Chapter Thirty Eight : Falling In Love

Days passed as you and the boys were left alone in your home by Yumi, who still hasn't come back yet. While waiting for Yumi to come back home, you and the boy's relationship got deeper to the point where you can actually feel that something is changing within you. Your feelings for the three boys had suddenly increased this pass few days. You blushed more often than before now. Your body has now been reacting to every little thing they did. You'll laugh whenever some of them gave you a joke, even if it's not funny at all. You just can't control it anymore.

It was night time right now. Probably around midnight. You were still wide awake thinking about what's happening to you. You covered your mouth with a blanket and looked over to the side. There, you saw Gon and Killua sleeping. You giggled as they were on a ridiculous position and a drool was coming out of their mouths.

You then sighed, thinking again of the same thing. Whenever they smile and hot closer to you, your heart will always pound so hard that you fear it might jump out of your chest.

Then, this made you think. All of the boys had just declared their love for you a few months ago and you never gave them any answer. You promised to answer them however, time has already gone ahead so far, you still haven't had any answers to give each of them.

But what's important is, WHAT will you say to them? Are you gonna reject them? No, definitely not. You're too nice of a woman to do that. Besides, why would you ever reject them when your body is already saying "Yes" and your mind was slowly saying the same thing? Accept their feelings? Not really a good idea. If you accept their feelings, that would mean you will be with three men! Who heard of a girl being with three guys? That's wrong!

So, the final option would probably the best one but oh-so difficult to do so. Accept one of them's feelings, letting the other two to be depress or disappointed. But you can't do that! It will break your heart to do so! So what now? Just reject all of them and break their hearts and hurt their feelings? No! Definitely not!

Then, what...? What are you supposed to do now? Just pick one of them? Pick Gon, an innocent and cute boy who is on a quest to find his father? Pick Killua, who wanted to forget his past and start a new life with his new bestfriend and possibly...you? Pick Kurapika, a guy who is five years older than you and wanted revenge for the demise of his clan?

Just...What are you gonna do now?

It was morning, you woke up pretty late but it's still pretty early as your three male companions were still sleeping peacefully. Right now, you're currently making some breakfast and thinking about your feelings.

As you got more and more involved in thinking about your feelings, you didn't realise that someone just came downstairs.

Gon, Killua energetically got up their futons, playing with each other in the process. At the same time they leaved your and their room, Kurapika came of his as well. No one knows how that happen or is it a coincidence? But to the boys, they didn't care and just went downstiars like usual.

As they came downstairs, they instantly smiled as they saw your back figure. Gon grinned as he went behind you and gripped your shoulders, startling and snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Good morning, (Y/N)!" He yelled, cheerfully. He does this every morning now and your quite used to it but today is a little different.

As he startled you, your finger accidentally touched the heated pan infront you. You quickly move your hand from the pan to avoid more serious injury but it still hurt you. You dropped the spatula your holding ang gripped your hand. "Ah!" You exclaimed, in pain.

Gon realised what he's done and his face quickly turned from happy into worry. "S-Sorry, (Y/N)!" He said and grabbed the hand you burned and stuck your burned finger inside his mouth.

You widen your eyes in shocked and slowly turned pink. It's feels weird having your finger inside Gon's mouth but Gon, himself, doesn't look bothered at all.

Hearing the commotion and your small shriek from the kitchen, Kurapika and Killua stopped what they're doing and rushed to the kitchen. There, they didn't saw a wonderful sight. You blushing while your finger is inside Gon's mouth.

Killua grew a vein and Kurapika blinked. "What's happening here...?" Killua asked, slightly mad.

Gon looked at Killua with your finger still inside his mouth. "Hm?" Gon exclaimed. "Oh, (Y/N) burned herself because of me." He said, voice being slightly muffled by your finger inside his mouth.

You blushed. "What a blunt answer!" You thought.

