~Chapter Three : Phase One Part One~

"The 287th hunter exam starts now" the tall man said.

As he explains all the hunter exam. You couldn't help but feel excited but at the same time you're slightly nervous.

"Oh! I'm so excited! But I hope I don't get too excited though!" You thought and smiled.

"The 405 hunter examineers, please follow me." The tall man said as he began to walk in an unhuman-like steps.

You started to walk as well as Gon, Kurapika and Leorio. But after a second, people on the front started running.

"Huh? The people in front fasten their pace." You said as you turned your walking into running.

"Yeah." Gon said, as he began running as well.

"I forgot to introduce myself, I am Satotz, the first phase examineer." Satotz said. "I shall now guide you to the second phase."

People began whispering in confusion. "Second phase? What happen to second phase?" One asked.

"It's already starting." Satotz said as the whispers gets louder.

"Oh, I get it. This is like exercising! I love running so I think I'll be fine, I don't think I need to use my powers here..." You thought and smiled.

"Why are you smiling, (Y/N)?" Gon asked, cathing up with you.

"Oh. Nothing, it's just that it feels good running, you know?" You said, smiling.

"Yeah!" Gon said, smiling as well.

Suddenly, you heard Leorio yelling. You and Gon turned to Leorio to see him yelling at a silver-haired boy that looks like the same age as you both are.

"Hey, Kid! Give the Hunter exam some respect! Don't use your skateboard!" Leorio yelled.

The silver-haired boy turned to Leorio with an innocent-looking face. "Why not?" He said.

"This is an endurance test!" Leorio yelled.

"No, it's not." Gon said, as both of you ran near them.

"Gon! Whose side are you on!?" Leorio yelled.

"No one's." Gon said. "And this is not an endurance test!" He said.

"Yeah, Satotz-san just told us to follow him right?" You continued.

"Even you (Y/N)!?" Leorio said.

The silver-haired boy then, skated over to the both of you and looked at you. "Hey, you two, how old are you?" He said.

"I'm 12!" Gon said.

"I'm also 12!" You said, smiling.

The silver-haired boy looked at you. You looked up at him since he's taller than you and tilted your head at confusion. "What is it?" You asked.

Just then, he smirked. "You don't look like an 12 years old at all! You look like an 8 years old!" He said as he laughed.

You puffed your cheeks in annoyance. "Says the one whose hair looks like an old man's!" You yelled back.

He stopped laughing and glared at you. "What did you say!?" He said.

"I said that you look like an old man!" You said, smirking.

"Why you-" he was about to retort back but Gon put a hand on both of your shoulder.

"Now, now, don't start fighting now!" He said, smiling with a sweatdrop.

You both turned away for a few second but turned back. "I'm Killua by the way." the silver-haired boy said.

"I'm Gon!" Gon said, smiling.

Killua smiled and turned to you. "Well, how about you?" He said, referring to you.

You looked at him for a few second and smiled. "(Y/N)...I'm (Y/N)." You said.

"Cool." Killua said, then jumped out of his skate board and landed perfectly on the ground and catching his skateboard perfectly. "I guess I'll run with both of you then." He said.

Both you and Gon were amazed by his skateboarding skills. "Wow! That's so amazing!" Both you and Gon exclaimed.

You three continued to talk while Leorio was behind both of you.

"These three kids...! Making a fool out of me...!" Leorio yelled.

"Hey, Gon, Killua." You said, making the two males looked at you. "What is it, (Y/N)?" Gon asked.

"I'm going ahead. I'm curious what I'm gonna see far ahead!" You said.

"Okay, go ahead." Gon said.

"Thanks! See you later!" You said as you ran ahead.

While running, you spotted a blonde-haired guy. "Huh? Is that Kurapika-san?" You thought as you walk towards him. "It is Kurapika-san!" You thought and smiled.

"Kurapika-san!" You yelled as he turned to you, suprise.

"Oh, (Y/N), what is it?" Kurapika smiled.

"Nothing. I just spotted you and I just felt like I wanna talk to you or something, hehehe..." You said, rubbing the back of your head.

Kurapika laughed at you and you laughed with him too. After a few seconds you and him, stopped laughing and you looked down. "This is kinda awkward..." You thought.

You looked up to start talking to Kurapika again but because having barely control over your foot. You start to stumble.

"Whoa...!" You exclaimed as you feel you're gonna fall and waited for the ground to hit you but never came.

You opened your eyes to see Kurapika's hand around your waist, holding you so you won't fall. You blushed.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm pretty clumsy, you see..." You said.

Kurapika smiled at you with a tint of pink on his cheeks. "It's okay...It's pretty cute anyway." He said, removing his hands around your waist and both of you started running again.

~Timeskip~

You're running for hours now and a few people gave up and pass out due to exhaustion. You feel kinda the bad for all of them but sadly, there's nothing you can do for them.

Then, you heard a familiar yell coming from behind you. You and Kurapika turned around to see an shirtless Leorio running with full speed with his tie still on him.

Kurapika looked at him. "Leorio! Why do you look like that!? There's a girl here!" Kurapika scold Leorio.

"Sorry! I just thought that I'll have more energy if I don't care about how I look!" Leorio said between pants.

You smiled. "He looks so desperate..." You thought and looked at Kurapika. "It's okay, really! He really looks desperate!" You said. Kurapika smiled at you.

"Well, then, I hope you don't mind me then." Kurapika said as he took off he's outer cloth reveling his white inner cloth. You blushed and turned away. "I-I don't mind..." You said while Kurapika laughed.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" You heard someone call you and you turned behind you to find Gon and Killua pouting at you.

"What is it?" You asked.

"You said that you're gonna explore ahead! Why are you with Kurapika?" Gon said, with a pout.

You sweat dropped. "Umm...Well, that's...I just happen to find him here and..."

You heard Killua sighed behind you. "Whatever. Anyway, Gon and I decided to race until the end and whoever lose is gonna treat the winner, dinner!" Killua said, excited.

"Race? Okay!" you said, excited as well.

"Ready...Go!"

Oookay! That's it for now! Hehehe...I wanted to write more but I think this is the perfect time to end this chapter!

And yeah, if you're wondering, yes, I deleted my other story "Hunter Academy" because I couldn't focus on two stories at once! Thanks for anyone who read those anyway!
