IN SUNNY THE HIGHLANDS

Editorial: on the letter S-shaped map on VietNam. The highlands as a favorable location experienced many vicissitudes of history, yet, it still preserves its own characteristics. Now aday, a highlands is seemingly more beautiful and vibrant.

1. Ako Dhong Long house:

Buon Me Thuoc has been acclaimed as the coffee capital of the country. The first place most traveler are fond of visiting is Akon Dhong village, where over 50 long house of nearly 50 years pld. The village was very clean and nice, in the front of each house. I saw a lot of well trimmed flower Each house had a large yard for drying coffe beans. On the floor of a Long house, an elderly village was knitting as small basket. After asking for permission an acceptance. I interestingly discovered and took photo of the indigenous kitchen in use here. If you are an ethnic culture lover, than Dak Lak will be the place which you feel attached to because now in Buon Me Thuoc 44 ethnic groups are living together peacefully, each has it own diverse and attractive culture indentity.

2. Buon Don - the chief town of reminisce:

The next day I visited Buon Don, which is famous for taming elephants, and the old capital of Buon Me Thuoc. Althuogh having read several anecdotes about king of elephant hunters KHUNGUNOP. I was dazzled while calling at the sepulchral architecture of this hero.

Buon Don wa still relatively pristine, the long houses display the tools of the ede, M'nong ethniccities above all were kind of papooses, yongs, cymbals benches, the image of male and female stairs, several ethnical intruments and negligibly hanging pieces of clothes seen only festivals.

3. Visting Legendary Lak Lake:

Saying googbye to Buon Don with Serepok river running upstream to Cambodia, I visited legendary Lak Lake, over 50km from the city. The landscapes here were picturesque because Lak Lake still kept up it naturally pristine traits, which has been untouched by human beings. Coming to Lak Lake, you will have the opportunity to admire, imposing CuYan Sin range running across the horizon. To behold the scenry to satiation, you can a dig cut canoe, gently flooting on calm surface with little rippling waves created by the oars.

In Lak Lake, I had a change to enjoy dishes such as M'nong wild chicken steamed with lemongrass, fresh brook fish sour soup cooked forest banana flower. " Lam" rice in bamboo tubes or grilled dry boar without spice. The night, fog spirally rolled up from the lake like floating clouds.

Bidding farewell to Lake, returning to the city, we try to visit the museum and took the pictute of the divine konia tree, stopping for 10 minutes to visit Tu Khai Doan pagodo, a fammous holy tourist destination in the aromatic coffe city.

Googbye Buon Ma, googbye Buon Don, googbye Lak Lake, see you again, the sunny and windy highlands, all left a remembrance in the heart of a distant traveler.
