~Chapter Thirty Three : Gon vs Hisoka~

You and Killua sat in the seats for the crowd and waited patiently as the match will start soon. You've been so worried ever since you both were sitting there, however, you remembered Gon's true intentions on why he wants to fight Hisoka and calmed down.

You closed your eyes and inhaled deeply. "Calm down. Have fate in Gon. He doesn't actually intend to win his match with Hisoka. He just wanted to land a punch. A solid hard punch." You thought to yourself, calming yourself down.

Killua turned to you as if to tell you something but he eventually smiled as he saw your "Trying to calm down" face. He decided to let you stay in your current state as he knows you can calm yourself down.

"Hello everyone! In this arena, we have Gon vs Hisoka! This is the fight you've all been waiting for!" Coco, the usual announcer said. "As you can see, the stands are pack! The tension in the air before the start of this match feels almost unreal!"

The crowd began to become more excited and impatient as they wait for the start of the match. You finished calming yourself down and breath normally again. You look to your right and saw Killua looking at you with a smile. You smiled back at him and gave a thumbs up as to show you're okay before looking at the ring with a determine, serious face. Killua shrugged and turn serious as he turned to the ring.

Then, the lights went off and smoke began to appear on the side of the ring. As the smoke clears, you all saw Gon walking towards the ring with a serious face. "Oh! The first one that appear today is Gon! He's on a roll as he's record is 3-1 with four fights!" Coco yelled to the microphone she's holding.

Hundreds of cheers from the audience who seems to believe Gon will win began cheering on Gon. There were a few insults but Gon payed no mind about it.

Then, on the other side of the ring, smoke appeared and when it cleared, the familiar red-headed magician was seen. "Oh! And on the other side, Hisoka appears!" Coco said. "He has record of an incredible 9-4 which means if he win this match, he can challenge a floor master but if he loses, he falls all the way to the beginning. Will his undefeated record continue!?"

The two of them stared at each other. Hisoka was smiling at Gon while Gon is glaring at him. Then, you and Killua slightly widen your eyes and a drop sweat fell from your foreheads as Hisoka activated his aura. It was so sinister.

"What a scary aura...Gon, be careful..." You thought as you gulped. Gon activated his own strong aura only more pure and calm.

The referree began to say the rules however, Gon and Hisoka payed no mind from it as they already back up and prepared for their fight.

"Begin!" The referree said, loud enough for everyone to hear. Then, instantly, Gon dashed towards Hisoka and began throwing punches and kicks at him.

However, no matter how fast and strong Gon's punches and kicks were, Hisoka was able to dodge and block all of them. Instead, Gon was the one who can barely dodge his attacks and when Gon's reaction is too slow, the consequences were painful. Luckily, Gon has great immunity towards some of his punches that the referree wouldn't count every attack that hit Gon perfectly. However, Hisoka landed a hard punch in Gon's cheek that sended him flying near the edge of the ring.

"Clean hit! One point for Hisoka!" The referree yelled making the crowd cheered.

Coco, the announcer, blinked a few times before eventually speaking. "W-What an intense exchange...!" Coco said, amazed. "I couldn't even slip a single word!" She said as she laughed nervously.

Gon mentally cursed and began rubbing his cheek which made Hisoka chuckle. "What's wrong?" Hisoka asked. "I still haven't move from where I'm standing."

Gon looked at him in disbelief. "Eh!? What!? Are you serious!?" Gon said as he whined in frustration. "Damn it! Just you wait!" He said.

He then paused for a second as if thinking a plan before dashing towards Hisoka and moving around so fast that looks like there's so many Gon attacking him. When Gon thought Hisoka was distracted, Gon dashed to the side and instantly stick his fingers to the tiny gap on the floor and pried the large tile out of the ground.

Gon then threw the tile towards Hisoka's direction and used the power of his leg to break the tile into thousands of pieces, allowing them to send to Hisoka's direction. Hisoka didn't bother to dodge all of them, instead he blocked it. In Hisoka's face, you can see clearly that he hadn't expect Gon will use this tactic against him.

Unknown to Hisoka, while he was blocking all of the piece of stone that Gon sended him, Gon has already dashed behind him. Hisoka tried to find Gon and when he turned around, it was too late when Gon already landed a punch towards Hisoka's cheek.

