~Chapter Twenty Nine : Blackmail~

After two months of Gon not having to use Nen and that little confession incident between the three of you, Wing has called you, Gon and Killua to his home once again.

You're all currently standing infront of Wing who is smiling at Gon. "Gon-kun, Killua-kun, (Y/N)-san." Wing called. "Starting today, you'll train with Zushi."

"Gon-kun, I am pleased that you kept your words." Wing smiled.

Gon smiled as well. "It's all thanks to the thread of promise." Gon said as he lifted his pinky finger which the blue wire-like was tied. "To be honest, I almost gave in but when I look at this thread, I was able to control myself."

"That's because I added some Nen to help you." Wing said.

Gon looked up, suprised. "Eh!? Really!?" He exclaimed.

Wing smiled. "Nope, I was lying." He said, making you, Gon and Killua sweatdropped.

"Hey, how would you know if he kept his word?" Killua asked as he pointed to Gon. "He could have been using Ten in secret." He said, making Gon pout with a vein on his forehead for not trusting him.

"Because the thread of promise become intact." Wing explained. "Gon-kun, it's been a while but could you try and use Ten?"

"Oh, okay." Gon said as he clenched his fist. "It's been a while alright...I wonder if I can even do this?" He said.

You put a hand on his shoulder. "You can do it." You said, cheering him on. You also smiled at Killua when you noticed he pulled a face that completely says "Crap. Do I remember how to do this?".

Gon smiled and nodded. He then closed his eyes and began to concentrate on using Ten. You and everybody else watched as aura began to flow in his entire body.

Wing smiled. "Zushi, what do you think?" He asked Zushi.

"I-It's amazing!" Zushi said. "It's soft and calm but yet so very strong!"

Gon opened his eyes and smiled widely. "I did it!" He said as he sighed in relief. "Whew, I thought I've forgotten how to use it!"

Wing smiled. "Once you learn how to use Nen, you can't forget it." Wing explained. "However, to become a master, you'll have to train hard."

"But it felt easier than before." Gon pointed out. "Despite having to not use Ten for awhile."

"That's because you were training your spirit everyday." Wing explained. "Now, look at your left hand."

Gon looked at his left hand and widen his eyes that made you and Killua curious on what happen so you both lean over to his left hand. Once you both saw the thread the two of you widen your eyes as well.

"It snapped!" Gon exclaimed.

"By applying my own Nen, I tied the thread such that if you broke your promise and use Nen, it would snap." Wing explained.

"Whoa. That's so cool, I didn't know Nen can do much more than just protection and attack." You thought.

"Hey, Wing-san." Killua called. "Did you watched Hisoka and Kastro's fight?"

"Yes, I did." Wing answered.

"What was the ability Hisoka used?" Killua asked. "Could we send loose limbs flying around?"

"Hmm, that's quite a difficult question." Wing said and turned to Gon and you. "Gon-kun, (Y/N)-san, have you watched the match yet?"

You and Gon looked at each other and turned back to Wing and shooked your heads, no.

Wing then got something from his pocket. He revealed it to be a CD. "Then, let's watch it, shall we?"

After watching the whole fight, you and Gon now understand what Killua meant when he said he have no idea what caused Hisoka to win. You and Gon were trying to figure out as well but ended up finding out nothing.

Wing noticed you and Gon's confusion and paused the video where Hisoka threw a scarf in the air with cards all over him. "Gon-kun, Killua-kun, (Y/N)-san, Zushi, do you see a thread of Nen extending on his left arm?" Wing asked.

"Threads of aura?" You asked.

"Yes. Do you see them?" Wing asked, once again.

The three of the males, looked really closely to the screen and looked really hard but ended finding nothing. You then blinked and instantly, you're eyes turned cat-like and looked really hard to the screen.

Gon sighed in defeat. "N-Nope..." Gon said.

Killua narrowed his eyebrow. "I can't see a thing!" He said.

"Same here." Zushi said.

You kept looked really hard on the screen, sweat began to drop on your forehead. Then, suddenly, you saw a faint pink substance. You blinked once again and your cat eyes were gone. "Ah!" You exclaimed.

Everybody turned to you. "What's wrong (Y/N)?" Gon asked.

You ignored Gon and turned to Wing. "Wing-san! Is the thread colored pink!?" You asked.

Wing smiled. "Yes. Did you see it?"

You smiled and nodded. "Yes! With my cat eyes! Though it's really faint, I manage to see it! But it disappeared right away!" You explained.

"Then, can you use your cat eyes once again and try to count all the threads?" Wing asked.

"Ah, okay." You said as you turned to the television once again and blinked your cat eyes. "T-This more difficult than I thought..." You thought.

