The next night I heard Sally crying in the library. I pushed open the library doors and sat next to Sally.

"Whats wrong?" I asked her.

Sally sniffled and told me,

" I cannot tell you - if I do, things'll happen..." She ended her sentence sharply, like she had just exposed a huge secret.

"What'll happen?" I asked.

"Why must you know?" Sally snapped at me.

I got out of my seat and seeing that she  probably needed some time to herself, told her,

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to help. I can see you need some time alone."

I then walked out of the library and met Belle, who was waiting outside the common room.She smiled at me and asked,

"Why do you look worried?"

I replied,

"Sally isn't at all happy. She won't tell me why she's sad so I can't help her."

Belle nodded and told me,

" Well that old maths teacher spoilsport set us homework - want to do yours with me?"

I agreed and we went back up to our dormitory to get started on our maths. Once I was doing my homework, I did try to concentrate on the equation revision homework but found I just couldn't. I had that uneasy feeling again and gave up on my homework in despair after finishing a measly 1 out of the 5 pages set. I put down my pencil and looked out of the window instead, looking for wildlife. It was a beautiful autumn evening and the views were wonderful. But all of a sudden I noticed someone running across the school's football pitch. A person wearing a green cape, with jade coloured boots. The caped guy!

I questioned Belle,

"Did you just see that caped guy?"

She nodded, twiddling her hair nervously, before adding,

"Is it just me, or do we both feel uneasy all of a sudden?"

"Nope, its not just you." I responded, seeing the caped guy disappear into the woods.

5 other girls from my class came in and then it was lights out. As I went to sleep, I kept thinking about that caped guy and hoped he wouldn't rob us tonight.

Bang! I heard a loud noise and tried to get to sleep as I was tired. Bang! Thump! There it was again! Sleepily I opened my eyes and saw 4 figures,people, standing around one of the dormitory beds. As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw 2 of them had sticks in their hands and 2 of them had sacks. I noticed the people were putting things into the sacks. Then I remembered something. My aunt, the headmistress, had said the caped guy was plotting a burglary. I saw the people had green capes on. Robbers! Frightened, I didn't sit up in bed and tried to look like I was asleep. All of a sudden, a door opened. Sally came in and saw the caped guys standing around an empty bed. Her mouth kept opening and closing like a goldfish she was so shocked. I heard the caped guys whisper,

"She'll tell on us. We can't let her get away."

The caped guys stepped forward. One of them shut the door behind Sally and struck her on the head with his stick. Sally fell unconscious onto the floor and another caped guy slung her over his shoulder.

"Get outta here - NOW!" whispered the 3rd caped guy angrily.

Then all 4 of the caped guys ran out of the dormitory hurriedly. I was terrified and so scared I was shaking in my bed. I knew I needed to tell the headmistress what had happened as soon as possible,

but I was too frightened that they would come back. When I finally dragged myself over to the nearest window to check they'd gone, I only saw the woods they had come out of and the school fields. I waited by the window for another half hour to be sure they had gone. Once half an hour was over I thrust open the dormitory door and ran as fast as I could to the headmistress's office.

This would only be the start of a new adventure.
