~Chapter Twenty Eight : Understanding~

You ran around to the whole building of the Heaven's Arena, despertally trying to find Killua who just overheard your conversation with Gon thus, misunderstanding the whole situation.

"Killua!" You called, ignoring the weird stares the people give you.

You activated your dog powers, replacing your rabbit ones and sniffed the air. "Killua's scent is still faint, he's been here." You thought as you ran around. "But I can't see him..."

You kept running until you've reached the Heaven's Arena exit, you looked up and it's still raining hard. "This is bad, my dog nose won't be too useful in the rain..." You thought as you narrowed your eyebrows. "So the only animal I can control and use is..."

You then replaced your dog appearance to a cat. You looked up once again and smiled. "Oh, well..." You thought and ran through the rain.

You then snapped open your eyes, using your powers and looked around. You then smiled when you found a certain sight from far far away. It was Killua, leaning his back into a tree, looking down.

You quickly ran towards the location his in and after a good 5 minutes of running, you finally reached the location. It was a park, strangely enough, it was the park you've been in earlier. You looked around and found Killua in the exact same spot you found him in, soaked to the skin.

You slowly approahed him, careful to not make any unnecessary move. You fidget with your fingers and looked at Killua. You can't really tell what kind of expression his making right now, because he's looking down, making his bangs cover his eyes. His lips were closed tightly so it doesn't really help at all.

"Killua..." You called, breaking the silence. The said guy didn't looked up but he seemed like he heard you. "Killua, the sight you saw earlier, it really wasn't what you think..." You explained, this time, Killua slightly flinched.

"I'm just comforting Gon, that's all..." You said. "D-Don't misunderstand..."

Killua stayed silent for a while and so did you. Then, to your suprise, Killua smirked. "I didn't..." He said. "I'm just stupid..."

You looked at him confused. "Huh?" You exclaimed, confused.

Killua then put his hand on his forehead and chuckled slightly. "I'm stupid to ran away like that..." He muttered. "...When I already know something like this would happen any time..."

You widen your eyes at him. "What do you mean?" You asked. "Did you know that this will happen?"

Killua nodded. "Because, I'm Gon's bestfriend, remember?" He said. "Of course we knew each other's secrets."

"Oh..." You said as you looked down.

Then, Killua looked up to the dark, rainy sky, allowing drops of the rain fall on his face. "But I don't know why I still find this so painful..." He said, making you looked up.

Killua bit his bottom lip and suddenly you widen your eyes as you a drop of tear escaped from Killua's eyes. The tear was barely visible because of the rain. But you can tell the drop came from Killua's eyes, not because of your powers but because of the sorrowful look in his face. That's the face of someone who wanted to cry there eyes out but don't want to destroy their pride at the same time so they just let it fall, without them noticing. That's Killua alright.

"I don't know..." Killua said as he looked at you. "I don't know!" He yelled as more tears came out from his eyes.

Killua wiped his tears with his sleeve and looked back at you. "Oh, that's right!" He said as he smiled sarcastically. "Because I have the same f*cking feeling that Gon and Kurapika feels about you!"

You widen your eyes, suprised as you began to understand what he meant. "That's right, (Y/N)! I...I..." He tried to say but trailed off.

"I love you!" He yelled, with a tint of red in his cheeks. "I know! Lame, right!?" He said as he turned around and sighed.

"Sorry, just...Forget this happened..." He said. "I'm just a pathetic guy who is letting his anger out on you by yelling."

"You won't understand anyway..." He muttered, quietly but you heard it clear. You widen your eyes and stomped towards him, upset.

You grabbed his shoulders and made him looked at you. He looked at you, suprised. "Listen here, Killua, you're not anywhere near pathetic! You hear me!? It's okay! You deserved to be mad! Yell at me all you want, I will listen! You can even cry on me!" You yelled at him. "And yeah, you might be right about that understand thing but hear this, Zoldyck, this is why I came here, to understand you, to care for you, to listen to you!"

"But mostly, I want to understand you, and Gon, and Kurapika's feelings..." You said. "Don't you know how much it's filling me with guilt and sadness because of that fact that I can't understand any of you at all!? So please, let me understand you all! Or atleast, just let me understand you!"

Killua stared at you wide-eyed. You never spoke like this before, not that he heard you speak like this anyway. Killua then looked down on the ground.

