~Chapter Eleven : Phase Three Part Three~

After Kurapika defeated Majitani, Kurapika wore back his outer clothing and got his bokken swords and returned back to all of you, looking stressed.

"Are you alright?" You asked, concerned, not caring about how mad he is earlier.

"Yeah, I'm not injured..." He said.

Leorio seemed hesitant. "I-Is it okay for us to come near you?" He asked, nervously.

Kurapika just put his hand to his head, avoiding Leorio's question. "From the moment I saw him, I knew he was weak." Kurapika said. "And mentally, I knew that the tattoo was fake, but as soon as I saw the spider everything turned red." Kurapika said.

You, Gon and Leorio leaned in to hear more while Killua and Tonpa just stayed in their place, listening. "The truth is that...Even when I see a normal spider, my personality changes and I enter a frenzy."

You all opened your mouth in agape. "Y-You should've told that to us ealier..." Leorio said, nervously.

Kurapika walked towards the wall and sat down. "But this means that, the rage in me still remains stronger than ever. I should be happy about it..." Kurapika said as he ducked his head on his arms, stressly.

You all looked at him. "I guess we need to keep Kurapika away from spiders..." You heard Gon whisper. You and the others nodded. "Definitely."

You sweatdropped but sighed in relief. "Good thing I can't immitate a spider...Spiders are not animals anyway, they're bugs, I think...?" You thought.

You all decide to leave Kurapika alone for now since he looked like he needed time alone and looked back across of you.

There, another prisoner appeared from across the room but her shackles were still in her hands, locked and her sheet were still over her body.

Leorio stepped forward as he decided himself he will be the next combatant.

"Okay! I'll secure our victory!" Leorio declared. "Now, move that guy out of here and send in your next prisoner!" Leorio yelled.

"We can't." A female voice was heard on the other side, indicating that Leorio's opponent will be a female. "The battle isn't over yet." She said as walked over to the Majitani's unconcisious body and touched it.

"He's still alive. He's just unconcisious." She said, making all of you widen your eyes. "Didn't you remember? The method was a death match. The fight doesn't end until one surrenders or die." She reminded all of you as she stood up. "He's not dead and he hasn't surrendered yet." She said as she walked back to the other prisoners with a giggle.

"Tsk. Damn technicalities..." Leorio muttered.

"Well, she's right." Killua said.

"I agree..." Gon said.

You turned to Leorio. "Just a little patience, okay?" You said, smiling slightly.

Leorio turned away and let out a "Tch." He turned to Kurapika. "Hey, Kurapika! Go back in there and finish off that worthless trash!" Leorio said.

Kurapika only looked up at Leorio then, closed his eyes. "I refuse." Kurapika said.

"Huh?" Leorio stayed there for awhile. On the seconds he was not moving, you slowly backed away from him and walk backwards beside Killua, expecting him to let out a loud protest.

"WHY!?" Leorio yelled. Okay, it wasn't as loud as you expected it to be, but still.

"The fight is over." Kurapika simply said. "When I punched him, he already lose all of his will to fight." Kurapika said. "I never fight anyone who's lost."

"True..." You thought and smiled. "Kurapika's a nice person..."

"Screw that!" Leorio yelled. "They said we can't do anything without deciding who won!"

"Let him decide then." Kurapika answered. "We'll wait until he wakes up then, ask him." Kurapika said.

"Hey, we don't have much time, you know!" Leorio yelled. "We can't afford to sit here and wai-"

Kurapika cutted him off. "I have no intention of killing!" He yelled.

"Come on!" Leorio protest.

Then, suddenly Killua walked in. "Hey...If you don't want to dirty your hands, let me do it instead." Killua suggested. "You haven't killed anyone before, right?"

Kurapika just looked down. "Are you scared?" Killua asked.

Kurapika was silent for a second but then, spoke again. "I never considered if murder is frightening or not." He simply answered then looked up at Killua. "Besides, this is a one-on-one battle. You aren't allowed to interfere." Kurapika said.

Killua closed his eyes and shrugged. "Okay then..." But raised his index finger. "But you know! This whole phase needs us to work as a team! So don't be too selfish!" Killua said.

"Oh!" Leorio exclaimed. "You do say something good! Keep it up!" He said as he turned to Kurapika. "Now, do you understand that your screwing up our chances!?" Leorio yelled.

"Sorry, but I won't change my mind." Kurapika said.

Leorio head-butted Kurapika,lightly, making Kurapika narrow his eyebrows in annoyance. "You stubborn fool..." Leorio muttered.