Hisoka stumbled a few steps backward while Gon landed perfectly on the ground. "Critical hit! Two points for Gon!" The referree said.

"Amazing! Gon managed to land a critical hit against Hisoka!" Coco yelled. "The score is now on 2-1! Gon has the lead!"

You smiled widely at Gon and turned to look at Killua, who was smiling at Gon as well before turning back to the match. "However, Gon's punch doesn't seem to dealt a lot of damage against Hisoka as he only got two points for it." Coco said. "I have to question the referree's decision after this..."

You slightly narrowed your eyebrows. "I think I know this kind of referree..." You thought. "Referrees are allowed to give points as much as they pleases. Some of them gave a fighter points based on how much damage is done and some based on strategy and technique."

"Right now, the referree gave Gon only two points because of how Gon used the large tile to be able to make that punch." You thought.

Back to match, Hisoka smiled and walked calmly towards Gon, suprising everyone. Gon seems to understand what Hisoka will do and also walked calmly towards Hisoka as well. Then, when they faced each other, Gon got something from his jacket's pocket and pulled out the forty-four badge Hisoka wore on the Hunter Exam and handed it over to Hisoka.

Hisoka smiled more and gladily took it. After that, the two of them quickly back up from each other and prepare to fight again, leaving everyone confuse. "What was that about!? I have no single clue!" Coco yelled.

Hisoka looked at Gon. "How much have you learned about Nen?" He asked.

"All of the basics." Gon said, honestly.

Hisoka chuckled. "I see..." He said and pointed at Gon. "You must be an Enhancer." Hisoka guessed.

Gon widen his eyes in shock. "H-How did you know!?" He asked.

Hisoka chuckled more. "You're so adorable..." He said, that sended shivers down your spine. "You should do a better job of keeping a secret."

Gon pouted. "Shut up! Just answer me!"

"I used the method similar to the blood type personality test. Though it's not always correct." He said. "I devised my own way of using personality to classify one's aura."

He then pointed at Gon. "Enhancers are simple and earnest." He said.

You sweatdropped. "Correct..." You thought.

Hisoka pointed at himself and smirked. "By the way, I'm a Transmuter. Fickle and dishonest." He said.

You sweatdropped again. "Correct." You thought.

"Emitters are impatient. Speacialist are independent. Manipulators are argumentative. Conjurers are high-strung." Hisoka continued as he raised his hands towards Gon's direction. "The two of us are quite compatible. Our opposite personalities attract. We could become very intimate."

Hisoka smirked. "But do be careful though..." He said as he looked at Gon in the eyes. "All because Transmuters are very fickle..."

"It takes mere second just to turn a treasure into trash." Hisoka said as he released more of his aura and prepared to fight. "So, do not disappoint me, Gon." He said.

Then, in a split second, Hisoka was already infront of Gon, elbowing him hard on the face, making Gon flew in the air. Before Gon can land on the ground Hisoka was already behind him, ready to fire again.

You and Killua widen your eyes. "He's fast!" You both said.

Hisoka hit Gon's back, hard enough to send him flying. Luckily, Gon managed to land on the perfectly ground but his luck didn't last long as before he can stood up, Hisoka was already infront of him, ready to attack again.

Hisoka raised his leg to attempt to kick Gon however, Gon sensed this will come, he quickly dodged his kick by dashing to the side, allowing Hisoka to kick the large stone tile out of the ground, making it flew outside the ring.

You and Killua stared at where the stone flew, in disbelief. Gon, too, got distracted and look at where the stone flew. When Gon realised he was distracted, he quickly looked back to where Hisoka were earlier but he was no longer there.

Gon looked up and widen his eyes as he saw Hisoka in the air, going to land a kick on him. Gon acted fast and quickly dodged his ridiculous leg kick. The two of them played tag for awhile, Hisoka chasing Gon around.

Hisoka tried a new move using a punch which Gon managed to block but when Hisoka's second punch came, he didn't quite block it this time. Which resulted in him rolling on the ground but standing up quickly and panted.

Gon panted slightly while he rubbed his cheek. He then backed away from Hisoka and began walking in circles as Hisoka watched him.