Kurapika sweatdropped. "Hey, Gon..." He said as Killua grew a bigger vein. "You only need to put (Y/N)'s finger in your mouth if she CUT herself. But since she just burned herself, you don't need to do that." He explained.

Gon opened his mouth with a face that meant he learned something new and you slowly moved your fingers away from his mouth. "Oh." He said.

Then, suddenly, Gon turned deep red and turned to you. "I-I-I-I'm sorry (Y/N)! I-It's just...Well, I...Gah! I'm so sorry! I didn't know!" He exclaimed.

You couldn't help but smile at this. He was very cute. He always have. You giggled and pat his head.

"It's okay."

It was 11:00 in the morning. You were watching in a television, peacefully. The guys were in their rooms doing their own work since you all have no actual work to do today so you all try to do your own.

While flipping through the channels in the television, you stumbled upon a movie where people is eating a cake. You mentally drooled at this and suddenly got an urge to eat a cake yourself.

"Oh yeah! I have a chocolate cake in the refrigarator!" You thought as you hopped from the sofa and went to the kitchen. "I was planning to eat that but forgotten about it!"

Upon entering the kitchen, your face fell into disappointment, sadness and anger as you saw the sight that awaits you. Killua was sitting on a chair with a plate that is stained with chocolate.

You watched in horror as Killua ate the last piece of the chocolate cake before he opened one eye and saw you. He smiled at you with bits of cake in his mouth. "Yo, (Y/N)!" He said, cheerfully like he hasn't done something.

Normally, you'll find this kind of smile coming from Killua, very cute. But right now, you didn't pay much attention to that. Killua noticed your horrored expression and decided to ask you about it. "Hey, what's wrong? You look like you've just seen someone died infront of you."

You looked down, sadly, trying to hide your disappointment. "...My...Chocolate Cake..." You muttered, silently.

But Killua heard you perfectly. He's face suddenly turn into a panic expression. "...Crap! Is this yours!?" He exclaimed.

You bit your lips and nodded, sadly. Killua widen his eyes and walked over to you. "S-Sorry!" He said as he placed his hand on your shoulder. "I-I
Didn't mean to! Promise! It was just inside the refrigator so I thought no one else owned it so..."

You sighed, sadly and looked up at him with sad smile. "You know what, it's okay." You said. "What's done is done."

Then, your sad smile turned into a big happy one. "Besides, we can always buy another one! I'm just really hungry just now, I'm sorry." You said as you playfully knocked your head and stuck out your tounge. "You know how we, girls, get when we're hungry."

Killua smiled a twitchy smile. "Right..." He said.

It was almost night time. You're luck was pretty unlucky today. First off, this morning, Gon startled you, thus, accidentally burning your finger by touching a heated pan. Next, just when you were in a urge to eat a delicious cake, Killua have gone ahead before you and ate the whole chocolate cake. You can't blame him though, in fact, it was your fault for leaving the tasty cake in a refrigator and forgetting about it. Also forgetting about the silver-haired's chocolate addiction.

You were outside of your house today, in your backyard where your animals were freely running and playing around. You were sitting on the grass, staring at the orange sky and the setting sun.

A sigh came to your lips but eventually smiled. You were outside of your house because you felt like there might more bad lucks that will strike if you stay inside longer. Then, you heard someone from behind you, that felt like he just stepped on something because you heard a silent crack of a stick.

"Ah..." It said as you looked behind you and saw Kurapika. He have a suprised face as he was looking down. You looked down on where he was looking and widen your eyes.

"The flowers I tried so hard to protect!" You screamed in your head.

"Oh no..." Kurapika said as he moved away from the crushed plant and crouched and touched the plant. "These are beautiful...How did I not see it?" He said.

You stood up from where your sitting and quickly ran for the poor plant. "No, no, no..." You said, as you kneeled down to the flower.

You gently touched the soft colorful petal of the flower that is now slowly withering. Your face saddens and looked down. Another misfortunate thing to happen. It's starting to make you depress.

