They both sat down for dinner. Sampoorna started serving food.
"Didi, I want to eat something tangy and sweet.."
"Haa Bondita... I made Begun er Tok (বেগুন এর টক). For you... I know during pregnancy women crave tangy dishes.. that's why I made this... Eat.." she served her the sour,sweet  and tangy eggplant curry. Bondita ate and it was very satisfying for her.
"Thank you so much didi... The curry is very  yummy... I feel like eating whole curry all by myself"
"Eat how much you want... And tell me whatever cravings you have... I'll prepare all of them for you..."
"Haa bahu, you should eat a good amount of food... You can ask for anything... Just remember that our Roy Choudhury's heir is in your womb... Make sure my grandson eats well"
"Sure Kaka sasur ji..."

Anirudh smirked at Kaka for addressing his unborn baby as male. How can he decided the sex of his baby. And why should only the boy child be considered as the heir of the family. Why not a girl child. Why does his Kaka only want a male child. All these rendered in his mind.
After dinner, Bondita helped sampoorna in cleaning the kitchen even after sampoorna tried to stop her many times.

"Didi, i like to clean the kitchen by myself... I feel satisfied doing it... And there's no problem atoll if i do household chores. Thakuma said that I can do any work without taking much stress... And didii... can i ask you something..."
"Haa Bondita..." sampoorna was surprised to see Bondita asking her like that.
"Didii, will please make yummy dishes for me... Because I get the taste of maa's recipe in your hands... You exactly cook like her..."

"Arey Bondita, you need not request me like this... You can always ask me whatever dish, whenever you want to eat... I'm your sister first and then you mother in law..."

"Thank you didiii..." Both sisters started talking. Bondita shared what all she did in Krishna Nagar. Anirudh was secretly standing near the kitchen and listening to them. He didn't want to leave his Bondita for a minute, but he was not allowed in the kitchen. It was his orthodox kaka's order. He stopped arguing and explaining with his Kaka.

Bondita was heading out of the kitchen, she found her pati babu standing there,
"Do you want anything Pati babu." She asked him
"You.." Anirudh replied in a jiffy.
Sampoorna, who was behind Bondita smiled and went outside. Bondita was little embarrassed and also happy to hear Anirudh eagerness.

After few seconds Anirudh held Bondita's hand, "come to our room Bondita... I really missed your presence there..."
Bondita smiled at his child like husband. He took her to their bedroom. Bondita went the dressing table and started removing jwellery. Anirudh too helped her. He gave her new saree he bought for her that day.
Bondita saw and didn't respond.

"Bonditaa... You didn't liked the saree...?" Anirudh questioned her worried.
"No no pati babu... I really loved them but... I don't have blouse for the sarees.. i should get them stiched..."
Anirudh banged his head thinking how did he forget. "No problem pati babu, i will give them to the tailor tomorrow itself and ask him to stich is as early as possible..."

Anirudh just nodded his head with slight disappointment with himself. Bondita observed him, "pati babu... I actually wanted to wear your night clothes... They are so free and cosy...can i wear them please..."
Anirudh was surprised, "haa Bondita you can wear them.. but...."
"But...!?"
"They are too big for you... You may fall down while walking... And I don't want you to get hurt..." Bondita thought for a minute.

"I will only wear the t shirt... It comes upto to my knees... Then I won't fall..."
"But what if Kaka sees you... I don't have any problem you wearing my clothes... I really feel happy that they could make feel cosy and comfortable... But i can't spare Kaka if he says anything..."

Bondita interrupted him,
"Pati babu... I will change clothes in after i wake up morning... I will get ready and wear saree and go downstairs... So Kaka sasur ji can't know that i wore your clothes..." Anirudh was convinced.
"Okay then, take whatever t shirt you want..."

Bondita smiled and took a navy blue coloured t shirt. She went to bathroom and changed. Anirudh was amazed seeing his Bondita in his clothes. They are very big for her but she looked so cute in them. After that Anirudh too changed into his night clothes.
They both sat on bed, "Shall we sleep Bondita... ?" Bondita was seeing him and not answering him.

Why didn't Bondita respond to Anirudh.
Anirudh and his overthinking unfolds now.