Then, Killua removed himself from your grip and pulled your head towards his chest and hugged you. You widen your eyes for a second but then you slowly hugged him back and closed your eyes.

Killua hugged you tighter. "I love you...I really do..." He muttered in your ear. "I want to be with you forever...This is how I love someone in a romantic way...Understood?"

You nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I understand..." You said.

You felt Killua smiled. "I see...Then..." He trailed off and pulled away from the hug. He looked at you in the eyes, and to your suprise, he gently grabbed your chin and leaned in slowly. "...You'll understand what I'm do right now, right?"

Your cheeks redden and your eyes widen slightly but slowly nodded and looked up at Killua. When Killua realised that you know what he's gonna do, he smiled and closed his eyes as he kept leaning in.

You prepared for the impact of his lips and without any hesitation of Killua, he closed the gap between the two of you by letting his lips touch yours. Despite having time to prepare for his lips and having someone to kiss you two times, you still feel a bit of shock around your body but you ignored it. Once you recovered from slight shock, you slowly closed your eyes and slowly kissed Killua back.

After a few seconds, the two of you parted for air. The two of you panted because of the lack of air while the two of you were kissing. Killua looked at you and blushed immediatly. He let go of you and crossed his arms over his chest and turned the other way.

"H-Hey, it's not like I kiss you because I want to, i-it's just...I...I have a feeling I need to do that!" Killua denied. "I-It will be unfair for me if Gon and Kurapika gets to kiss you while I don't!"

You stared at him, suprised about how he immediatly got into his tsundere mode. You just giggled at him. "Okay, Okay..." You said.

Suddenly, your sight began to blur and you began to stumble to your feet. Killua noticed that and quickly ran over to you and catched you before you fall to the ground.

"(Y/N)!?" Killua called in panic and worry. "Are you okay!? What happen!?"

You slightly open your eyes and breath heavily. "R-Rain..." You croaked out. "M-My powers have weakness too..."

"Right now, I'm a cat...It's weakness is...Rain..." You said as you struggle to open your eyes.

Killua glared at you. "If you know that this is your cat part's weakness, why did you still ran all the way here with a cat appearance!?" He yelled.

You weakily smiled at him. "Ehehe...I forgot...I was too focuse on finding you, I forgot to disactivate it...But I found you, that's all that matters right...?" You said as you slowly closed your eyes.

Killua widen his eyes and quickly carried you in bridal style. He bit his bottom lip. "You idiot! You should stop your habit of thinking others before you!" Killua thought as he ran back to the heaven's arena.

"Hang in there, (Y/N)!"

Darkness. That's what you see right now. You can feel your laying in a soft surface and can feel someone in the room and you just can't open your eyes. What's happening?

You're not sleeping. You know that for sure, considering that you can feel someone in the room with you. You wanted to open your eyes but can't. Can someone knock you out of this dark world?

Then, as if someone heard you, the someone you feel turns out to be two person and there voices are familiar too. Suddenly you felt someone poke your cheek.

"(Y/N)?" One of the person asks.

"Gon?" You thought as you struggled to open your eyes.

Once you manage to slightly open your eyes, the sight you saw was first blurry but began to turn clearer and clearer with every second.

The image began to resemble someone, a black-haired and silver-haired boy. When your vision was clear, above you were Gon smiling widely while Killua staring at you.

You stared and spaced out on them for a few seconds until a happy voice snapped you out of your world.

"(Y/N)!" Gon yelled, inches away from your face.

You blinked and began to widen your eyes as you realise how close his face is. You slightly shrieked in shock and quickly sat up. But when you sat up, you forgot Gon was inches away from your face and accidentally hit your forehead on his forehead.

Killua sweatdropped as Gon stumbled back dizzy with his eyes moving around anime-style. You felt slightly dizzy as well and placed your hand in your forehead in pain.

Gon crouched down and placed his hands over his head and moaned pain. "Ow...(Y/N) that hurts..." Gon pouted with tiny bits of tears in the corner of his eyes.

You sweatdropped and smiled apologetically at Gon. "S-Sorry! I got suprised and..." You apologized but got cutted off.

"Don't bother to apologize (Y/N)." Killua said as you turned to him. Killua crossed his arms over his chest. "I kept telling him to move away from your face because I know this will happen." Killua explained with bored expression. "Never listens to me."

