Blathers was accessing with fossils as he normally was during the day, then sometimes during the nighttime.

He heard a ring on his phone, he picked it up with his feathers, it was a call from Tom Nook.

"Hello." He says answering the phone.

"I want you to come to the Resident services." He directed.

"Yes, I will close my building for a while." He ended the call.

He walked out of the Museum, and then to Resident services.

As he walked into the wooden brown doors, he sees a Tom Nook.

"So, what do you want?" Blathers ask.

Tom Nook picks up his phone and sends Blathers a recipe.

The Recipe was 'Rainbow Progress Flag.'

"Aww, thanks Tom Nook. So, we just need some dye." He spoke partly to himself and some to Tom Nook.

"Mhm, so let's go out the doors, and we can go find some." Tom Nook replied happily.

They both headed outside the door, Tom Nook decided to hold hands with Blathers.

Blathers slightly blushed. (A/N, can animals blush if not, just pretend he is just for the sake of the story)

They went to get some dyes from some trees, with the flowers.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.

And of course, pink, also browns.

Blathers go to a crafting table, and makes the recipe, once it's done.

He wears it around his shoulders. He kisses Toom Nook on his cheek on his face.

"Thanks a lot Tom nook." Blathers says with a smile.

"You're welcome." He replies kissing Blathers.
