Anirudh Roy Choudhury
A London returned barrister. Respect women very much. A revolutionary who want to give respect to women and want to change the society from strange rituals towards women.

Bondita Roy Choudhury
A middle class girl who always do contention (tarkh). Want to change society and fulfil her dreams. She also want to desire respect for her widow mother.

Next are the family members -

Trilochan Roy Choudhury
A man who respects and believe in hindi culture and rituals more than anything. For him, his respect and honour is also precious. He is the uncle ( kaka ) of Anirudh.

Binoy Roy Choudhury
A man who doesn't believe in hindi culture and rituals but do it for his elder brother ( Trilochan ). Father of Anirudh.

Somnath Roy Choudhury
Younger brother of Anirudh.

Vihan Roy Choudhury
2nd younger brother of Anirudh. Nickname batuk

Sumati Das
A woman who love her daughter more than her life. Mother of Bondita.

Devoleena Jadhav
Aunty of Bondita ( Mami )

Sundaram Jadhav
Uncle of Bondita ( Mama )

Sampoorna
Elder sister of Bondita, daughter of devoleena and Sundaram.

Anishka
Best friend of Bondita.