Kurapika has guilt all over his face as he looked at you. "I-I'm sorry. They were so tiny, I didn't see them." He said. "I'm really sorry, I promise I'll make it back to you."

You bit your bottom lips and slowly looked up at Kurapika. To Kurapika's suprise, you smiled. "It's okay. This is just part of my bad luck that's all." You said as you scratched the back of your head. "Man, did I used all my good luck yesterday? All I have today is bad luck...I feel like I'm cursed or something."

Kurapika patted your head. "Don't worry, you're not cursed. It was my fault not yours." He said. "I promise I'll make it up to you somehow."

You're in your room, still grieving about your precious flower. But then, suddenly, for some reason, your mind drifted to certains someones. You blushed once again as you hugged your pillow tight. It was obviously Gon, Killua and Kurapika again!

What's up with you and your mind drifting to the three of them all of a sudden!? You calmed down and just went with it before you close your eyes and think about the three boys.

"I'm sorry I startled you!"

"I'm sorry I ate your cake!"

"I'm sorry I stepped on your plant!"

The apologies they said to you this day was just so simple yet easily can be forgiven when they are the one who say it...

Ba-dump

You snapped open your eyes and sat up from your bed. You inhaled deeply as you placed your hand onto your chest. That familiar feeling! You felt that long ago when you first met Killua, Gon and Kurapika! Why is it appearing now? After all the chances it can appear why now?

Then, suddenly, you widen your eyes in realisation and got up from your bed and ran to your bookshelf, searching for a book. Once you found the book your looking for, which is the dictionary, you quickly searhed for a certain word and finally found it.

Love :

A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person

It said. You widen your eyes and slowly closed your book as you finally got the pieces together in your head.

"Do I love...Gon, Killua and Kurapika?" You thought but shooked your head. "No, just one of them...But I don't know who..." You thought.

Then, suddenly, there was a knock at your door. You stood from the floor and opened your door, only to see no one behind it. You looked around, confuse then when you looked down, you're suprised to see a delicious chocolate cake, a bouquet of (F/F), and a small rectugular shape box. You looked around in hopes of finding who left this to you, but found no one.

You bend down and carefully got all the stuff and went inside your room again, closing the door behind you.

You placed the stuff on your study table. You're still wondering who gave you this but just proceeded and checked out the stuffs.

The one that picks up your curiousity the most was the little box. You got it and carefully opened it. You pour the thing inside, revealing it to be a band-aid. Then, you widen your eyes as you saw that there is a text in it. It says

"I'm sorry, I♥︎U
From : Gon"

You gripped the band aid in your hand and bit your lips as you want to stop yourself from tearing up.

Smiling, you went on to the next gift. Because of who the first gift came from, you have now a pretty good idea and where the other two came from. You looked at the chocolate cake and saw text made of icing on top of it. You laughed as it was written quite sloppily but fortunately, you can still make it out. It says :

"(Y/N), I'm sorry for eating your cake. I love you.
~Killua"

You laughed at the text as you can imagine him blushing while writing this. Next, you went on to the last gift, a beautiful bouquet of (F/F), you gave it sniff before reading the text that is tied on one of the stem of the flower. It says :

"I apologize for stepping on your flower one more time. Have this instead and I still love you (Y/N)
~Kurapika"

You smiled widely as you deeply appreciated what he said. But it's saddens you though, they each said "I love you" to you yet, you haven't said any phrases like that to atleast one of them. Without knowing, a tear fell from your eyes and another and another. Despite your tears falling down, you're still smiling and is still happy on the side. "Oh no..." You thought. "With their words and their gifts..."

"I'm falling in love even more..."

A/N :

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry this took so long! I was not busy, but I was too lazy to update! So, this was rushed.

I actually forgot about my story but then remembered when I saw my Wattpad app I was like, "Oh my Gosh!!! Must update!!!" So, yeah.

Oh, and the "Almost Ending" announcement of mine must've sent some of you crazy. I knew I should've said that (￣▽￣).