"What's wrong? Come on now, keep attacking..." Hisoka gestured.

Gon glared at Hisoka. "Forget it! I'm brainstorming!" He yelled at him and placed his hand in his chin as if trying to ease the pain from it.

You narrowed your eyes. "So fast. Hisoka is fast. I can follow him just fine with my eyes but with normal eyes, people can barely follow it." You thought. "I bet Gon can follow him by eye too but the rest of his body can't keep up..."

You heard Hisoka chuckle. "Very well then..." He said. "I guess I'll need to force you to come over here..." He said as he raised his index finger.

You and Killua quickly understand what he did. "Gon! Gyo! Use Gyo!" You and Killua yelled at him.

Gon cursed under his breath as he realised he wasn't using Gyo. He quickly used Gyo, as well as you and Killua.

The three of you widen your eyes as you all realised that the pink rubbery substance has already been attached to Gon's cheek to Hisoka's finger.

"Do you understand what is happening?" Hisoka asked, with a mischievous smile as he pulled his finger.

Gon struggled as he tried to stop himself from flying towards Hisoka. However, this only made the situation worse as Hisoka pulled it more making Gon fly towards him.

You and Killua widen your eyes as Hisoka raised his fist, preparing to punch Gon straight in the cheek.

You covered your mouth with your hand and looked away as Hisoka punched Gon hard on the cheek. Gon landed on the ground and cringed in pain.

Hisoka looked down at him as he smiled. "You won't be able to escape now." He said.

"Critical and knockdown! Plus three points for Hisoka! 6-2!" The referree yelled, making the crowd yell a loud cheer.

Gon struggled to stand up, however, having to be the one who suffer that punch, he didn't stood back up without stumbling a bit. Once he finally manage to stand up, he looked at Hisoka with his eyes twitching in pain as his vision becomes blurry due to the punch.

"Hisoka punched Gon with a strong right punch! Gon is down!" Coco yelled through her microphone.

You narrowed your eyes. "Bungee Gum..." You thought. "What a perfect name..."

Gon gritted his teeth as he shook his head to clear his vision. "Damn..." He said in frustration.

"The score is 6-2! Hisoka increased his lead!" Coco said. "Will Hisoka still continue his undefeated record!?"

Countless of people, who sides with Gon, cheered for Gon. "Okay, now, I have a question for you." Hisoka said.

"Question?" Gon repeated.

"If you answer correctly, I'll give you a free hit. Are you ready?" Hisoka said as Gon prepared for the question. "When do you think I attached my bungee gum on your cheek?" He asked.

"When DID he attached his gum on Gon?" You thought. "He landed many hits on Gon so he have a lot of chances..."

"One, when I elbowed you. Two, when I landed a clean hit on you or Three, when I landed a critical hit on you?" Hisoka said, giving Gon choices.

Gon thought for awhile and eventually raised his three fingers. "Three! When you landed a critical hit on me!" Gon answered, confidentally.

"Wrong!" Hisoka said as he made the "Buu" sound, indicating it was wrong. "The answer is four. When I was explaining to you the aura personality analysis."

You, Gon and Killua grew a vein. "That's a dirty, dirty trick!" You three thought at the same time.

"Now, I have a warning for you, If you had you been using Gyo all this time, you could've dodged my gum..." Hisoka said as he looked at Gon. "However, what about situation one, two, and three?"

You, Gon and Killua widen your eyes as you three realised it. "Have you figured it out? I could place my bungee gum on you while directly attacking you." Hisoka said. "You only need to conceal your aura when you wish to caught your opponent off guard. Normally, people will use their aura when attacking."

You sighed as you rubbed your temples while Killua was thinking about the whole situation. "So...The only way to stop Hisoka's bungee gum is to dodge every attack of his." You thought. "Blocking is out of the choices too as blocking requires physical contact with Hisoka..."

"Now, enough talk. Let us prepare for another fight. Let's resu-" Hisoka tried to say but stopped immediatly when Gon, despite having his bungee gum stuck on his cheek, dashed towards him.

Gon then raised his fist and prepare to punch Hisoka in the face once again. Suprisingly, Hisoka didn't dodged or block Gon's punch, instead he let Gon punch him hard on the cheek.

