The Jadecape 'Cedric' gruffly told me to get going, kicking me to walk. He took our amulets away, throwing them into a box. My friends and myself  were walked back down to the stage, being watched by every Jadecape in the tent. We were shoved onto the stage, closely watched by two Jadecape guards. When we were all on stage, The leader of the Jadecapes walked up to Sally, a mean look on his face.

He said to her,

"So here's our little runaway girl? And she thought she could go to her precious little school without being brought back? Silly little fool." he laughed as Sally looked offended.

He continued,

"Your a very bright girl you know - but not bright enough to stop you bringing back friends to help you try to  rescue Creatarrs."

The Jadecapes in the audience laughed and I realized he was trying to make us embarrassed about ourselves, for a reason I did not know.

"How cruel!" I thought as he continued to tease Sally.

Then when he said,

"You always think up the dumbest ideas. Fancy you leading a team."

I told him,

"Sally didn't lead the team - I did. She used her best ideas and I am proud of my team."

The leader of the Jadecapes turned round and walked over to me, his green boots clacking noisily on the wooden stage.

He said to me witheringly,

"You thought your team was the best? So how come you have failed then? I'm not surprised you failed - Sally is a rubbish team member."

He was still managing to bully Sally as well as insult me! But why he was I still didn't know. But what I did know was he certainly enjoyed being nasty. The leader of the Jadecapes went back over to insult Sally and I felt angrier with him as he taunted her. Finally, he stopped taunting Sally and I would have gone over to comfort her if 'Cedric' wasn't stopping me move elsewhere. However, then the leader of the Jadecapes started to talk to the Jadecape audience, telling them that we were fine examples of Creatarrs - living up to all their expectations. He laughed as he told lies about how rubbish Creatarrs were and the Jadecape audience did too.

He then said to the Jadecapes,

"Ladies and gentlemen Jadecapes, I never planned a Creatarr event tonight but because the prisoners decided to volunteer for this, we shall have one!" 

The leader of the Jadecapes encouraged the audience to clap a round of applause as he turned to face us. I did not like the look in his eye as he smiled at us. He walked over to me and told me,

"I never meant what I said about you. Now you see that person over there?"

I saw a Jadecape guard at the other end of the stage and nodded.

"HE forced me to say insults about you. You think he needs to pay? Scratch him in animal form and that'll be a suitable punishment."

I realized immediately what he was trying to do. He was lying, and trying to force me to do evil in such a lame way. Well I wouldn't try to do evil and couldn't even if I tried. My Creatarr powers wouldn't let me.

I said to him truthfully,

"I can't - my powers won't let me."

The leader of the Jadecapes told me,

"Oh don't worry - You will do it."

"What do you mean?" I trembled.

"You'll do it for your friends of course - How else? And of course, you don't give up do you? So you won't give up trying to do this. I'm certain you can do it - but you won't because you obviously don't care about good." The leader of the Jadecapes  told me, a wicked grin on his face.

He was well practiced in a bullies language he was. Mainly because he actually was a bully.

He told me evilly,

"Alright, you must do evil - but its good because you'll save your friend."

He ordered Cedric to turn  me around so I could see what he was doing to Sally. He put a spiked club very near her and then said,

"Use your powers or Sally gets hurt. Hard choice eh?"

"I cannot and will not." I told him firmly.

"Neither can we." Jet butted in.

"Shut up boy. Can't you see I'm talking to someone better than you?" The leader of the Jadecapes told him firmly, managing to offend Jet at the same time.

He then continued to talk to me,

"Okay, if you fancy embarrassing the Creatarrs by not doing any good tonight, go back to your cell and stay there. But Melissa..."

"What?" I asked.

"I knew you were always a terrible friend  right from looking at you. Fancy letting your friends be caught. I bet that's why your dad left you at school - he didn't want to be around you."

All the Jadecapes watched attentively, wondering how I would react to this insult. When the leader of the Jadecapes told me this I felt  something very strange. It felt as if all my feelings from today and when I had failed my rescue mission were crashing down on me. If I were a normal human, like my past friend, (The owner of the mouse who made me discover my Creatarr powers)  I would be mega depressed at this but I felt different. In fact, I felt powerful. Very powerful, like I was more than just a teenage  Creatarr.  I blinked several times and all of a sudden, I felt something on my back. A feeling I had only got before  when travelling in the mind of an animal. Behind me, I heard Jet, Sally the 9 pupils gasp. I also heard some of the Jadecapes in the audience shuffle uncomfortably in their seats. The leader of the Jadecapes was talking to another Jadecape, so didn't hear the shocked gasps coming from the audience. I looked at myself and saw stripes. Orange and black stripes all over me. I saw whiskers at the side of my face and I had a tail. I almost gasped myself - I was travelling in the mind of a tiger!