Then, Leorio stood up. "Alright! Majority decision! Press O to kill him, X to let him live!" Leorio said as he instantly pressed the O button.

You all stared at the monitor but it remains black. "Why isn't it working!?" Leorio yelled.

"Maybe it only works when the examineer is the one who's asking the question?" You said.

"Exactly, the watches only work on the questions that the examineer prepared." Killua explained

"Agreed." Gon said.

Leorio sighed. "I see..." He said and raised his hand. "Then, raised your hands if you want Kurapika to finish the guy off!" He said.

He opened his eyes to see that no one was raising their hands and turned to Killua. "You traitor...Weren't you lecturing Kurapika earlier with me!?" Leorio yelled. "We were supposed to be a team! A team!"

Killua turned around. "It's pointless! He really looked like he's not gonna change his mind no matter what we do!" Killua reasoned.

Leorio turned to Gon next. "Hey, Gon! Why do you oppose on killing him?" Leorio asked.

Gon raised his index finger. "Because Kurapika's right. He really was in a verge of surrendering." Gon reasoned as he looked at Kurapika. "Let's just wait until he wakes up."

Then, finally Leorio turned to you. "How about you, (Y/N)? You're with me, right?" Leorio asked, smiling at you.

You sweatdropped and smiled apologetically. "Sorry...But I'm with the others on this one." You said. "Plus, killing someone is horrible, you know! So, I don't want to force Kurapika on doing something horrible." You said, smiling. "So, I suggest what everybody else suggest, wait until he wakes up."

"But we won't know how long it will take." Leorio grumbled. "I should just..."

"You shouldn't force people to do what you want." You all turn around to see Tonpa. "Different people has different circumtances and ideals."

"No one asked for your opinion." Leorio said.

"Hey..." Tonpa smirked. "Majority ruling means that you're asking everybody's opinion, right?"

Leorio growled. "Damn it! Fine! Do whatever you want!" Leorio yelled as he walked on the corner and sat down, mumbling some stuff.

"Leorio..." Gon said. "He's sulking..."

You all listen to Leorio as he kept mumbling words that you all can't really understand what.

"Just leave him alone." Killua said as he turned around, placing his hands back onto his head.

You and Gon followed him. "Wow, I feel bad for Leorio..." You sweatdropped.

Killua turned to you. "Why do you feel bad? It's not your fault every of his plans got rejected." Killua said.

"Even so..." You muttered but didn't continue.

Hours have passed and the situation still haven't changed. Majitani was still lying on the ground, Kurapika's still not changing his mind, Leorio is still in a bad mood and they haven't advanced yet.

You were only sitting at the edge of the ground, swinging your legs back and forth, patiently waiting for the guy to wake up. Killua was leaning on the wall with his eyes close. Gon is just standing there. Waiting for the guy to wake up. You and Killua noticed how serious he looks at the guy and decided to go to him.

"Is there something wrong, Gon?" Killua asked.

"Yeah. You look too serious." You said as you smiled at him.

"Uh-huh." Gon said and pointed to the blue guy who was still 'unconcsious'. You and Killua studied him for awhile and instantly widen both of your eyes.

"I get it..." Killua muttered as you nodded.

Killua walked towards Leorio with you and Gon following him. "Hey." Killua said. Leorio looked up with an annoyed look. "It's possible that the guy is probably dead by now." Killua said as you nodded.

Leorio widen his eyes and sat up. "What?" He said as he ran and looked at the guy. Kurapika and Tonpa sat up and walked towards Leorio.

"Because it's been several hours and he hasn't moved an each." Gon said.

"Tsk. It's too far away for us to see." Leorio said. "Hey! We want to check his body!" He yelled across.

The woman earlier appeared again. "What was that?" She said.

"He could already be dead." Leorio said.

"I told you. He's still alive. He's just unconcsious." The woman said.

"Several hours have pass! I can't take anymore of your words!" Leorio yelled.

From behind the sheets, you can feel the woman smirked. "Then, let's make a bet." She said.

"A bet?" Leorio repeated. "On what?"

"On wheather he's still alive or not." The woman answered.

"What would we wager?" Leorio asked.

"That's obvious. Time." She said.

"Time?" Leorio repeated.

"Yes. We'll settle our match with a betting game. A gamble." She said. "But we'll use time instead of chips."

You widen your eyes. "Gamble? I heard it before but never actually know how to play it though. I guess you bet on something?" You thought, questionaly.

"Look at the monitor." The woman said. You all looked at the screen and a 50-50 appeared. "We each have fifty hours. However we can only wager multiples of ten." She said. "We can continue placing bets until one us has no hours left." She explained.