Gon pouted at Killua. "I thought you just don't want me to get closer to (Y/N)'s face!" Gon protested. "You didn't say anything about (Y/N) bumping her head in mine!"

Killua shrugged at Gon. "I thought it wasn't worth saying." Killua said as he closed his eyes and smirked. "...Since it's common sense."

"Actually, I just want Gon's face to move far away from (Y/N)'s face in case she wakes up and might accidentally kiss Gon." Killua thought and smirked. "...But lucky for me, the result was way better than I expected..."

Gon glared at Killua, pouting while Killua just smirked at him. You sweatdropped as you began to imagine Gon wearing dog ears and tail while Killua wearing cat ears and tail, which is swaying mischievously.

"H-Hey, guys..." You called, breaking their glaring contest.

Once they heard your quiet little voice, they immediatly looked at you and smiled innocently. "Oh, hey (Y/N)! How do you feel right now?" Gon asked.

You smiled. "Good, I guess..." You said as you stretched.

Killua raised his eyebrow on you. "Really? Because when I bring you back here, you never woke up and just continued sleeping...So, it's already morning." Killua said as he walked towards your room's window and opened the curtains, allowing the shine of the sun to enter.

You shielded your eyes against the blinding shine. "Eh!? Already morning?!" You exclaimed.

"Yeah! I woke up when I realised you weren't in my side anymore and began searching the whole Heaven's arena for you but I couldn't!" Gon said as he did some motions. "So when I was about to give up, I saw Killua carrying you to your roomand Killua explained what happened to you and I got really worried, so me and Killua slept in your couche for the night."

You giggled at Gon's story and looked at your couches. It's true that they slept in your couches, you had three couches to be exact, the two of them had crumbled up blankets and pillows above them. "I see...Thank you, the two of you." You thanked them and looked at Killua.

Killua noticed your stared and turned red. "W-What?" Killua stuttered.

"Did you tell Gon about..." You tried yo say but got cutted off.

"I already know." Gon said, cutting you off.

You turned Gon, who is smiling. "Eh?" You exclaimed.

"Killua already told me! And I need to say, it's not so suprising!" Gon said as he put his each of his hands on his hips. "Killua is my bestfriend after all! Of course we knew each other's crushes about you!" Gon said, proudly.

Then, Gon walked over to you and buried his face on your bosom, with a slight blush on his face. "But even though we're bestfriends, I won't give up! (Y/N) will be mine!" He declared as he hugged you tighter.

You looked at Gon with a slight blush on your face and smiled slightly. You pat Gon's head which made Killua pout in jealousy at the two of you. Killua then stomped towards the two of you and hop to your bed and goes behind you. He then wrapped his arm around your neck and rest his chin on your shoulder.

"Don't be selfish Gon!" Killua yelled, blushing. "Just because you're my bestfriend doesn't mean you'll get everything you want! (Y/N) can choose whoever she wants!" Killua said. "And that would be me..." He thought.

You looked at Killua and onto Gon. "How about Kurapika?" You asked.

Gon and Killua then widen their eyes and tightened their hugs on you. "No way!" They yelled.

You moved your arms around. "H-Hey! Too tight! Too tight! I'm getting all choked up!" You exclaimed.

Once they realised your chokings, they untightened their hugs and just hugged you normally. You sighed in relief and let the two of them hug until you realised something. You turned to Killua. "Hey, Killua?" You called.

Killua turned to you. "Hm?" He said.

You turned serious. "How was the match?" You asked.

Gon and Killua turned serious as well and let go of you. Killua turned away and look back at the two of you. "It was boring." He said, making you and Gon sweatdrop.

"Then, Hisoka won?" Gon asked.

Killua turned away again and narrowed his eyes. "I was lying." He admitted. "The match was incredible."

"I hate to admit this but, I have no clue how Hisoka won." Killua said as he looked at the two of you. "(Y/N), Gon..." He called.

"Let's learn more about Nen."

How was that!? I'm so sorry I took so long! I was really busy these days and doesn't have time to update. But to this holy night, I managed to stay up late and update this! That is also the reason why this is so short.

I'm also sorry if you aren't satisfied with Killua's confession (Because I've been noticing on how many Killua fans is out there) Please don't kill me!
