle, we need to find out why or something bad will happen!"

I think that was one of my most important decisions ever made.

Whether it would go right or wrong I had no idea. I thought it wouldn't be a very significant decision.

More like VERY significant.