Seeing this is a perfect opportunity, Gon gave Hisoka a bunch of hard punches and kicks to the face. Then, after awhile, Hisoka seems to realised what's happening and dodged one of Gon's punch before pulling the gum in Gon's cheek and punched Gon in the same cheek.

Gon was sended flying but Hisoka pulled the gum again making Gon fly back towards Hisoka. Gon gasped as he realised Hisoka was about to punch him again so he raised both of his hands and blocked Hisoka's punch. Gon slide backwards but stand right back in.

The referree then raised his hand. "Critical for both sides! Plus two points! Plus knockdown for Hisoka! 9 points for Hisoka! 4 points for Gon!"

Gon quickly looked at the referree. "Eh!? I never was knocked down! I stood back in! I even blocked his punch!" Gon protested but the referree only shook his head.

The crowd then complained as well, all thinking somethings wrong with the referree. "All right, we have another strange call, because of the referree's choice of scores, the whole arena is filled with boos!"

Gon decided to let it slide and shook his head and turn to Hisoka. "If Hisoka hit Gon with just one more attack, it's over..." You thought, worried.

Gon glared at Hisoka, thinking of a plan. Then, Hisoka chuckled. "You must be more vigilant, Gon." Hisoka said, making Gon look at him in confusion.

Hisoka then pointed to Gon's right side. "Take a look at the right." Hisoka said. Gon, being the gullible person he is, obdiently look at his right.

Then, suddenly, a large rock hit Gon in the cheek, hard. Hisoka chuckled more. "Oh, sorry, I meant MY right." He said as he pointed to his right.

Gon stumbled all the way to the edge of the ring but stood right back up. However, the referree raised his hands. "Down and clean hit! Plus two points! 11-4! The winner by TKO is, Hisoka!" The referree declared as he pointed to Hisoka.

...

The whole arena was filled with silence. No one dared to speak because of how shock they are. The only sound you can hear is Gon saying silent and confuse "Eh?"

You sighed as you recovered from shock and just smiled apologetically at Gon as Killua did the same.

Gon and Hisoka stared at each other for awhile and eventually, Hisoka left the ring, leaving Gon staring at his back.

The fight was finally over, you and Killua visited Gon in the resting room. You both found him sitting in a bench with frustrate, disappointed and actually an exhausted look.

You both walked over to him and Killua gave Gon a pat on the shoulder. Gon looked up and saw the two of you. You and Killua smiled at as soon as you both knew what he's gonna say. "Better luck next time, Gon." Killua said, as his best friend.

You nodded. "The progress you've was wonderful but I guess the only thing we left out is your experience." You said. "But don't worry, someday, you'll win against Hisoka!"

Gon looked down and looked up again but this one has a big smile. "Yeah! You're right!" He said and stood up, he then clenched his fist and smirked. "Someday, I'll defeat him for sure! That's a promise!" He said.

Then, he began stumbling as if going to fall. Luckily, you were right beside him and catched him before he falls to the hard ground. The back of his head landed on your chest and you used your hands to support his weight. "Whoa! Gon! You okay?" You asked.

Gon slightly opened his eyes. "Yeah...Just tired..." He muttered.

You smiled at him. "Silly..." You said.

Then, Killua widen his eyes in shock as you leaned in and gave Gon a peck on the lips. Gon quickly opened his eyes and blushed deep red. Gon then breathed heavily for awhile before passing out.

You slightly panic as he passed out. "A-Ah...Do you think I did wrong when I gave a him a peck on the lips!?" You panic as you turned to Killua, who have a vein in his forehead.

"My answer to your question will be...Yes and No." Killua said. "Yes, because you did it right infront of me!" He yelled making you flinch.

"And no, because Gon probably enjoyed it." Killua said as he looked at Gon's passed out face.

You stared at Killua. "How can you be sure about that?" You asked.

Killua sighed. "Looking at his face might answer your question." You obdiently turned to look at Gon's face and widen your eyes as you saw it.

"Gon passed out because of his lack of experience with what you did but I can tell he enjoyed it." Killua said. "Because, look at him..."

"He's smiling..."

*Sigh* finally! The first week of school is finished! I could finally rest and update this story! Bad news is, that I have couple of assignments to finish but I guess I can deal with that later.