"A match where we gamble time..." You heard Leorio muttered.

"We'll take turns on deciding what to bet on." She said. "If you ended up with zero, you're time limit will be shortened by fifty hours." She explained.

"And if you ended with zero?" Leorio asked.

"Our sentences will be extended by fifty years." She simply said. "If this terms are acceptable, I'll be the one to check if he's still alive or not." She said.

You all stared at her for awhile and looked at Leorio. "Man, this chick is wack." Leorio muttered.

"Consider your answer carefully, Leorio." Kurapika said. "If you lose, were have our time limit shortened by fifty hours."

"You shouldn't talk. After all, this is your fault for not finishing him off!" Leorio said.

Kurapika crossed his arms over his chest. "Fine! I wouldn't talk!" Kurapika yelled.

"Come on! Let's not fight amongst ourselves!" Gon said.

You and Killua looked at each other and shrugged. Both of you are getting lost with them. Then, suddenly, Leorio pointed at the woman. "Alright! I accept!" Leorio yelled.

"Okay! I chose our first bet so you can decide how many hours you'll wager on wheather he's alive or dead." The woman said.

Leorio thought for a moment and raised his index finger. "I bet ten hours that he's alive!" He said.

The woman chuckled. "Okay then, let's check." She said as walk towards the lying guy.

Leorio was about to walk over him but Kurapika spoke up. "You're being pretty cautious..." Kurapika said.

Leorio looked back and smirked slightly. "Weren't you going to say something else?" Leorio said as he continued to walk towards the guy.

You all watched as Leorio reached the guy and turn him over and checked his pulse. "See? He's just unconcsious." The woman said.

"Seems so." Leorio said as the monitor turned 40-60.

You widen your eyes, amazed. "Ooh! Is this how you gamble?" You thought.

"All right! Leorio has the lead!" Gon cheered.

"This is bad..." Killua muttered but loud enough for all of you to hear. You all turned to him. "It's possible that he isn't going to wake up." Killua said.

You all leaned over him. "What do you mean?" Kurapika asked.

Killua turned to him. "Remember when that woman walked near the guy on the floor?" He asked.

"What of it?" Kurapika asked.

"I thought then that he was already dead." Killua said as he turned back to look at Leorio, who was checking the guy's eyes. "But on second thought, they'd obviously prefer him alive but remaining unconcsious." Killua explained. "If he doesn't wake up before the test ends, there sentenced will be shortened by seventy-two years."

"So, if he doesn't wake up we'll..." Gon said.

Killua looked at him. "That's my point!" He said.

"So this is their intention after all." Kurapika said.

They all looked back at Leorio but you just smiled at them. "Let's have faith on Leorio." You suddenly said.

They all turned to you. "I'm not sure if he'll win or not but let's atleast let him know that we have faith in him. He's part of the team after all!" You said as you smed widely.

The three boys looked at you. Then, Kurapika and Gon smiled. "You're right!" Gon said, smiling.

"That's true. Leorio might lose all of his motivation if he noticed we don't have faith in him." Kurapika said, smiling.

Killua turned around and put his hands back on to his head. "Man, you really know how to light up a gloomy atmosphere, huh?" Killua said, smiling slightly.

"I sure do!" You smiled as you looked back to Leorio and the woman.

"Well, it's your turn now. Decide on what we'll bet on." The woman said.

"Let's see..." Leorio paused. You all stared at him, wondering what he'll bet on. Then, Leorio pointed to the lying guy. "How about we bet wheather this guy is truly unconcsious." Leorio said.

You all smiled, knowing he did realise it too. "I get it..." Killua said.

"See?" You said as they all nodded and looked back at Leorio.

"Okay, I bet twenty hours that he really is unconcsious." The woman said. "But how do we confirm if he's really unconcsious?" The woman asked.

Then, Leorio walked up to Majitani's body and put his hands on Leorio's shoulder and lifted him up. "That's simple." He said as he walked over to the edge and hold him dangerously closed on falling. "I'll just toss him around the edge." Leorio said.

"If he's really unconcsious, he'll fall to his death." Leorio said.

"Are you insane?" The woman said with a hint of panic on her voice. "His match hasn't been settled yet. We can't accept those terms." The woman said.

Leorio smiled. "Don't worry, if he falls and dies. We'll forfeit the match, which will give you two wins." Leorio explained. "Is that a satisfactory?"

The woman paused for a second. "Yes. It is." She said. "But then, I'm changing my wager. I bet forty hours that he isn't unconcsious. Everything I have left." She said.