"One..." You began to count as you try to focus on the television. "Two..." You continued. "Three..." You said but put your hands over your eyes in slight pain.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" You exclaimed.

Gon and Killua instantly turned to you worried. "Are you okay, (Y/N)?!" They asked, simultaneously.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just hurt my eyes a little..." You said and turned to Wing. "Wing-san, I'm sorry but I can't count it all. If I use my cat eyes like this too much, I might go blind."

Wing smiled. "Yes, you can. Maybe it will be less hard and painful if you all learn the technique to this." Wing explained. "In here, Hisoka is using a technique that makes his aura difficult to perceive. It's the high-level application of Zetsu known as In."

"When you use In, even the strongest of opponents will have a hard time seeing your aura." Wing explained. "The most effective counter to this attck is to focus the aura created by Ren into your eyes, a technique called Gyo."

"The method Gon-kun used in his fight with Gido might work as well." Wing said. "However, you couldn't take offensive action so ultimately, you'd throw your life away."

Gon remembered his mistake and began to guilty again. "Okay!" Gon said.

"My assignment for the three of you is to practice Ren until you all can see through Hisoka's In and count how many threads extending on his left arm." Wing said.

"How about me, master?" Zushi asked.

"Zushi, you should already be strong enough to see through his In." Wing explained.

"Eh? Me!?" Zushi asked.

"Show them your Ren." Wing ordered.

Zushi looked at the three of you. You and Gon smiled slightly at him while Killua just looked boredly at the television.

Zushi then stood up and got into a fighting position and released his Ren. "Ren!" He yelled. Then, a large gush of aura began to appear in his whole body, suprising you, Gon and Killua.

"Wow! It's so strong!" You thought. "But it's very dense."

"Then, focus all that Ren into your eyes." Wing said.

"Osu!" Zushi said as he tried his best to focus all of his Ren into his eyes, then, his aura disappeared and was now all in his eyes. However, Zushi was having a hard time to adjust as sweat began to drop from his head. "Gyo!"

"So, can you see the aura that emates Hisoka's body?" Wing asked.

Zushi stared in the television for a second and eventually spoke up. "Y-Yes." He answered.

"And how many threads are there?" Wing asked as he placed his hand above the TV.

Zushi counted in silent and spoke up. "Twelve..." He said but reconsider his answer. "No, I think thirteen!"

Wing smiled. "Not quite." He said. "But you were close."

Zushi realesed his aura and panted in exhaustion. "I could really see them!" Zushi said.

Wing smiled at Zushi. "You're making excellent process, Zushi."

Zushi smiled at his master's compliment. "O-Osu! Thank you very much!" He said.

"By channeling all your power to Gyo, you've achieved a level where you can see through Hisoka's In but with a bit of training, you'll be able to use Gyo while fighting." Wing explained as he turned off the television and smiled at the four of you. "Do you understand? First, practice Ren, then achieved the Ren application known as Gyo, then, you'll discover the true nature of Hisoka's abilities."

"And will you be able to use the same technique? The answer is both yes and no." Wing said as the three of you looked at each other. "Regardless to what Hisoka's precise power is, as long as it used Nen, you can learn it."

"However, Nen powers refers on the particular individual. Each of us possess specialities and preferences. Thus, Nen differs each person." Wing explained. "If you're serious about mastering Nen, you shouldn't merely copy other's abilities, it's important that you first identify your own strength."

"You three just started, so you haven't form one yet." Wing said. "Initially, try to grow as much as you can until you're develop enough to form your own abilities. That is the purpose of this training. Train hard, play hard, and enjoy life." Wing explained.

"Osu!" You, Gon, Killua and Zushi said as Wing walked over to the calendar.

"The final day of Killua-kun and (Y/N)-san window to fight is June 9th while Gon-kun is in the 10th." Wing said as the three of you nodded. "I'd like the three of you to register for a fight on your last day. In the meantime, you must learn to use Gyo before your time of battle."

"Osu!"

"Your Ren earlier was impressive, Zushi!" Gon complimented as the four of you walked to the street. "You moved way ahead while I was resting."

"I have to agree." You said. "You might've beaten our Rens with yours, you know?"

Zushi placed his hand behind his head and smiled. "No, I still have a long path before me..." He said.

"Hey, how about we practice the technique Wing-san taught us earlier?" You suggested as you smiled.

Killua smiled as well. "That's right, how about we go to our usual meeting place?" Killua suggested.

"In my room?" Gon asked.

You and Killua nodded. Gon smiled and nodded as well. "Okay!" He replied immediatly.

Once the four of you reached the Heaven's Arena, the four of you procedeed to enter the elevator and pressed the 200th floor.

You four waited for the elevator to reach the 200th floor but you and the others widen your eyes as you all felt a familiar presence when the elevator reached the 194th floor.

