In the dimmed-lit main room of the lounge clubhouse, I'm sitting at an arcade game, playing a video game.

Ziandra saunters up to me with her bottle of hard cider in her hand. "Hey, Angie S."

I glance at Ziandra. "Hey, Z." I greeted her. "How are you?"

"Nothing much." said Ziandra. "I'm having a party here at the Tavern Bodge this evening."

"Okay. A party sounds fun." I said to her and finishes the arcade game and looks at her. "Is this a formal party? Or a party?"

"A party with kegs with margarita, food, party stuff like that." Ziandra said.

"Okay. I'll be at your party this evening." I said to her with a small smile.

"Alright then." Ziandra said and walks away.

I small smile to myself and plays another game on the arcade game.

Minutes after, I'm sitting at a round lounge table, snacking on a small bowl of sea-salted cashews.

"Hey, Ang." Sharron greeted me, sitting across from me at the table.

"Hey, Sharron." I greeted her back with a small smile. "Do you still have my Viper jacket?"

"Yeah, I do." Sharron replied. "Do you miss being apart of my gang group, The Vipers?"

"I do, sometimes." I told her. "I mean, I was a Viper five years ago while in high school, but now, I don't know."

"Well, you can think about it, Maureen." Sharron said to me.

Sharron and I exchange small smiles at each other.

JEN'S DINER

Later that day, I'm sitting at the diner counter with my usual strawberry banana milkshake, sipping on it with a straw.

My phone buzzes in my pants pocket. I takes out my phone and looks at it.

Agent Piper

I answer my phone. "Hey, Piper."

"Hi, Angie. Mayor Amanda Tanner is having a formal party at her mayor's office building this afternoon. Joana and I are gonna go." Piper told me on the phone. "Do you want to come along with me and Joana?"

"Yeah, sure." I told her. "But I can't stay long, a best friend of mine is having a party at the Tavern Bodge this evening."

"Okay, no biggie. I'll see you this afternoon." Piper said.

"You too, Piper." I said, and hangs up my phone.

I take a few more sips from my strawberry banana milkshake.

"Hey, Andy." Rowan greeted me with a small smile, walks up next to me at the diner counter.

I look at my ex-boyfriend, Rowan, with a small smile. "Hey, Rowan."

"It's good to see you." Rowan said to me.

"You too." I said to him. "Ziandra is having a party at the Tavern Bodge this evening."

"Ziandra is such a party girl." Rowan said.

"Yeah, she is. Definitely." I said.

Rowan and I are chuckles with each other.

"How are you and Joyce?" I asked him.

"Joyce and I are good." said Rowan. "She's silly. She makes me laugh with those small videos of those stick figures things that she watches on her phone."

"Joyce is pretty cool." I said to him.

"Yeah, she is." Rowan said. "I'm glad we're talking again, Angie. As best friends."

"Yeah, me too." I said to him.

TOWN HALL / MAYORAL OFFICE

Later that afternoon, everyone is mingling with each other, drinking their champagne and eating food from the caterers.

Piper, Joana and I are sitting at a table with our shrimp cocktails.

"These shrimp cocktails are really good." Piper complimented with a small smile, eating a shrimp.

"Yeah, they are." I agreed with her, eating a shrimp of my own.

My phone buzzes on the table. I pick up my phone and looks at it.

Video Chat : Aiden

I answer my video chat and Aiden pops up on the phone screen. "Hi, Aidy."

"Hi, Ang." Aiden greeted me on the phone screen. "Where are you?"

"I'm with Piper and Joanna at the Mayor Amanda's formal party at the town hall." I told my boyfriend.

"Oh, okay." Aiden said. "Ziandra's party has already started here at The Tavern Bodge."

"Okay, I'm on my way." I told Aiden and hangs up my phone. I looks at both Piper and Joanna. "Piper? Joanna? I gotta go."

"Okay, um, we'll see you around or whenever." Joanna said.

"Okay." I said, eating the rest of my shrimp cocktail and gets up, walking away.

TAVERN BODGE DIVE BAR AND LOUNGE CLUBHOUSE

Later that evening, I slowly walks inside the dimmed-lit main room of the Tavern Bodge. Everyone is chatting and laughing with each other with their red plastic party cups and snack food.

I look around at everyone, some of the Saunders Gang are sitting around, chatting with each other with the Vipers.

And then, I look at Aiden, sitting on the three seat sofa . . . and he's kissing his ex-girlfriend, Gilmore.

[Song ends]

I become gloomy. "Aiden?"

Aiden and Gilmore stops kissing each other and looks at Me.

"Andy?" Aiden said.

I walks away. And Gilmore gets up and so does Aiden.

"Andy, wait?" Aiden said, walking after me and catches up to me. "Andy, wait, please, I'm sorry."

I stopped walking and turns around to look at Aiden. "You're sorry? If I had known you were gonna slightly drunken make out with your ex-girlfriend, Gillie, I should've stayed with Piper and Joanna at Mayor Amanda's formal party."

"Look, I know what you saw, but I didn't know Gillie was gonna do that. She had some drinks and so did I." Aiden told me, trying to explain. "I was waiting for you, so, we can drink and dance together."

"Well, then, seems like Gillie kept you some company." I told him with an attitude and walks away.

"Andy?" Aiden said to me. But I keep walking away from him. "Andy?"

SAUNDERS HOME

That night, I'm sitting in my armchair. Goldie the Golden Retriever slowly trots up to me and, sensing my glumness, he gently lays his head in my lap.

I small smile to myself and gently soothes his head with my hand.

"Love you too, Goldie." I said.

My phone buzzes on the arm of the armchair. I look at it.

Aiden

I press the 'Red' decline button and just sits there in my coral armchair.

My phone buzzes a voicemail from Aiden. I press the voicemail.

Aiden (voicemail) Andy? I'm so sorry about what you saw between me and Gillie. You have to believe me, I didn't know that she was gonna kiss me. She and I both had some drinks and the partying got to us both. I know you're pissed at me right now, and I don't blame you. But I hope we can talk whenever we see each other. I love you, Shortcake, and I don't want this to come in between us. I can't lose you again. We're ship-game. A and A all the way.