"That's unfair!" You thought as you were all suprised by the sudden change of her bet. "It's kinda obvious that the guy is not unconcsious! I can see he's sweating!" You thought.

"Heh. Little sneak." Leorio smirked. "Finally showing your true colors."

You all stared as Leorio taking a little while to release the guy and you swear you can hear heartbeats that is getting faster in every single minute.

Then, Leorio finally spoke up. "Then, I'll let go of him." He said as he did so.

Then, as you all expected, Majitani opened his eyes quickly and frail around, desprately finding something to hold on. "W-Wait! I'm awake! I'm awake! Don't let go!" He said as tried to hold on to Leorio but didn't reach him. "Whoa! I-I'm gonna fall!"

As he was about to fall, Leorio grab hold of his hand. "Good morning!" He said as he pulled him back to the ground.

Majitani stumbled to the ground and landed on his bottom. "You people are crazy!" He yelled. "That's it! I'm done! I lose!" He said as he stood up and walk back to the other prisoners. "It's much safer in prison!"

Leorio walked near the woman. "You knew he was awake all this time." She said.

Leorio smiled. "I actually aspire to become a doctor." He said. "All I had to do was look at his eye movements." Leorio explained.

The screen's score turned into 80-20. Which means Leorio is close on losing the match.

"However, you're down at twenty hours." The woman reminded him.

"But now, we have 2-1 lead." Leorio answered back as the monitor above all of you turn into two.

"Now, it's your turn. What do you want to bet on?" Leorio said as he pointed to the woman.

The woman stayed still for awhile and Leorio spoke up again. "Well, are you gonna tell me what the next bet will gonna be? Or did you lose your nerve because I found out your scheme?" Leorio said as he put his hands on one of his hips.

Then, the woman's shackles were unlocked. "Very well." She said as she took off her sheet revealing herself to be a not-too old pink-haired woman that is tied into two ponytails with a yellow and her eyes to be colored violet.

You all heard Leorio squealed and chuckled creepily.

You opened your mouth at amazement. "Whoa! I never thought that the miss would be so cute!" You said as you looked up, dreamily with a smile on your face. "I wish I could be cute as her someday!" You said, with hope in your eyes.

Killua 'hmph'. "What part of that woman is cute?" Killua said turning around. "In my opinion, you look fine the way you are..." Killua muttered, slowly turning pink.

Gon looked at you, smiling. "Yeah! Killua's right! You're cute, (Y/N)!" Gon said, without a moment of hesitation and doubt but have a tint of pink on his cheeks.

You blushed and Killua looked at Gon with the face that says, "How the hell did he hear that!?" And "How can he say that so bluntly!?".

"Really? But Yumi-san says that I still have more ways to go." You said, remembering your mother-like guardian.

Kurapika chuckled and pat your head as you turned around and looked up at him. "Well, whoever Yumi-san is, I think that she meant that you can still be cute or rather, be beautiful when you grow older." Kurapika said, smiling. Strangely, he has a almost not visible tint of red in his cheeks.

You turned pink but smiled. "Oh, I see...I need to thank her when I return. But for now, thanks for telling that to me...Gon, Kurapika." You said as Gon and Kurapika nodded.

Killua looked back and forth at Gon and Kurapika, pouting as he felt jealousy to the both of them because they had your full attention. He bit his bottom lip and turned to you. "You're cuter than anyone I've known, okay!?" Killua yelled and instantly, covered his mouth with his arm in embarassment. He turned away from you, face redder than a tomato.

"Stupid! You just had to feel jealous and blurt that out! She probably thinks your weird now!" Killua thought.

But instead he heard a giggle from you and turned to look at you. "Thank you! You're cute too yourself, you know?" You said as you smiled at him with a pink blush on your cheeks.

He blushed again and turned around and looked back to Leorio. "S-Stop that. It's embarassing..." He mumbled.

You giggled. "Okay, okay..." You said as you turned back to Leorio.

On the other hand, Kurapika has a serious face. "Killua...feels something for (Y/N), doesn't he?" Kurapika thought and looked at Gon who was looking at you. "And it looks like Gon does too..." He thought as he looked back to Leorio.

Gon, however, was confused. "...Huh? For some reason, I felt a little angry that (Y/N) was happy cause Killua called her cute...I feel like I only wanted (Y/N) to feel happy when I'm the one who compliment her..." He thought as he shook his head and look to Leorio again. "I should stop being selfish! This is Killua were talking about! He's your friend!"

"Anyway, that old man is probably dancing on the inside." Killua said.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Kurapika mumbled.