"(Y/N), Killua, Zushi..." Gon called.

"Yeah, I know..." You said.

"Osu." Zushi said.

"Looks like we have company." Killua said.

Then, the elevator did the "Ding" sound, indicating that you all reached the 200th floor and opened autimatically. You four stepped out of the elevator and was immediatly greeted by Gon's previous opponent, Gido and his two other companions.

Killua narrowed his eyes and sighed. "You three are so persistant." He said. "This is why no one likes all of you."

The guy with the mask-like face, Sadaso smirked. "Now, don't be so hard." He said. "Tell us when is you're fights. We'd love to be your opponents."

Killua closed his eyes and turned to the three of you with an irritated look. "I guess they specialize in hunting newbies." He said. "They want to rack up wins by beating us up."

"We're getting desperate, you see..." Sadaso started. "Because our deadline is nearing."

"Come on, let's fight. I'll even demonstrate my powers to the four of you. Right now." He said.

You all turned to his left hand as you all felt a movement and became prepared. "I knew that missing arm isn't completely missing!" You thought.

"I'm fighting on June 10th." Gon said, making Killua glare at him.

"Gon!" Killua scolded but Gon payed no mind.

"That won't work." Sadaso smirked. "My deadline is May 29th, fight on that day." He said.

Killua grew a vein. "Who cares about your deadline, Moron!?" Killua yelled as he turned around. "Let's go." He called which the three of you obidiently followed.

While walking away from the three of them, you all heard a voice that sended shivers down your spine. "Gon-chan..." Sadaso called. "You and I will fight. I gurantee it." He said, making you and Gon turn aroun while Killua and Zushi kept walking.

"Gon. Ignore him." Killua said.

"And (Y/N)-chan too..." Sadaso added.

Gon and Killua widen their eyes and quickly turned to Sadaso. You also widen your eyes. Then, Killua and Gon looked at Sadaso with dark and murderous eyes. Then in a second, they were right infront of Sadaso. "Do it. We dare you." Killua and Gon said.

Sadaso looked shocked but then, smirked once again. "It was a joke." He said. "To test the three of you."

Killua and Gon glared at him, in pure hatred and turned around. They grabbed each of your hands, Gon got your right hand and Killua got your left hand and began to walk away.

You were all inside Gon's room, practicing what Wing taught earlier and temporarily forgetting about Sadaso and his guys earlier.

"Visualize the energy inside your body. Power gathers in each cell and grows. Then your force that power..." Killua started and you all quickly snapped open your eyes. "Out!" Killua shouted.

Then, instantly, your strong auras began to flow out of your body. All of your auras lasted five seconds before you all sighed and wiped the sweat out of your foreheads.

"I'm getting used to this!" Gon said, smiling.

You smiled as well. "Me too, it's not hard but it's not easy either." You said, making Zushi widen his eyes in shock and disbelief.

"Right. Learning to shroud the boosted aura with your Ten was actually a little tricky." Killua said, making Zushi turn purple and shock.

"A-A Little?" Zushi exclaimed, silently.

"But our auras isn't as strong as Zushi's yet." Gon said.

"Yeah, let's do a little more training." You suggested.

"Sure, let's do it." Killua said.

You, Gon and Killua were about to train again when you all heard Zushi's voice. "Ah, n-no! That's enough!" He said. "Learning when to test is also part of the training."

"Really? We can still-" Killua said but was cutted off by Zushi when he holds out the stop hand.

"No!" Zushi yelled. "Let's call it a day!"

Killua placed his hands behind his head in disappoinment. "Aww..." He said, disappointed.

You and Gon smiled at him. "It's okay, we can still practice tomorrow." You said.

Killua smiled and looked at you. "That's right."

You, Killua and Zushi exited Gon's room and bid good bye to Gon. You, Killua and Zushi parted ways but you turned to where Zushi was going.

Killua turned around. "Huh? (Y/N) isn't your room this way?" He asked.

"Oh, I'm just going to a nearby convience store to buy some snacks of mine." You said as you laughed nervously and sweatdropped. "I didn't realise that I ate all my snacks yesterday without realising it."

Killua sweatdropped as well and smirked at you teasingly. "You can get fat, you know." He said.

You pouted and blushed slightly. "I-I won't!" You said as you turned around and walked to the elevator.

Killua chuckled at you and turned around and walked to his room.

Once you enter the elevator, you realised Zushi took the other one. You sighed and used your Zetsu.

"I felt bad lying to Killua..." You said. "But I don't know if they noticed it but I have a feeling Sadaso and his friends are going to do something."

After a while, the elevator opened up revealing the first floor of the Heaven's Arena. You looked around and found no Zushi. You sighed and began to ran around, with your Zetsu, trying to find Zushi.