I thought to myself,

"I am powerful now, so it's time to teach the leader of the Jadecapes a lesson. We Creatarrs  will not be bullied!"

'Cedric' the Jadecape let me go, scared of me and I confidently stepped across the stage. I approached the leader of the Jadecapes. He was still talking to the other Jadecape and as he chatted, I growled behind him. I heard more gasps from the audience this time. The leader of the Jadecapes turned around and I went behind him.

"What on earth was that?!" he shouted, irritated.

Behind him, I growled a low growl again and he spun round to face me immediately. When he saw me in tiger form, he shrieked in fright.

"Who let that tiger in here?!" he shouted angrily.

I shut my eyes and changed back, human again in the wink of an eye.

"No one did. I became a tiger. What's more, I am fed up with your bullying attitude. It's time you saw that Creatarrs are NOT rubbish."

The leader of the Jadecapes told me shakily,

"Being a large animal requires effort. You won't be able to change back into a tiger - you'll be too tired."

I retaliated,

"Oh yes I can - and as for the tired bit, we Creatarrs are tired of you Jadecapes!"

With that I changed back into a tiger, still feeling powerful and stared him. For several minutes, we just continued staring at each other, we were both afraid of what might happen if we ended the staring match. My friends watched nervously, not wanting me hurt and the audience were on the edge off their seats, afraid of me. We stared at each other in silence. Finally, the leader of the Jadecapes ordered Cedric to fetch a spear and remove me from the tent. As Cedric approached me tentatively, brandishing a nasty looking spear, I growled and then leaped over him, landing in front of a nervous looking Jadecape leader. I roared loudly and tripped the leader of the Jadecapes over furiously. Cedric gasped and ran off stage to get away from me. The other guards did too, so my friends were free from their clutches. I stood over the leader of the Jadecapes so he couldn't escape and stared at him angrily. I opened my mouth so he could see my sharp teeth and hear my roar loud and clear. Now the leader of the Jadecapes looked properly scared. I watched as my friends and the 9 pupils, unguarded, stood beside me.

Belle questioned him,

"Now do you see we are more than just silly little fools?"

The leader of the Jadecapes, turning his head away from me, answered,

"Yes. I do. Now let me go!"

Belle asked him,

"I don't think you mean it. Do you see we  are we are more than silly little fools?"

The leader of the Jadecapes looked my friends and I in the eye and said,

"Yes! I really do! Please let me get away from you now!"

Jet told him sternly,

"Okay, we will let you go but only on one condition - you let us go and never bother any Creatarrs again."

The leader of the Jadecapes seemed to be happy at this news. I realized he was thinking he could always lock us up again tomorrow and forget the promise.

Sally then told him,

"We don't trust you, so sign it in ink to prove you are actually going to keep this promise. Promise you wont harm any Creatarrs again or we will have you pinned down like this until you do."

Sally ran to the side of the stage and grabbed a pen and paper. Running back, she scribbled on 'I promise to not let anyone  harm any Creatarrs ever again.' and then handed the pen and paper over to him. We waited and waited for him to sign the paper. He appeared to be trying to not sign it, in the hope we would get bored and leave him but we didn't. Eventually, after most of the Jadecapes started to leave the tent (which was quite a while) the leader of the Jadecapes sighed.

He grumbled,

"I can't believe it - beaten by Creatarrs."

Before he reluctantly picked up the pen and paper and signed his name and all the Jadecapes names. Jet took away the signed paper and I got myself off the leader of the Jadecapes. We all stepped away from him and he told us,

"Leave my Jadecape camp now - I do not want Creatarrs in my camp anymore. Especially not the Animal Leader, Melissa!"

And with that, he stepped off the stage and left the tent swiftly,  sharply telling the other Jadecapes to leave too. When all of the Jadecapes had left, I changed back to a human and my friends and I left the tent.

My friends, the 9 pupils and myself left the tent victoriously.