You and Gon just blinked, oblivious on what is happening.

"Well then, let's bet on whether I'm a man or a woman." The woman said.

Leorio widen his eyes. "Huh?" He exclaimed.

"What's wrong? There's no problem with that, right?" The woman said.

"N-No..." Leorio said as he thought about the situation. "But how will you prove if I'm wrong?"

"Let's see..." The woman said. "How about I'll let you check every part of my body until you're satisfied?" The woman said as she put her hands to her chest.

"S-Seriously!? Her body..." Leorio said as he eyes slowly trailed down to her chest.

Back at the three of you, Killua and Kurapika has an annoyed look. "Leorio's gonna bet she's a man." Kurapika guessed.

"Yeah." Killua agreed.

"Huh? Why?" You and Gon asked in unison.

"Why would he bet that she's a man when it's obvious she's a woman?" You asked while Gon nodded.

But before Kurapika and Killua can explain, Leorio spoke up. "Alright! I bet ten hours that you're a man!" Leorio yelled as he pointed to the woman, who smirked at him.

Kurapika closed his eyes. "I knew it." He said.

"Dirty old man..." Killua said.

You and Gon are confused out your minds as you both turned around to face to two males who understand everything. "Eh? How did you know!?" You and Gon asked.

You both listen as Killua explained everything to the both of you. "...And there you have it." Killua finished.

You and Gon hummed in understanding. "I see..." You both said.

"Okay! Reveal the answer!" Leorio said.

The girl smirked at him. "Too bad. I'm a woman." She said.

"R-Really?!" Leorio said, acting suprise.

"Then, would you like to check?" The woman said as she put her index finger on her lips.

Leorio frailed his fingers around and walked towards the girl. "B-B-But of course!" He said as he touched "it".

After he did that, it felt like Leorio just turned into an angel that has visited the heaven and been given a second chance to live.

Killua sighed and Kurapika put his hand to his head, face-palming. "Just watching hurts..." Kurapika said.

"He's gonna lose." You all turned around as soon as you all heard Tonpa speak.

"He's been betting converstively to minimize the damage from either outcome. A gambler who focuses on avoiding loss won't even win." Tonpa said as he smirked. "I guess someone like Leorio doesn't stand a chance against this opponent."

Then, the woman pointed at Leorio. "It's your turn to think of a gamble. What do you want to bet on?" The woman asked.

Leorio was suddenly was bring back to reality and looked at the monitor. Seeing that it turn into 90-10, he slightly panicked.

"Leorio has no more room for error." Kurapika spoke up. "If he loses this next wager, the overall score would be 2-2 and we will have fifty fewer hours to escape the tower."

"I can't lose the next round but I can't think of anything that can surefire win." Leorio said thinking outloud. "Oh! How about we bet whether I'm a man or a woman? But no, that definitely won't work." Leorio mumbled.

Killua looked at Leorio. "Hey now, old man, You're thinking aloud!" He said.

Then, Gon raised his index finger. "Oh, I know!" He said as he turn to Leorio. "Leorio! How about you bet whether you're still in teens or not!" Gon suggested.

You smiled. "Good idea!" You thought.

But Leorio scowled. "Come on, Gon! I don't look that old! I'm clearly a teenager!" He said.

You pouted. "But it's good idea though." You thought as you sighed in disappointment.

The woman behind him almost fell, anime style. "T-Teenager?" She exclaimed, shocked and looked at Leorio carefully. "He looks like an old man..." She muttered.

"Alright! In this case, we'll use rock-paper-scissors!" Leorio yelled. "A bet on who'll win a game of rock-paper-scissors!" Leorio yelled.

The woman chuckled. "Sure." She said.

"Rock-paper-scissors?" Kurapika said. "Why did he have to pick such a difficult wager?"

Gon turned around. "Eh? Rock-paper-scissors is hard?" He asked.

"Well, in real life, it's not really that hard but in our situation, it's risky." You said. "Because rock-paper-scissors are based on luck and mind."

"Let's see..." The woman said. "I'll put eighty hours on my victory."

"E-Eighty hours!?" Leorio exclaimed.

"There's no problem with it right? I can bet as much as I want." She said.

"W-Well...That's true." Leorio said.

"And if you lose, I can still take ten hours from you." The woman said. "Don't worry."

Leorio sweat nervously, obviously in stress.

"It's just like as (Y/N) says, rock-paper-scissors have simple rules but based on luck and the game is very complex." Kurapika explained. "If you consider the game from a probability of a standpoint, there's only one-third chance of winning." Kurapika continued. "However, if your opponent can predict your reasoning and can control your reactions, defeat is most likely to happen"

"In other words, Simple-minded Leorio will be at disadvantage." Killua added.