Before you know it, you're already on the streets. Suddenly, you felt three presence, you ran to it and hid behind a wall as you saw a glimpse of Sadaso.

You looked slightly behind the wall and widen your eyes when you saw Zushi unconcsious. You grew you cat ears and tail and dashed towards Sadaso with sharped nails.

Sadaso looked suprised when you cut his cheek and blood began to pour out of the scatch you caused.

"Let go of Zushi!" You yelled at them.

Sadaso chuckled and wiped the blood from his cheek. "That won't work, little lady." He said. "I really want to fight each of you. He's the only way." He said. "And maybe I can use you..."

You widen your eyes as he began to walked over to you. You then activated your cat eyes and saw a monster-like arm on his left side. You backed away. "His arm looks dangerous. That's what he mostly used to make Zushi unconcsious..." You thought. "Better to stay away from him..."

Then, Sadaso smirked and let his monster arm dashed towards you. You dodged it by jumping over it and landing onto a roof.

Sadaso looked up and fired his arm at you once again. You dodged this one easily by moving your head to the side and dashing towards Sadaso in the process.

Once your close enough to Sadaso, you landed a hard kick on his face. Sadaso stumbled back and you landed perfectly on the floor.

You were about to get Zushi while you still can but then someone unexpected shows up and hit you hard in the gut.

You coughed and hold your abdomen in pain before passing out. In the darkness, Sadaso's companion, the guy in the wheelchair, Riehvielto comes out smirking.

"Sorry, lady. But when it comes to beating up people like you and your friends, we're the experts." Riehvielto said.

He was about to get you when a certain someone hit him in the face and grabbed you by the waist.

They all looked at the guy who saved you and was suprised to see the familiar silver-haired boy named Killua, who is obviously controlling his anger by smirking.

"Honestly...You guys are so persistant." Killua said, dangerously while holding you in the waist with one hand. "I figured (Y/N) is lying to me when she said she's going to buy snacks and I also figured that you're up to something."

"But you didn't need to use dirty tricks to make us fight you." Killua said, smirk disappearing and put and lean you down gently on the wall before walking over to Sadaso. "When do you want to fight? Don't worry, I'll let you win. I'll even give you each a win. Is that enough?"

Sadaso stared at Killua for awhile but then smirked. "After I get my win off you, I'm going to fight Gon-chan." Sadaso said.

Killua smirked once again. "If you want to fight Gon, you'll have to follow his schedule. He'll be more than happy to fight you." He said. "I can promise you on that."

Sadaso chuckled. "Okay. If you're willing to fight us. We don't need to bother with this and that." He said, referring to you and Zushi.

"Then, let's go register together. That way, I can return this boy to you, unharmed." Rievielto said.

Killua shrugged, walking over to you and carried you bridal style. "Yeah, yeah, sure..." He said as he turned to face them. "But only this once."

Killua fill out the form in the Heaven's Arena, registering for a fight. After he's done, he turned to the two guys. "Okay, happy now?" He asked.

"Yes. We'll return him now." Sadaso said, turning to Zushi.

Killua carried Zushi behind his back while he carried you bridal style and began walking away. Then, he stopped and turned back to the two guys. "Oh, yeah, just to reiterate, this is a one-time deal." Killua reminded them. "If you break your promise..." He trailed off.

"Eh...Nevermind...Forget it." Killua said and began walking away.

"What is it? You got me curious." Rievielto asked.

"What will happen if we break our promise?" Sadaso asked

Killua kept walking. "No point of telling it to you guys now." He said, leaving the guys curious. "Just keep your words."

Gon was looking out his window when an unexpected caller began calling to his telephone. Gon walked over to it and answered it. "Hello?"

"Hello, is this Gon-kun?" The familiar voice of his previous opponent, Gido said. "Take a look behind your door."

Gon opened his door and looked down to see a familiar shoe that belongs to his friend, Zushi. "That's not all, try to touch the thing inside it." Gido said.

Gon hold the phone using his shoulder obidiently stick his finger in the shoe and found something smooth, he got it and widen his eyes in anger as he saw a familiar black ribbon.

"This is the ribbon (Y/N) always wears!" Gon thought, angry.

"You know what that means, right?" Gido said. "As long as you don't tell anyone or follow my instructions, the four of you will be able to train as usual tomorrow."

Gon narrowed his eyes as the call ended. Gon clenched his fist along with your ribbon.

"(Y/N)...Zushi..."

After returning Zushi to Wing, Killua then proceeded on returning you to your room. Then, Killua saw the side of your hair untied.

"Eh? Where did your ribbon go?" Killua asked. "I didn't realise this sooner..." He said as he sighed. "Not killing people is hard especially when they use the one girl you love..."

"Clean living's tough..."