"I see..." Gon said.

"Alright! I've decide my decision!" Leorio declared as he turned around to face the woman who smirked at him.

"What?" Leorio said.

"It's obvious what you'll use." She said. "I can read minds."

Leorio pointed at her. "Liar! Your bluffing won't scare me!" He yelled.

"You'll believe me soon." The woman said, calmly.

"Leorio will use rock." Kurapika said, making Gon turned around confused. "Huh?" Gon said.

"Let's do this!" The woman said, making Leorio start unprepared.

"Rock...Paper...Scissors!" She said as she draws out a rock so did Leorio.

Leorio sighed in relief when he saw that they both draw rock.

Gon raised his eyebrows in amazement. "You're right! Good guess!" He said.

"Nervous people unconcsously avoid actions like opening up." Kurapika explained. "So what she's trying to do is making Leorio uncomfortable so that he'll less likely use paper."

"So if she keeps using rock, she's guranteed to win or draw." Killua said.

"And there you have it, rock-paper-scissors is actually a mind game." Kurapika finished.

"I see...I never really thought that rock-paper-scissors is actually this complicated." Gon said.

Leorio looked up as if he realised something. "Hold on, now that you and I both use rock, that means we draw!" Leorio said.

"What of it?" The woman asked.

"A-ha!" Leorio said. "So you were lying when you said you can read minds!"

"I purposely drew out a rock." The woman said.

"Stop lying!" Leorio exclaimed.

"Did you forgot?" She said, making Leorio back up a little. "Our objective is to buy time." She said.

"If I chose to. I can give you an indefinite number of draws. But I figured it won't be fun." She said and smirked evilly. "So I'll end it in our next round."

This seems to make Leorio stress more. He was worrying on what will he pick and stressing at the same time.

"So, the miss wants Leorio to pick rock or paper?" You asked.

"Yes." Kurapika answered. "If she use paper, she's certain she won't lose."

"Then, Leorio just need to stay a step ahead!" Gon said.

"Well, if he calms down, it might work." Kurapika said.

"Leorio!" Gon yelled, making Leorio turn around.

"What is it!?" He yelled back.

"You'll win if you pick scissors next!" Gon said.

"Eh? Scissors?" Leorio said as he turned around.

The woman chuckled. "Go ahead and try." She said.

And once again, Leorio goes back to his dilemma. Stressing, worrying and fretting every now and then. "Ah! I don't know what to think anymore!" Leorio said, finally giving up.

"Here we go!" The woman said.

"Rock...Paper...Scissors!"

The woman draw a paper and Leorio drew out a rock. Meaning, Leorio just loss the match.

Th woman raised her hands up in victory! "I win!" She said as she laughed.

"Well, Leorio tried his best anyway..." You said as you smiled slightly.

"Now, the score is 2-2." Killua said.

"Worst, we have to give up fifty hours that he lost." Kurapika said as Leorio walked back to all of you.

"Sorry, I was pretty confident in my rock-paper-scissors skills." Leorio said.

"Pretty pathetic showing then." Tonpa said to him.

Leorio was about to argue when he stopped himself. "I can't argue on this one." He said.

You smiled at him. "Don't worry! You tried you hardest, right? That's all that matters!" You said, cheering him up. "Plus, they still need two more wins! And so does us!" You said.

Leorio smiled at you and pat your head. "Thanks, kid."

Then, another prisoner's shackles were unlocked and dropped to the floor and removed his sheets, revealing a...Pretty normal guy.

Normal hairstyle except the color is blue, normal look, not too mascular but not too weak either. He doesn't look like he has any evil intention because he's smiling quite...Innocently. "Alright! I'm next!" He said as he walked in the middle.

"Okay! I'm next then!" You said as you took off your bag.

"Are you sure, (Y/N)?" Gon asked you.

"Uh-huh!" You said as you smiled at him.

"Don't lower your guard. That guy looks innocent but he must be hiding something behind his sleeves." Kurapika smiled.

"Okay! Got it!" As you walked towards him.

"(Y/N)!" You heard Killua yell at you. You turned around. "Hmm?" You said.

Killua looked the other way. "Don't do anything stupid..." He said.

You smiled. "I won't!" You said as you continued walking to the guy.

The guy looked at you, still smiling innocently. "So, you're my opponent?" He said.

"Yup! Nice to meet you!" You said.

The people behind you face-palmed except for Gon. "She's interacting with him as if he's a new classmate or something." Killua said.

The guy chuckled at you. He looked like he's slightly taller than Kurapika and crouched down at your height and pat your head. "Nice to meet you too." He said.

Behind your back, three men were glaring daggers at the guy.

"Okay, let's settle this match." He said, standing up and thought of a method and after a while, he sighed. "Ah~ I just can't think of anything! Supposedly, I would pick death match but I just can't fight this cute little girl!" He said.

Then, the three glare became more and more dangerous, to the point Leorio and Tonpa decided to keep their distance.

Then, he snapped his fingers! "I get it! How about...A demand?" He said.

You looked up at him, confused. "Demand?" You repeated.

"That's right. I'll demand something from you and when you gave me what I wanted, I'll forfeit the match. But if you don't give it to me in ten minutes, you lose." He said.

"That is if you can find the thing I want." He thought, evilly.

"Okay! What do you want?" You asked.

"I happen to be a cat lover so...He stopped and continued. "I want a cat." He said as he smiled. "Good luck."

You widen your eyes so did the men behind you. "A cat!? Where the hell can we get that in this room!?" Leorio yelled.

You sweated immediatly. "Umm...Umm..." You said as you looked to the men behind you, who was staring at you. "Okay, (Y/N), calm down." You thought to yourself. "You need to decide. Show your powers making everybody hate you again or take the loss."

"I..." You started. "I-If you wanted to play with the tail...Be careful, it's really sensitive..." You said.

The guy widen his eyes as well as your friends as cat ears and tail grew on your body. "Will this do?" You said.

You looked at the guy and backed away slightly as you saw him drooling. "Umm...Is it?" You asked.

The guy nod his head, frantically. "Yeah! Totally!" He said as he ran towards you.

In instinct, you ran away from him. "Hey! You said you'll forfeit the match!" You yelled at him.

"Fine, Okay! I forfeit the match!" He said and your score turn into three.

"So, can you stop chasing me!?" You said, still running away from him.

He didn't answer as he continued chasing you. You grew a vein on your forehead and growled. "I'm sorry for this..." You muttered as you stopped and prepared to punch him.

When he got closer to you, you puched him in the cheek, making him fell to the ground, unconcsious with a a smile on his face. You sighed. "I win this round right?" You said to the other prisoners.

"Yeah." One said as he walked over to your opponent and carried him on his shoulder.

"I see..." You said as you go back to your friends, looking down.

You can't look at them, afraid that they'll hate you. "I wonder if they hate me, now?" You thought. Then you felt something wet in your eyes that fell to the ground. You widen your eyes and quickly wipe it off but it keeps falling and falling until it reaches to the point your sniffing and hiccupping.

Then, someone tap your shoulder. You look up to see Kurapika looking at you with a concerned look. "Hey, why are you crying?" He said. "Did that bastard do something to you!?" He asked.

You shook your head, no. Making Kurapika calm down. "Then, what?" He asked.

"I-I thought y-you all...hate me now..." You stuttered. "B-Because of this..." You said.

"What are you talking about?" Killua said. "When you told me and Gon your story, you mention something you don't want us to find out right? So were expecting that will find it out sooner or later." Killua said. "So we're kinda not suprise."

Gon smiled at you. "Yeah! And what's wrong with it? It looks so cute on you!" Gon said as he poked your cat ears, which you flinched.

"So, y-you don't hate me?" You asked.

"Kid! Don't think nonsense! Of course we don't!" Leorio said giving you a thumbs up.

You smiled at them. "Thanks." You said as you wiped your tears with your sleeves.

You calmed down after a few seconds and all of continued to battle with the prisoners.

"It's finally time for the last round." Kurapika said.

"Well, wish me luck." Killua said, about to walk.

"Eh!? Killua!? You're next!?" Leorio exclaimed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Killua asked, annoyed.

"Damn...I really should have win my match!" Leorio said.

Killua narrowed his eyes and pointed at Leorio while you and Gon calming him down. "Gon, (Y/N)...This guy is really pissing me off!" He said.

"Calm down..." You and Gon said, sweatdropping.

"Don't give up before we even know what the contest is!" Killua said and turned the other way pouting. "I'll accept anything but if it's mental math, then I'm surrendering." He muttered.

"That's right! Depending on the opponent, we still have a chance!" Leorio said.

Then, you all heard a sound of bricks being shattered and looked across all of you. A big and mascular man appeared, removing his sheets.

Leorio gasped. "That guy..." He said.

"You know him?" Gon asked.

"Let's take the loss...Killua! Don't fight him!" Leorio warned. "Johnness the dissector. A mass murderer in Zaban city. He killed 146 people with his bare hands and was known for his iron grip." Leorio explained

"It's been a while since I touched human flesh." Johnness said.

"You don't have to face a psychotic killer like him! There's always a next year!" Leorio warned Killua but Killua continued walking towards the guy.

"Killua! Hey! Is he even listening to me?" Leorio yelled.

"We should let him go." Kurapika said. "He could have a plan."

You and Gon were staring at Killua with no panic over your faces.

Then, finally, the two of them faced each other.

"So, how are we gonna settle this match?" Killua asked, calmly.

"Contest?" Johnness repeated. "I believe your confuse. This will be a one-sided massacre. I have no interest with the exam. I only want to hear you scream." He said

"Really? Okay." Killua said. "Then, whoever loses dies okay?" He said.

Johnness shows slight shock. "Yeah." He said as raised his hands up. "I'll tear your body apart."

Then, in a blink of an eye, Killua swiftly passed through him, creating a hole in his shirt. You all gasped.

"W-What?" Johnness exclaimed. "I feel cold..."

Then, Killua turned around, his eyes has no shine on it. Just plain dark blue while his mouth was smirking. He took out a brown cloth with something bloody and beating inside it.

"T-That's..." Johnness said as he struggled to turn around. "Mine." He said.

Johnness weakily and slowly walked to Killua to recover his heart. But before he could reach Killua, the heart stopped beating, making Johnness fall to the ground, dead. Then, after that, Killua squated down and gave him his heart and turned to the prisoners.

"Alright, that's four wins and two loss. We pass right?" Killua said.

"Y-Yeah...You pass." The guy said.

"By the way, your probably itching to fight because you didn't do something." Killua said, smirking. "Do you want to play with me?" He said.

The guy sweated. "I-I'll pass." He said.

Killua shrugged. "Oh, okay, then." He said as he walked back to all of you.

"W-Who is he?" Leorio said.

"Oh, you didn't know right?" Gon said.

"K-know what?" Leorio asked.

"Killua is from a family of elite assassins!" You said, smiling.

"A-Assassins!?" Leorio exclaimed.

"I'm back." Killua said and Leorio backed away from him. "What?" Killua said, confuse.

"Uh...Well..." Leorio sweated. "Good work!" He said.

Then, a door opened in the room along with a bridge.

"Across the bridge, you'll find a small room. There, you will spend the fifty hours you gambled." Lippo said.

"Alright! Let's go, Gon! (Y/N)!" Killua said.

"Yeah!" Gon said.

"Okay!" You said.

"R-Right..." Leorio said.

You all crossed the bridge and walked to the door leading to the small room. You all entered the room and the door behind you closed and locked itself.

Leorio sighed. "We're gonna spend fifty hours in this room huh?" Leorio said, walking to a nearby couch and lazily sat on it.

"Killua." Kurapika said.

"Huh?" Killua responded.

"Can you tell me what kind of technique you used earlier?" Kurapika asked.

"Technique?" Killua repeated.

"The one that you used to instantly remove his heart." Kurapika said.

"Oh, that." Killua said. "That wasn't a technique. I just ripped it out."

"Ripped it out?" Kurapika said.

Then Killua smirked and raised his hands. "To make it easier, I manipulated my body a bit." He said as you all heard a cracking of bones on Killua's finger and veins appearing on them. Then, suddenly, Killua's fingers were sharp as a knife.

"Wow!" You and Gon exclaimed.

"Y-Your nails...!" Leorio said.

"Mass murders are just amateurs. I used to be a pro. But my old man would've done better. When he rips out a heart, you'll never see a drop of blood." Killua said, smiling.

"How reassuring..." Leorio said.

"Killua..." You called out.

"Hm?" He said.

"I can do it too." You said, smiling.

Killua widen his eyes. "Really!?" He said.

"Yeah. Look." You said as you raised your hands and suddenly your nails had gotten longer and sharper.

"You really can..." Killua said. "How?" He asked.

"I think it's one of my animal part. A cat to be exact." You said.

Killua looked at your cat ears. "Ah, that make sense." He said. "Where do you use it?" He asked.

"Opening cans!" You smiled.

Killua sweatdrop. "Typical for a cat." He said. "Anyways, how long are you gonna wear your cat ears and tail?" He asked.

"Oh! Sorry..." You said as you closed your eyes and in instant, it disappeared. "Okay!" You said.

Gon pouted in disappointment. "Ah~ you were so cute with that." He said.

Killua walked around the small room. "Come on, let's explore!" He said.

"Yeah!"
